Mia was unaffected by Mo's sudden rush to run away and hide. Most of the guards were fat men--at least the ones that sputtered so--and it would take him a while to get up the stairs (the massive circular stairs) and allll the way across the room, as the overhang was really a small part of the room.
At Mo's urgent whisper he merely grinned, and slowly got to his feet, careful of his bindings. Instead of running the right way (away!) he made his way to the very beginning of the fruit, and motioned Mo out of the way. As soon as the weasel was no longer in his path he sped along the edge of the banister, knocking each fruit off in a cascading line of fruit. Once he reached the end (and couldn't hear over the defeaning sounds of librarian's protests) he circled back to Mo, and then began fleeing the library. Their work was accomplished.

It wasn't really an urgency to hide right away, he just knew Mia well enough to know that he'd want one more go before they did and wanted to give him plenty of time to accomplish said mischief. And, as the ferret moved away, he very much felt like giving the boy a nip of disapproval, but he refrained. Occasionally the Queen in him welled up and felt terribly offended at having a Jack be aloud to order him around, but he fought that back often and usually came out on top. Otherwise he was snippy and full of himself and generally said or did something particularly dumb.
He was, however, quite happy to flee the library. It was about breakfast time, right? Through his lurkings he'd heard that they were planning on making something rather delectable this morning, blueberry pancakes! He simply loved anything with blueberries in them, but the pancakes were the best. Once they were fully away from the scene of the crime he'd definitely have to prod Mia to go get some food.

----- [ MORE TIME SKIPPAGE LOLZ ] -----
Dysthymia was in a good mood. He'd gotten out of his mother's grasp (and a lecture about how he should be studying more on Court politics, hurrah!) and was headed out for a day of doing absolutely nothing--the best kind.
The ferret had managed to scamper unseen out of the suite wing and had made his way down to the gardens, where he was now relaxing in a bed of flowers--no one was around to stop him, and they were highly comfortable if you avoided the occasional poking stem. Mia was at least being nice about it and had moved all the blooms out of his way before he'd simply flopped down--but it smelled absolutely wonderful. The ferret curled up amongst the grass and blooms and allowed himself to fall into a light daze. Vaguely he heard footsteps approaching, but decided to ignore them until they intercepted him, if they were going to do so.

He was actually quite certain that no one else in the palace knew just how boring the lessons were when you're teachers were trying to make you a 'proper' Queen. It was usually mind numbingly boring and made him feel restless and couped up, especially on days like these. It was so lovely out today, a fact he'd noted as he looked out the window, which he'd been caught doing and it had turned into a short lecture that he hadn't paid attention to. However something had come up and he'd been given the rest of the day off, something he hadn't stuck around long enough for the professor to take back.
He made his way outside into the warming daylight and strolled through the grass, eyes half lidded in comfort. Well, that was until he'd caught a rather strange shade of pink amoungst the flowers and opened them fully to investigate. Ah, it was that ferret, that ferret he hadn't had as much time to be around as of late! A smile caught on his muzzle and he went into sneaky weasel mode, walking off a bit to make it seem like he was simply a passerby before lifting himself just inches from the ground and heading toward Mia. He delicately placed only his hind feet down on the earth, so as to not make any noise, and let his from half fall in a lazy pounce.

Mia squeaked as soon as he was hit with a soft body. What the crap--who was that and where did they come from? It couldn't be Saethre, because she was with Quinn, though it was a move remarkably like what his sister enjoyed doing.
The ferret twisted his head enough to open one eye, and found himself staring into the smiling face of Morpheus. Dysthymia frowned at him, mostly because one of his bindings was becoming uncomfortable.. so he adjusted it and Mo at the same time, scooting around under him until he was comfortable. "May I help you, bored child?" The boy then said in a sleepy tone, about to fall back asleep himself.
After a few seconds he paused as his brain remembered something. "How did you sneak up on me, anyways? I wasn't that much asleep.." Mia frowned at Mo, waiting.

He was utterly thrilled at the fact that his sneak attack worked and he'd been rewarded with quite the adorable squeak as well. He was frowned at that, which he didn't quite understand, and then the ferret was.... wiggling? What the hell? He very nearly lost balance, which would have sucked more for Mia then himself, which prompted him to plop his rump into the flowers. He didn't really really care about the scratchy stems at the present moment and simply made himself comfortable.... draped across Mia. He was careful of the binding though, he always was.
At his question, however, he snickered a bit that grin of his growing wide and toothy.
I am the almighty sneaky weasel-rat, you should know that by now.
He rolled his eyes and only managed to strike up and maintain a regal looking pose for a few moments before beginning to laugh again. He turned his head and nipped at the other boy's nose afterward as well. Making a comment about his multiple frowns as well.
Grumpy today are we?

Mia idly watched as Mo readjusted himself. At the moment he was content to let him rest ontop of himself, mostly because he was warm and comfortable, but if he kept wiggling, Mia would shove him off.
"Almighty what?" Mia questioned, as he tried to keep himself from laughing outright. Instead, he raised an eyebrow and tried not to look too incredulous. "Almighty fuzzball, maybe.." To prove his point he moved his leg over enough so the wire was over Mo's paw, and lightly grazed it over his fur until he was awarded with a small pile of loose hairs. The ferret then smirked, his point proven nicely.
He nearly smacked the weasel rat when he decided to shove his ego out, because in posing, his elbow was nicely lodged in Mia's stomach. Thankfully Mo moved before the ferret had a chance to react, so he simply glowered at him a bit. He did, however, whap the weasel-rat when he nipped Mia's nose, and was given an eyeroll to boot with it. "What was your first guess, buttface?"

Oh ho, forgive me ye who do not shed.
His voice simply dripped with sarcasm, Mia shed to and those pink hairs of his showed up far better against just about any color then his own terracotta ones any day. It was particularly fun to sneak up and scare him when he was shedding particularly bad just to see the hair fly off. It was so worth the pummeling that happened afterward to.
And then he was whapped, which was most definitely returned although he made sure he stretched his toes out just right so he wouldn't nick Mia with one of his claws.
Well, from your face silly. It is ,after all, good for other things then just looking at.
He continued to grin and flicked his tail around to poke at Mia's cheek.
So is it s 'woe is me' day or one of those 'I'm Mia and I'm pissy' days... eh?

At Mo's sarcasm, Mia merely rose an eyebrow, and daintly lifted a paw. "You're just jealous, because I drip absolute hotness.." He trailed off, and shook his paw just enough to let a few neon hairs float down, then continued, ".. and you don't." The ferret, still smirking, dropped his paw and let it curl back up against his body.
Dysthymia ignored the return whap--for one, it was lighter than he'd hit Morpheus with, and two, he really didn't feel like starting a slap war. Those were reserved for less lazy, more bored days. Today was a lazy, bum around day. The weasel's comment about his face got him a very dirty look from the ferret--dirty as in disgusted, you perverted people--and knee'd Mo rather hard in the stomach. Little weirdo.
He nearly grabbed Mo's tail, as he wanted to hang him from a tree with it, but by the time his sleepy brain processed the idea the appendage wasn't in his vision anymore. Mia rolled his eyes once more--it was a habit around the younger boy--and tried to figure out when his 'woe is me' days. He was not depressed, geez! ".... Pissy."
With that, he gave him the most foulest look yet.. and twisted just enough to shove him off of himself with his hind legs.
