Items:]
Silver Die: This small, triangular die has four sides, they are not numbered but each have a symbol: a hand, a needle, a flame, and a coin. It tingles slightly in the palm and is quite obviously magical. PM me to let me know when you are ready to roll the die, it will be rolled randomly against a real die of the same form. After being rolled once the die will disappear forever.
Each side will do something different: one will affect the next breeding (random or not), one will grant a small power, and two will grant mutations one of which will probably be well received...and one very strange.
Silky Ribbon: This strange, yard long, white silk ribbon would look gorgeous on most SD...it feels oddly tingly though. Once an SD is wearing it, it is very hard for them to stop touching it, often the SD are seen rubbing their fingers on it nervously at least once a day. This item will grant one SD one Ability
Mallow Peep: This soft and spongy candy chick tastes absolutely delicious and has an odd, tingling aftertaste when consumed. This item will grant your SD a rather impressive power tailored especially to them. It also has the odd effect of turning your SD’s tongue yellow permanently.
Glass Rose: This thin, delicate item is incredibly beautiful and intricate. It's stem has a thin spiral of smooth glass winding around it so that the owner can grasp it without being cut on the razor sharp glass thorns that line its length. This spiral can easily be removed however and the rose given to a non-suspecting SD. The thorns will cause a very strange thing to happen to the SD pricked by them and a curse shall befall.
This rose can also be liquefied and drunk for a power, or used in a breeding. <3
Gnarled Sculpture: This twisted wooden sculpture almost resembles a tortured looking Card if you hold it in the right light...you can almost pick out a face on the side and things that might be limbs melding with the strange branches.
If you leave it in your abode for too long, you might catch a glimpse of something moving out of your peripheral vision...but it couldn't be the statue..could it?
This statue has the power to either grant an ability, become an item/clothing piece of power, or mutate your SD depending on when the item is used. Be very careful in using it as the time of day in which the PM you send me telling me to use it will have a direct effect which of the three you end up getting!
Green Vial: This small vial contains an interesting green liquid that shines even more vividly in low light than during the day. It smells slightly sulfurous and can only be used in breedings. When administered, this potion will ensure that one of the children born in the breeding is of a rank that is either of the highest parent or directly below it. Example: if a King and a Seven had children, one of the children is guaranteed to be either a King or a Jack, instead of having to run the gamut of rolling that it would otherwise entail.
Smashed Kiwi Fruit: This strange fruit looks as though it must have grown in the Midori, it's such an odd texture and color...and hairy. It tingles when scooped up, and even though it smells a little off, it gives the SD holding it the inexplicable and intense desire to eat it. NOW. The fruit has enough power in it to be split into two pieces and can be used on two separate SD, but only two and then never again. It can be used in the following ways.
1. Making this choice will cause the SD using the half of the fruit to grow a mane and a random mutation. The mutation will be rolled for from a secret list, but the mane can be any shape, style, or size, and up to three different colors (or one, no matter.)
2. Making this choice will cause a power and a random mutation to be bestowed upon the SD chosen. The mutation will be a large and impressive one and the power will be moderate and direction can be given, though it will be tweaked to fit.
3. The fruit can be used to affect two children in a breeding from this character. They will each receive an impressive mane in the Dealer's choice of up to two colors, and randomly rolled mutations.
Yes, this fruit can be fed to one SD (both halves) and two choices picked from the list.
Gold Dipped Skull: This skull is completely dipped in gold! Beautiful! It looks as though it may have once belonged to a Weasel or Ferret, with an overbite, eesh.
Whoever happens to first take this item and name it, will be able to access the following power.
Once a week, they will be able to cause another person's face to become see-through for a full hour. This is a profoundly disturbing effect as the individual can now see through their own flesh and can see individual nerves and their own brains, should they use a mirror. Cards ranked 5 and lower will feel a burning pain for the duration of this spell, and anyone with a weak will will find themselves begging for a mercy that cannot come and possibly shattering their ability to trust people.
Tattered Finery: This dress was pretty...once. Pleated leaves of silk with feather trim and a figure-hugging corset, burgundy, cream, and teal...it really is quite exquisite.
It tingles when touched and the owner will be able to, once a day, cause a strong wind to follow themselves, and no one else, giving them an ethereal and ghostly appearance. This look is completed with the atmosphere that accompanies...a chilling feeling to anyone who would see them or speak to them, a hollow edge to the caster's voice, echoing footsteps, and the ability to vanish for up to one minute make them seem to be far creepier than they really are...
[Traded to Bee]
Ruby: This large ruby tingles slightly when touched. It allows the owner to, once a week cast a two foot ring of fire around themselves that rises four feet high. The ring moves with them as they move and can only be put out by Spade water or its time limit or three minutes.
Emerald: This large emerald tingles slightly when touched. It allows the owner to, once a week cause grass to grow up to five feet high in a mile wide radius. The grass will remain this way until cut by laborers and can be quite the hassle to run through...except for the caster, whom it will part for. The grass grows to its full height in one second and this spell only works if outside.
Diamond: This large diamond tingles slightly when touched. It allows the owner to, once a week cause a blinding flash of light to shoot out of the caster's eyes. This light will blind any Card for a full 30 seconds with exception to Hearts and Spades Queens. [Traded to Satra]
Sapphire: This large sapphire tingles slightly when touched. It allows the owner to, once a week vomit forth a gale force surge of salt water. This column of water is the equivalent of 20 gallons and a rock hard fist to the stomach if it hits. It functions as Spade water to fires that cannot be put out by anything but.
x1 Tooth [Traded From Satra]
This jar is filled with teeth from various creatures, all of whom died in the heat of battle. An odd little piece, but perhaps you’ll find a use for it, hmm? There are seven usable teeth in the jar…all of which can be used for various things…though you must figure them out for yourself. Make sure you mark down when you use one and how many are left, and yes; you may trade bits of it away.
x1 Leg [Traded From Satra]
Mayle’s Tarantula: Don’t be afraid, ladies. This poor thing’s been dead for years, though its husk is perfectly preserved. The spider was said to have some especially intriguing properties while alive…I wonder if anything of them remains? This item has nine opportunities for you to do things: eight legs and one body. Each has the possibility of doing something different. Make sure you mark down when you use something and how much is left, and yes; you may trade bits of it away.
Scale disk: This hardened disk is about the size of a Human palm and feels like glass to the touch. When thrown, it develops a razors edge and will nick anything it’s tossed at. The nick will numb the affected area half an inch in every direction for a full 30 seconds.
(1x) Ticket: One ticket for the upcoming “I don’t know how to progress this character” draw. Good for entering one SD or Rabbit into the contest that helps develop plot in delightfully cruel wonderful ways.
Flailing Spinal Cords: This strange object looks like a pile of curled, and petrified spinal cords, fused together at the base in a large, intricate metal spike.
When touched by an SD that wants to own it, it will suddenly snap to life and heave itself with terrifying speed at it new "master", it will then slam its spike into the SD's own spinal cord and tap into their nervous system and brain link.
Once this horrible and painful process has occurred, the SD in question will find themselves with four, eerie and bone-blade tipped, protrusions that vaguely resemble arms with an incredible sense of agility. (Think, if you will, of Dr. Octavius...)
These "arms" do tap into their hosts nervous system, so if they are hurt or broken, the host will feel pain as though it had happened to their own limbs. They are agile and twice as fast as a usual limb due to their being twice as long as a usual creature's arm. They are heavy and will cause some incredible back pains and breathing trouble when running, though they love to assist with climbing things that ought not to be climbed. They cannot be harmed by any spells that are not ranked on a King's level (75p) or higher, but weapons can crush and break them like normal limbs.
[Traded to Bee]
Dark Glasses: These dark glasses look awesome! They let anyone who puts them on see perfectly in the dark for a full 10 minutes. Careful with them though...you might not like what happens if they break...
Piece of Golden Sculpted Honeycomb: Once per week, the caster can mutter the words 'sticky fingers' and begin excreting a thick, honeyed substance from their palms. They can then grasp one object and hold onto it for up to five minutes. Nothing but a dousing with Spade-summoned water can separate them from the object in question, regardless of force used. The limb it's stuck too doesn't seem to be able to be severed either. This item is unassigned and can be traded later.
Zacharias's Cloak: This gorgeous, blood-red cloak has swirls of what look like liquid sapphire sewn magically into it in pretty patterns down by the hem. There are some...darker stains in the folds, and it's a little ripped and torn...I certainly hope the last owner of this thing didn't have an...accident.
Regardless, it ought to be easy to repair, and it tingles like mad when touched, so it's more than likely worth it.
When someone places this cloak on, they will instantly be gripped by a peal of mad laughter, that they may be somewhat surprised to find is coming out of their own mouths.
They will feel almost as though their minds are...warping, somehow, even as a section holds onto their own sanity, another part of their minds will deteriorate and begin to move to the forefront of their personality.
This odd, dignified and deviously mad personification of themselves will be foremost and visible to everyone one day a week.
Some let it override them, some embrace this new persona, some hide themselves away for the day it comes out...it's up to you.The cloak does have one or two...beneficial qualities about it, though.
Once a week, this SD or Rabbit is now able to cause one other Card or Rabbit around them, of any Rank, save for Joker and Ace, to think they see the wearer as someone else. Whoever the caster wishes to look like at that moment, they will, down to the very last detail. Even if they only know the person's name, they will look exactly like them...don't let the ones you're trying to fool get too close to you, though; you still smell, taste, and feel like your original body, and this spell will only fool one set of eyes at a time.
The spell lasts for a full hour and must be used all at once, if it is used on the same person more than 3 times, PM the Admin, as you may be in in for a problem...granted, some might like it.
Once a week, this wearer is now also able to whisper the words 'speak to me', and hear (inside their own heads) the last ten words spoken by a person they concentrate on. It will be the last ten words spoken since that very second, so they may be jumbled, cut off, or otherwise make little sense, but some have found this spell painfully useful.
Favors:]
A small magical spell. It can be used once and is a spell that creates a small, choking cloud up to ten feet away from the caster, two feet in diameter and circular. It will disperse after three minutes.
