Oh, well then. That was a simple matter wasn't it? As much as Peaches hated going anywhere near her home region she wasn't about to say no. Lior was family after all, that's really what the entire court was to her. And... no one really deserved to be lost in Torquehelm where most of the people just ignored you if you were a stranger. Lior with his emotional turmoil, doubly so. Of course he picked the most depressing place to go.
Doing something completely random, Peaches leaned forward and licked Bernard on the cheek before moving back to her normal position. "Of course I'll help, you shouldn't give me such a worried look. Lior is more than bright enough to stay away from the Wood, so finding him should be easy."
She switched to a more serious face than her normal smirk. She didn't need to be smirking right now. "I'll get my stuff and we can go as soon as possible." Peaches walked back into her room to grab the various things she needed, such as her fan, and came back to the door. She was more than ready to get moving, she always kept everything for traveling with her.

Linda's eyes blinked slowly as Bernard began to stroke her crest, muscles relaxing somewhat. She should find it demeaning but really, it was very soothing. It always had been. She listened to her Uncle and tried to will herself to calm down further until Peaches suddenly leaned forwards and liked her Uncle Bernard on the cheek!
Linda's eyes went wide and she stared at the cat for a minute before a short bark of laughter escaped her. Then she thought of Lior and sobered again. But it had been enough to make her laugh and be happy if only for a minute. No wonder papa liked this cat, she seemed unpredictable.
Linda asked in a quiet voice. "Is there anything I should be taking Uncle?" She wasn't sure, it wasn't like she had clothing. But food perhaps would be handy and a few small items that Peaches could probably carry.

Bernard had no idea how to react.
Had the Cat just licked him?
"I uh...what?"
Linda laughing snapped him back to reality and he quickly swiped his hand across his cheek embarrassedly.
"Yes, uh. Thank you, Peaches. Good to hear, he needs finding. Linda, I'll run down to the kitchens and send someone up with packs and some money. Other than that just stay near Miss Peaches and take care,ok?"
He really did look worried. Nodding again to Peaches in thanks...and slight confusion, he turned and began to make his way down to the kitchens, the faster the two could leave, the better.
"Be careful, you two. If I don't catch you again before you leave...well, take care."
And he was off to the kitchens. A few minutes later a rotund raccoon biped would appear with packs of food and money and hand them bashfully to Peaches as they left.

Small victory for Peaches. Confusing people was so very fun. And she hadn't seen Bernard completely flustered in a long time. It was rather adorable. At least Linda got a kick out of it. Peaches smirked to herself and waited at her door until the cute little biped raccoon popped up. Well, this was going to be an easy trip.
She hummed happily as she shut the door behind her. Linda was easy enough to find. Girl couldn't move all that fast being a snake and all. Peaches rounded the corner. There she was. "Linda, ready to save your brother and knock some sense into him?" Peaches said in a rather sing song voice.
In all honestly she wanted to kill something. She hated going home. Hated it with a burning passion so deep she practically bleed from the hate. Lior was... oh that boy. Why on earth did he pick that horrible place? She sighed and waited for Linda's okay so they could start moving.

Linda watched her Uncle move swiftly down the hall and called out a goodbye. She was so very sorry for her initial outburst, and felt quite bad. If anyone in this palace loved the boy as much as she did it was him. He had been tough yes, but in well-meaning way. He had merely wanted Lior to know the joy of flight. And to a bird, her brother must have seemed significantly too heavy.
Peaches came around the corner and Linda looked at her uncertainly before smiling a little.
". . .Papa likes you, you know. But I don't know you very well. Sorry if I'm. . quiet." The small snake female wiggled back and forth a little sitting by Peaches feet.
"Could I. . get up?" She asked hesitantly looking at Peaches shoulder and blushing a little. She still wasn't sure of the cat, but surely if Papa liked her, she was okay.

Peaches grinned, "Not a problem, dear, not a problem at all." She knew very well that she could be off her head crazy sometimes. That tended to throw people for a rather interesting loop. She couldn't imagine Linda appreciated her crazy as much as her Papa did. Not many people did.
Oh right. No legs. Peaches smiled and picked the girl up, carefully placing her on her shoulders and the large pack that she had brought. Off to save the little Highlander boy from the big scary and dark place that Peaches used to call home.
She would rather eat her straight jacket than do this. Plus she had someone else to take care of... and all of that jazz. Oh boy this was going to be fun stuff. With a careful readjustment of her pack and checking with Linda to see if she was comfortable they were off.
Lior better appreciate this.
(( OOC: XD I guess this means we skip over to the other thread. ))
