Seth pressed the ice up against his head, grinning crookedly. When it came down to it, he wasn't all that drunk... but damn was he feeling good right about now. The pain only fed into his intoxication, though in an entirely different way. The way that his heart was poinding in both his chest and his nose gave him a sort of a high as well. He leaned over the bar slightly, resting his head against the cool wood and closing his eyes, grinning broadly at Peaches. He just couldn't look at her right now. The way she was spinning was making him feel dizzy. "Heh, smashing... That's a good way to describe it,[/b]" he said, laughing and wiping the blood away from his nose.

Slowly, one red-on-yellow eye slid open, considering the woman closely. He was pretty sure that over the smell of blood, he could almost catch a hint of alcohol on her breath. She was probably feeling pretty good after the drinks she'd had.

"We can hea' to my place iffen you like,[/b]" he commented, raising his head off of the table ever so slightly, then putting it back down. No, he wasn't ready for that much movement just yet. "I mean, it's real close, and I think I'm too drunk for anything more to happen. But there's a shower and I can sleep on the couch if you wanna have the bed.[/b]" he was pretty sure he was babbling, but she was tipsy enough that he figured she wouldn't really care.

Peaches would probably be worried about his head if she could focus on a proper conversation. However, she couldn't. She could handle the babbling and all. "Place. Shower. Bed. Sounds fantastic to me. Let's leave when you can stand without falling over, yes?"

Oh and there went her attention span. And she could feel the pain from the drink slowly making it's way down her throat. Without a second thought she dropped her heart ability and coughed rather furiously.

She really needed that shower. "But if you don't want the couch I'll take it. I sleep in my animal form anyway." She said with a shrug as she slipped off the barstool. Standing she realized that she was in fact dizzy. Tolerance was a funny thing. At least she wasn't the one who got punched in the face. She snorted. Well, at least this was an interesting "one night stand."

"Bed'n'shower it is, then,[/b]" the man announced, swinging himself off of the stool and landing quite firmly on his feet. He blinked down at the ground and swayed for a moment before finding his balance, then looked up at Peaches with a wide, tooth-filled grin. "Yep, good to go.[/b]" he announced quite happily, extending a wing slightly to her in an offer to help her off of the stool and out of the building.

He would appreciate the support that she would inadvertently give him by accepting the arm if nothing else. As soon as she was on the ground and he had wrapped a wing around her arm, he set about wandering out the door by her side, leaning on her ever-so-slightly. "Animal form, huh? Curling up... Well if you don't want the couch that much I wouldn't kick you out of my bed.[/b]" The warmth from her fur, even in the temperate capital, would be more than appreciated by the heat-loving bat.

The fresh air woke the man up slightly, and he shivered. Damn, his head hurt! He motioned up the street with his snout, towards a relatively nice-looking apartment complex. "It's right there. Think we'll make it?[/b]" He laughed. The walk would be quite nice, every breath of outside air made him feel just a little better. If only he could get rid of the headache...

Peaches grinned and accepted the bat's arm. She was happy to provide him with some proper balance, and it prevented her from tripping over her face. Years of wearing a jacket like hers did mess with her balance and perception of things, cat or not. The alcohol obviously wasn't helping.

The rush of fresh air almost made the woman cringe. Biting back the urge to shiver she continued to walk besides him, trying to find the proper words. "Well, if you'll let me stay in the bed I'd be happy to. I cat can't exactly refuse a warm thing to sleep next to."

She grinned at his other comment. They were wobbling pretty bad, and he looked like hell. Maybe she was sober enough she could whip up some sort of medicinal tea for him? Then again... not many people besides Hatter had supplies to make proper tea. "Yeah, we can make it. Though, do you have any medication at your place? You look like hell."

Having spent almost his entire life in the ice of the Glacier meant that Seth had almost a second sense for cold-related discomforts. He hadn't even been aware of the fact that outside of the bar it was cold, but Peaches clearly disagreed. He wasn't about to say anything, instead folding a warm, almost blanket-like wing around her and grinning cheerfully. "Good good. I can't exactly say I'd dislike some extra heat, either. Old habits die hard, eh?[/b]" he chortled, steps somewhat crooked from the alcohol and his throbbing head.

They reached his flat, and he was quick to unlock the door. Inside, it was a simple studio, with a large bed off to one side and a couch to the other. The bat wobbled over to the bed and then collapsed in it, eyes fluttering closed. "Don' need medicine,[/b]" he replied, grinning at her and patting the bed next to him. "Jus'... Jus' some sleep and the company of a lovely lady like yourself'll have me feeling great in no time. Promise.[/b]"

It was a partially empty promise. By the time Peaches made it to the bed, the man would be fast asleep, mouth hanging open ever so slightly.
