A love bite?! That was positively a gnaw! ...though it was hard to get anything too difficult going, considering that all of them were babies, and thus didn't have anything approaching the set of adult teeth that Vessatha generally used to chomp on Quinn during times of displeasure. Still, the warm-happy place against his mother made everything better and, far away from his chompy-sister, he finally fell asleep for good, joining Chiari in a state of utter insensibility.
When Dysthymia cried out, Quinn nearly panicked; at least Aphasia had had a concrete reason for crying (his sister had chewed on him), but what had set off their lovely little Jack-child? Had she done something wrong? Was he hurt? Was he sick? Did he think the necklace completely and utterly clashed with his fur, and he wanted nothing to do with it whatsoever? Then he settled down once more, and she relaxed, because apparently whatever it was hadn't been enough to bother him for very long. This panicking over people thing was far too unsettling for the otter who normally didn't care how people reacted.
"I think that they should! Eventually, at least. Because the one would look so pretty on Chiari, and Saethre needs something, because all pretty ladies need to have jewelry to wear. I'd buy you something as well, but I wasn't sure if you'd wear it, because you do have several lovely necklaces at your home, and I didn't want to get you something you wouldn't like..." Quinn practically purred that last bit at Vessa; if she had her way, her lovely one would be bedecked in as many jewels as she could find, but she had the feeling that the ferret would merely toss them all aside for something far more practical. "And so if they have pretty things, I wouldn't want Aphasia to feel left out!" she concluded proudly.
Suddenly she noticed Vessa's dilemma, little Saethre all alone with no one to cuddle up to, and the otter eased her way on to the bed to offer the other Kahmden-mix something warm to sleep against.
