Hmmm binding, well, he could combine her hair growth serum with the vine inducing potion she'd conjured up. It was meant to be a stronger and thicker subsitute for hair and muscle, but it had a habit of... growing and growing and growing and just /not doing what it was told. "I have just the things, you're in luck! However, this will be a hell of a hairdo to get rid of, as the vine formula I'll have you mix it with has all the properties of normal plant vines, it just keeps growing and entangling things." She frowned her displeasure, for it could have been quite useful.
Not wanting to waste his time or push her business, she scurried into a rather dark and dank looking back room, the storage room, whose light had shattered about a month ago and she hadn't bothered to replace it. It was a chilling cellar-like area, so it was good for storing things, though the draft it created was rather unpleasant in the winter. She spotted the hair growth formula immediately and unscrewed it, putting a drop in a phial for her to recreate later. She repeated the process with the vine potion, not that she thought she'd reuse it, but just because she liked to refer to past experiments, failed or not. When the phials were set safely aside, she moved back out towards the counter she'd been sitting behind.
"There you are, luckily for you the vine potion I really had no use for, it was a complete failure for my current objective, so you can just have that one free. The second, however, will be two gold and ten pewter. If that's alright with you?" She was curious to see if he'd try to haggle, knowing how dry her business had been lately. She liked the stallion and all, but she'd raised the price to anticipate the lack of business, just in case. She needed to eat, after all, and pay the bills.

Shinrai lofted a brow at the price she stated; two gold was a bit steep for a prank, however well deserved it might be. He wasn’t entirely certain of potion prices in regards to the potions this cat was hawking, but he’d had to buy other concoctions for other reasons and he’d never paid that much for even the rarer ones. ”You are overestimating my sense of humour, I think,” the horse said lightly, despite his inner displeasure, though that was a bit too strong of a word, towards the price listed. He was willing to see wot if she would drop the price herself or if he would have to actually haggle it down with her. He was sympathetic to wot seemed to be an underlying need to sell something, but he didn’t feel obligated to support her.
A new thought occurred to him and he checked quickly, ”This is a temporary potion, correct?” Prank yes, outright changes, not so much. Whether or not he’d drop to her level for awhile, he had no desire to potentially injure here, no matter his often frustration towards the woman.

Tigs and Sera both receive 1 token each, to be redeemed in Ashwin's Shoppe. This will automatically be added to your recorded totals in the shoppe. Congratulations, and keep up the good RP!

She sheepishly smiled, knowing it had been a bit of a jump. She had assumed that with his rank, he'd be quite well off, but, typical palace royal, they could never have just enough money for themselves. Why spend it on someone who needed it when they could accumulate it and look at it for their own amusement and personal ego-stroking? She mentally rolled her eyes and put on a very sweet smile. "What a pity, a good sense of humour will get you far, I think." She retorted, at first appearing very set in her price, wondering if he'd push again to get the price down, or if he'd suck up his pride and fork some out of his wallett.
When he asked the question her ears dipped a little in embarassment. Damn it. Now she'd have to lower the price once he knew it was only temporary. Besaba didn't volunteer information, it wasn't part of her job description, but if people asked the right questions, she never lied. "Yes, it is only temporary..." She sighed in irritation, her tail flicking back and forth like a whip. "How is one gold and ten pewter then?" Ugh. This was going to be another very tight month indeed.

Rai was relieved to hear that the potion was only temporary, and was actually willing to pay a little bit more because of the fact. Nevertheless, he was pleased that she'd dropped the price to something he not only could afford, but was willing to pay. He had not long been a King, and his stipend had only just begun. But he would certainly keep the strange Corvistowneian tiger in mind even as he grew in power. Really, it was a shame she wasn't a Heart; he wouldn't mind having someone like her at his side when he finally went for Queenhood.
Nevertheless, no point in crying over spilled milk, as the saying went. It would do well to simply make himself attractive to her. "I will pay one gold, ten silver for it," he said decisively. "This service and your good will--" he sent her a small smile. "Are well worth that cost."

Well, well! This was more like it. She positively purred at him, tail kinking in the air in delight! She had thought temporary would mean much less than one gold and ten silver. Perhaps he had sensed her distress and decided to be a gentleman. Oh, a heart hmmm? Too bad... too bad indeed... Well, if he stuck around long enough... no, no. She needed to stop thinking about those things. Her potions were her passion, and penis could wait. Giggle.
"My my, thank you sir. You do flatter me, your highness." A little charm never did anyone poorly. She would have been more respectful initially, had she not been in such a funk. And, no matter what the rank, it was hard to be 'mightier than thou' with a frazzled cat who had potions able to turn you into horse dung. Okay, so she didn't have that, but she had something bad, surely. "Please do return and tell me how it goes." She giggled behind a paw, her eyes dancing mischeviously. "I do so love a good... joke." She had seen the not-so-playful malice flash between his eyes, and she knew this joke Wasn't just for laughs.
If only she knew more of the story.

Rai gave a low snort as he shook his head at her obvious flattery. Not a highness yet," he said frankly. "But hopefully... hopefully soon." He had an appointment scheduled with the Queen of Hearts; who knew wot would come of that potentially frightening meeting? The stallion tried not to think too hard upon the upcoming appointment.
He smiled at her giggling interest; it would be hard to imagine her not being curious as to how it would all come out. If he had crafted something like this, he would want to know how well it worked as well. "I will certainly return and let you know how she takes... the prank." He couldn't stop himself from smirking yet again. He couldn't wait to get Mnem; she so deserved a little pay-back. "Though I'm not certain when I'll have a chance to do it. Will you be changing locations?" he asked curiously. It wouldn't do to come back to find her gone.

She piqued her ears curiously, ah, so he was still... in-training then? She didn't know how that whole business worked really. Though her mother had been part of it, she had been too young to really follow every little detail. Too bad, information was good to know, of any realm and type. "Well then I wish you luck with that..." When he succeeded, hopefully he'd keep her little shop in mind, and then perhaps... it woudn't be quite so little.
She mewled happily when he said he'd return, trying not to bounce in place. Of course it would take a while, which mentally dampened the excitement a little, she was such an impatient little creature. "Thank you very much..." Her first true accomplishment, and it was for the sake of some rather... interesting payback. Oh how amusing it was! "Not for a long time, I can safely say. When I have enough money to make this place more... appealing, I might stay here for good. It's quiet and... inconspicuous." Not everyone took so kindly to those of her... profession. And of course she couldn't imagine this girl taking the prank very well, so she couldn't afford to be in the middle of the bazaar where people could just storm up and hunt her down. No, no. This location was good.

"Good," the stallion said easily. That meant he would feel no obligation to let her know how to contact him; he could just return at his leisure. "Then I shall make it a point to come find you after the potion takes effect." He took a moment to carefully pull out the required amount, laying it out on the counter so she could see that he did, indeed, mean wot he said about paying her more than her asking price. One gold and ten silver decorated the dank and run-down surroundings, glittering with almost preternatural charm. Money spoke many languages.
"I look forward to when we next may meet, Besaba," the green stallion said with a quiet smile, taking the potion with the same care he'd pulled out the payment with. He was a bit more careful at storing it in his bag; it would certainly not do to have -this- break and spill on him! He didn't even want to imagine wot Queen Serafino would think of that.
