Mephitisia arched a brow very slightly to the offer Peaches made but forced herself not to focus on it too heavily. It made her feel just like rest of her current emotions and she liked it even less. She had already established that she cared about Pravus, but it still remained a tense factor that she wasn't entirely sure she wanted to accept or embrace.
She would leave such feelings to Peaches. The woman obviously understood herself far more than Mephitisia did.
A bath, however, that definitely sounded good. Mentioning it brought the doe's attention down onto the feline's bloodied fur. Beautiful but..., Pravus was right in that the coagulated mess was beginning to reek. Mephitisia smiled slightly as she peered down at him, her expression hard to read but vaguely amused. "You really do, Pravus."
She reached out lightly, brushing his cheek with the back of her hand before rising to her own hooves and peering down at herself. Her legs were still covered in the blood she had settled into when Pravus had first collapsed. She scrunched her nose slightly in displeasure now, the odor notable now that she was thinking about it. "I'll draw up that bath for you, Pravus." She chuckled very lightly. "From the look of it, I'll probably need a bath room myself."

Peaches sighed. The smell was a lot worse for her than either of them, she was sure. She was starting to get dizzy because of it. Wonderful. And Mephit and decided to draw the bath instead of her. Why on earth did she do that?
The woman slipped her boots off and sat cross legged on the bed. "Is there anything else you need Pravus? Anything you want me to get you?" She said in a calm and cordial voice. It wasn't fake, just strained even for her. It was difficult to keep face when you were watching someone fall apart in front of your eyes. She couldn't even put one of her fake smiles on to make light of the situation.
It all just really hurt to watch. That was all she could do. Be helpless and utterly useless in this situation. But there was no use moping over it. She had to pretend to be useful just a bit longer.

Pravus nodded slowly, blinking back the tears. Later, later he could break down. Not that he hadn't already. He just didn't want to further embarass himself in front of these two. Odd, that they were taking care of him. The cat started just a bit, when had he ever assumed Fino was the only one that cared for him? Perhaps he had been trained to think so? Was it actually possible for anyone but his Queen to care?
No, he wouldn't dwell on it. Pravus hated this, hated that he was thinking so much. It was so very much unlike him and he found it uncomfortable. He leaned slightly into that hand as it touched his cheek and watched Mephit leave. His ears twitched as he caught the sound of running water and turned his attention to Peaches.
".. Why do you care so much?" He didn't ask it rudely, but more as a blank curiousity. Why did she care so much? Pravus reached a paw forwards to stroke along Peaches cheek, smearing blood as he went. A darkness ran through his eyes.

Over the sound of running water, Mephitisia became vaguely aware of conversation going on in the other room. An ear twitched toward the sound and her head tilted in the direction of it even as she rinsed some of the blood from her long legs. She could hear nothing clearly, as was usual the case with soft voices and loud water, but she didn't strain either.
Let them talk, it wasn't her place to eavesdrop anyway.
When her fur was clean of blood, she drew up a fresh tub of warm water for Pravus and returned to the room. Whatever scene might be playing out was addressed with a lightly raised brow and she waited for the first break in conversation to announce lightly.
"Bath's drawn whenever you're ready."
Mephitisia remained in the doorway, studying the two figures perched on the edge of the bed. It appeared almost as if she had interrupted something, but she refused to let her mind stumble in that direction.

Peaches didn't expect that. The blood on her cheek was enough to let her know that he really was asking that question and it wasn't in her head. She didn't hesitate to look him straight in the eyes.
"Because Pravus. You're part of my family." And I love you. Why couldn't she say that out loud? She reached up and placed her gloved hand on his. Honestly, why was it so hard to tell him the perfect truth. "And because I--"
And Mephit interrupted her whisper of the truth. That could be classified as being saved by the bell. Whatever worked for fate, honestly. "He's more than ready," Peaches said as she slipped off the side of the bed. "I'm going to wash my face if you don't mind... and um... do you need help walking Pravus, you still look pretty shakey?"

Pravus' eyes stayed on Peaches, dark and unreadable. They whispered over the blood smear on her coat and then dropped to the floor. He wasn't sure why he was doing what he was doing. In fact, if he had been left alone with Mephit he would have done the same thing. Was he really trying to play them off each other to piss them off? He shrugged, something that would appear odd to the girls that had not heard his inner dialogue.
"I think I'm fine." He said flatly as he rose to his feet. Abruptly he pitched over to the side a little, catching himself on the bed. "Shit. . " Finally, he said something with feeling.
He straightened up again before either girl could help him and closed his eyes, wobbling. It was like he was pregnant again, dizzy and lightheaded. He hated that feeling so much. Slowly he began to make his way to the bathroom, rubbing by Mephit as he moved through the doorway.
When he reached the edge of the tub he just looked down at it, knowing he would fall if he raised his leg high enough to get in, but not wanting to ask for help. Stupid, this was all so stupid. And so he stood there, staring at the rippling water in front of him.

Mephitisia already knew the Torque had feelings for Pravus. Had her copulation with him been the product of rape or something similar, she would not have been in the dungeon risking the blood that she was so obviously uncomfortable with in order to help him. So Mephitisia didn't think on it and whatever stirrings she felt upon seeing the nearly intimate moment, she ignored.
She was here for Pravus, wasn't she?
Although she lingered in the doorway, her eyes never left Pravus. His movements were shaky as Peaches had pointed out and she wasn't about to let the feline take a fall to the hard floor. Then again, she wasn't about to step in and support him the whole time if he wanted to say he was fine. Once he hesitated at the tub's edge, however, Mephitisia moved slowly over to join him.
Without making a show of it, the doe offered her arm to him for extra support. "Shall I join you?"

Peaches sighed as she slowly followed Pravus into the bathroom, watching to see if he was going to fall or not. She raised an eyebrow when Mephit offered him her hand. All right, whatever worked for her. The woman shook her head before rolling up her sleeves and running the water in the sink.
Crap, she should really take her gloves off to do this. She eyed the back of Mephit's head briefly. No, she would just keep them on and air dry them. Running her gloved hands under the water she leaned forward and slashed her face with the freezing cold. Yes, everything was very real if she could feel this cold through her gloves and on her face. With a sigh she grabbed the soap and and started to scrub her face until it was completely clean of all things that looked remotely like blood.
She grabbed a hand towel to wipe off her face and hands. Damnit, why did she have to feel dizzy right now? Mentally she shook it off and looked over at Pravus and Mephit.
Oi... poor Pravus falling apart.

Pravus swallowed a little, his mouth dry before gently resting his arm on Mephit's. Oh how he hated needing help, it was disgusting. Being weak. Sure he had been weak before but only to the hands of his Queen. For some reason when his Queen had inflicted the damage it didn't seem like weakness to him, it seemed almost a badge of somesort. Something to be proud of.
The cat lowered himself into the tub with a hiss, the water a bit of a shock to him. Though it wasn't too hot, or cold, just surprising for some reason. He watched in a detached fascination as the blood from his coat began to loosen and flake off, staining the water a pink colour.
His amber eyes moved up to Mephit, if she wanted to join she could, but the bloody water would probably dissuade her. Pravus hoped she didn't leave. . hoped that Peaches hadn't left from the room. For some reason they were comforting in their presence.
His eyes moved as Peaches entered and an eyebrow moved as she moved her hands from within her sleeves to clean. That. . was new.
