She wasn't shocked that the King didn't seem entirely too surprised by the ordeal. The Courts were not for the feint of heart, and she understood that. Unfortunately, she'd had to learn early on, just how thorough royalty could be with their punishments when they felt them necessary. To be honest, she suspected that Pravus really felt that was the right course of action to take, which, in itself was considerably frightening. She was about to respond when again the picture was brought up. She managed to stay completely motionless, until a rather awkward and sharp sensation in her spine made her back bow in surprise. Gasping at the sudden pressure, she quickly tried to relax her frame and ease out the lingering discomfort.
"Thank you. I am aware he has powers which can kill from great distances, and I have no doubt this has probably saved my life several times over." Her eyes were widened just a touch in surprise, this King was certainly a stark contrast to pretty much everyone she'd met so far. He was certainly suited to his position, for the more he did, the more she realized he just... knew things, and paid very close attention to detail.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make it so obvious but... I know how it feels to be blinded by love. We often do rather... unusual things to be happy in the relationship above all else." She shivered lightly, remembering just how she'd been, back in the day... posessed by a man who only possessed her because she couldn't let go, couldn't see how bad he had been for her, to her. "He has demonstrated fairness and justice as much as he has been able to thus far, I admire very much the personal touch he took when dealing with the situation previously mentioned..." It had shocked her greatly, that he had taken the time to not only have a bit of a heart to heart, but also to take precautions to ensure she remained unharmed. Of course, it had also been to protect his King, but really, she had a feeling the feline wouldn't have let her get away with anything he hadn't wanted her to get away with.
"You're a very intelligent man, your highness, though considering your position I should have expected such insight." She smiled at the hand which pressed into her shoulder, the mess of locks managing not to become entangled around his slender fingers. "To be honest, I couldn't imagine what you'd want to hear, serving in the courts seems to require a complex amount of things when it comes to personal opinions, emotions, and expectations." Not that she'd ever have considered playing along, but it was hard to fathom what an 'ideal candidate' would be like. She could only assume he'd met some amusing attempts thus far.
"Thank you very much, your highness. I will be sure to keep all those names in mind. I hope I have not too badly distracted you from your duties." She chuckled as she stood, making quickly for the door, not wanting to be any more of a bother since their meeting was complete. She still felt as if she hadn't done enough to deserve the new mark shining beautifully on her chest, but she decided she'd just have to work extra hard to prove herself otherwise.
((Hehe alrighty ^^ uhhh... should I wait any specific amount of time before her King quest *as I have enough points right now XD*?))
