Well, he was bored and stiff and decided that if he went to bed now he could still fit in a couple hours of sleep before undoubtedly falling asleep later during some lesson or another. He was descending down the wall when he passed Mia's window and something.. .strange , had simply caught his eye and he halted a moment to inspect it further.
There under the window was a mess of blankets, no, not just blankets but a ferret who seemed to be failing at the whole sleeping aspect at the moment. Well, he could certainly help with that one way or another, couldn't he? Carefully with his claws he tested the window and to his surprise, and pleasure, it was unlocked and he pulled it up enough to slip his lithe little body through to land easily near the ferret. A wicked little grin spread over his muzzle and, after the smallest hesitation he nosed his way under the covers and pressed himself up against Mia as best he could and gave a very soft growl into his ear before resting his head on the floor to wait, or eventually fall asleep should the other boy not stir.

Dysthymia didn't notice the window opening, nor the sudden presence of a very well-known weasel-rat. He had fallen back asleep within minutes of getting warm and comfortable, and was in the midst of a very pleasant dream when Mo arrived. He was on a roof, but it was very high, and the clouds were floating at his height.. and.. suddenly there was something very warm there.
The ferret cuddled up instinctively to whomever it was immediately. It was a friendly cuddle, like he would have done with any of his siblings, regardless of his dislike for them; when they were younger and shared one bed, you damn well used whatever warmth you could find, and fellow furry creatures were the easiest option.
It wasn't until a few minutes later that his dream finally floated away, and the Jack remembered a few things.
Saethre was in the city. Aphasia and Chiari were visiting Torquehelm with Harlequinn. He wasn't in his childhood bed, he was in the Court of Spades.. and the only furry, warm creature he knew that was daring enough to creep into his bed was Mo--and wait, why wasn't he in his bed anyways?
The ferret lazily pushed whatever part of the weasel away from him, but it was obvious his mind wasn't into it; Mo wasn't shoved very far. Mia slowly opened his eyes and stared at his bed with a confused expression--why was he on the floor, and not his remarkably comfortable bed?
And why in bloody skies of orange was MORPHEUS cuddled up next to him? How had he gotten in? Instead of continuing to ask himself these questions, he tried to get out a decently coherent question to the man himself. "Wh'the crudfaces r'you doin' Mo?" Was all his sleepy brain could comprehend, but it was good enough. Immediately after he grabbed some blanket and tried to put it between their bodies, but the haze of sleep simply refused to let go long enough.

He was pleasantly surprised when Mia cuddled up to him and no further actions were taken. Maybe, just maybe, he could get away with catching a couple hours of sleep curled up with the ferret that he'd come to realize was a rather attractive fellow, probably not quite as much as he bragged to be but that pink and black coat certainly looked delightful on his lithe frame.
He was, actually, very close to dozing off when he was shoved, quite pathetically, away. He picked up his head, his grin returning, and watched with his ears forward in interest. He shoved down the snicker that wanted to erupt from his throat and, seeing that he still had a bit of a window still until Mia was coherent enough to truly protest, he moved over again. He took up his previous position and gave a soft, thrumming partial trill, his happy sound.
Sharing the floor with a good looking guy.
His grin turned to one that could not be described as anything short of roguish and he even ventured so far as to nip at the side of the ferret's neck as it wasn't hidden by any covers and was in easy reach. And, even this early in the morning, Mo was careful not to grab or yank a wire with his movements.

The trilling sound woke Mia up a little bit more, like noise usually did. He tried to open his eyes again, but only managed one, and wasn't surprised in the slightest to find that Mo had moved right back to where he'd been. ".. 'smyfloor.." He mumbled, barely audibly, a slight frown on his face. Something in the back of his head was giving him warning signals, that Morpheus cuddled up to him so was weird, and the happy sound was happening at a weird time..
.. but Mia ignored it. His brain was too asleep to know what was going on.. though the weasel so close to him in such a manner really was making him a bit uncomfortable. His solution? He flipped his body over so he wasn't facing Mo, but instead had his nose covered in blankets and pressed against the wall. What he didn't realise was that left him even less room to maneuver around Morpheus, but he wanted more sleep..
"Jus' ten more minutes.." His speech was halted by a large yawn, and he didn't bother to continue any further until his neck was suddenly nipped. His previous frown came back in more magnitude, but he didn't do anything other than wave a paw in the general area Mo's mouth had been. In a more concious state, that might have turned into a whack, but he was clearly not with it enough for motor coordination yet.

What Mia also didn't realize was that his shift in position only encouraged Mo to continue. He waited until that paw gave it's sleep softened swat to the air before he moved his head over and rested it on top of Mia, probably his shoulder and closed his eyes, the ten minute idea seemed nice enough especially if he could sleep here and now and curled up with a delightfully warm body.
He even went so far and to curl his tail up around himself, said appendage would probably brush lightly along somewhere on Mia as well, but that was purely accidental if he had. He'd hadn't gone to sleep yet and it was showing very easily on his face, not that the ferret was looking anyhow, and he felt himself beginning to drift off again and not thinking or worrying about the inevitable wakening of the pink ferret and probably a whap, or more, but a whap was the most logical outcome. He gave a soft little contented sigh and shifted a bit, getting himself fully comfortable.

Mia remained completely unaware of Mo's shift right back up against him, as he'd fallen back into his usual dead sleep. It wasn't ten but thirty minutes later that he fully awoke and was even more surprised the second time around to find himself sleeping with Mo, and this time, when he shoved, the weasel actually moved--he wasn't given much reaction time, as the ferret had simply flipped over and pushed with all four paws. "What the bloody hell are you doing, Mo? Do you have a bed of your own?" He scowled and got to his feet, and then realised that neither of them had been in the bed.. again.
It wans't his fault he'd fallen back asleep, afterall.
Dysthymia narrowed his eyes down at Mo, but silently began picking up the blankets and shoved them on the bed in a disregarding manner. He then sat on the edge of the bed and stared at the weasel, completely silent.

He was fast asleep and only gave a muffled little noise when the ferret moved initially, and then grunted and fluffed when he was kicked back with all four of the other's paws. It was a rather surprising move and it jarred him awake once again. The small amount of sleep he'd gotten was evident as he held the "I only slept 30 minutes in 24 hours' look. He started at Mia in a mixture of sleepy stupor and shock. What was so wrong with what he'd done, eh?
However, his usual humor wasn't completely diminished and his words were tinted with it after he'd given a temporarily effect yawn and stretch.
I do.... but it's so much comfortable to curl up with you.... warmer to.
He hadn't had any experience with siblings, or even sharing a bed with anyone really and it had been rather nice and comforting and well, warm just as he had said it was. He wanted to pounce the ferret and curl up on the comfortable looking bed but figured that that would be deemed offensive and the ferret would let him have it as he usually did when he stepped over any form of a boundary line. Man, the boy had so many how was he supposed to keep tabs on all of them?
What he said next was full of genuine curiosity, and nothing else really. His mind needed to know and he wasn't about to deny it anything.
What's so wrong with that?

Dysthymia wasn't amused in the slightest by the weasel's joking tone. He didn't always appreciate how Morpheus tended to take life like it was one big party, and now was one of those times. He found the weasel amusing, entertaining and fun to be around most of the time, but Mo had a bad habit of pushing his buttons and limits at the same time. Like now.
Mo's words only served to irate him even further. Yes, it was comfortable and warm (--why was he even thinking about agreeing with that?) but why did he have to invade Mia's space to be warm and cuddly? Were there no other pretty boys out there Mo could cuddle with that wouldn't involve interrupting his sleep and privacy?
The ferret climbed all the way on the bed and backed up when Mo's expression changed ever so slightly, like he wanted to pounce. Mia didn't particularly want to be pounced, but he wanted an escape clause if it was going to happen. Instead of moving, however, the weasel just asked him a question.. one that completely confused him.
What was wrong with it? What was WRONG with it? What the bloody hell on a pogo stick was wrong with HIM? "You. Cuddling. Me. Bad." His words came out short, and he'd begun waving his hands in front of his face like he was trying to form sentences, but wasn't able to. Finally he gave up and stared at Mo with what was possibly the most 'duh' look he'd ever given anyone.

Half the time Mo didn't even know he was using that tone, it was just second nature to him now and he never knew why Mis got so cross with him for merely speaking sometimes, it baffled him more then he was at this very moment. He couldn't quite understand what had just happened and it was something that was clearly reflected on his features. His confusion would be further demonstrated with a tilt of his head as well.
Apparently it was bad enough to the ferret to block out any form of intelligent speech, which warranted a raised brow. He still, for the life of him could not see any bad in it. Mia was just flat out weird.
I still don't get why you're freaking out about this, I truly do not see what's wrong with cuddling up to someone you're close to.
He curled his tail up into a c shape rather then it's usually happy s, he wasn't really happy and his tail most certainly wasn't going to lie about that fact either. He was terribly... .confused.
