(Eee! OMG I need my Hatter now! He loves clockwork mechanics and one of the things he wants to do more than anything else is to make a mechanical pet (of either a slithey tove, mome rath or a bandersnatch XD). He'd love to assist Max with his experiments ^^)
Cecilia giggled fetchingly as Ezekiel introduced himself, fond of the way he stuttered and seemed so adorably uncertain. So cute! Her cottony tail wiggled a bit faster and she absently sidled ever so slightly closer.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Ezekiel...and your brother as well."
Oh yes, Cecilia knew she was real pretty...so many boys told her everyday. And she absolutely loved it. However, with knowledge of her beauty came enough proper grace to blush fetchingly and incline her head in apparent pleasure and bashfulness.
"Why thank you, Ezekiel! You're quite handsome yourself." She stretched her lithe frame before his, absently flaunting her delicate form. Perhaps he'd been wrong about his earlier assumption that she'd not approached him to just look cute. "Actually, I think you've got quite a natural charm about you. There's always something charming about a bashful boy."
But oh, Cecilia definitely had that Diamond edge, that was for sure.
For a moment Seki simply blinked in confusion. One moment he'd been lying on his face, and the next both Xylia and Solo had lept to his defense...and then apparently gotten distracted as he was swept up against his mother's side. "Yeah, I'm all right." The question was for all three of his defenders, and though the boy spoke casually he was blushing something dreadful beneath his dark fur. Shifting so that he was comfortable against his father's side even with his pointy bindings, Seki decided it'd probably be best to settle down here until Rindal had distracted himself.
Knowing his luck Rindal would be really sore with him now even if he'd just been 'playing' before. Not to mention that he was absolutely riveted by mechanics like his father so that he was more than happy to sit and enjoy the 'show'.
Xylia grinned over at Solo as he not only joined in her 'peace keeping' but started conversation as well. She just loved conversation! Then again, it was hard to think of many things that Xylia did not love.
"Hi Solo!" She paused, blinking adorably before flicking her mane aside with a lil toss of her head and continuing on. "How's what? I don't have any ...tricks?"
Alas, despite her wealth of cheer, she was a bit...well, literal at times. A side effect, perhaps, of being a budding scientist.
How was it that within the first few moments of arriving so many of her children could cause so much trouble? The ever withering Seki had already been rescued but Cecilia was on the edge of the park brewing up a whole new type of trouble. Ophelia was forced to turn her attention away and down onto Maxwell. It would do her no good to say anything because with Cecilia's strange rebellion against every word Ophelia uttered to her.
Not to mention she was quite intrigued by Maxwell's work. Those clockwork mechanics, while they were not her forte, had become an acquired interest. And, to her delight, they had even caught Mephit's interest.
The mixed deer was staring with wide-eyed fascination at the work Maxwell had done, shocked and pleasantly surprised that the little machine was moving about on its own power. Slowly she was forced to speak up, admitting her approval. "Very...impressive. I would like to see the completed prototype one day."

(OOC: BABIES! XD too bad Zane is very "Ugh, go away" about the whole thing. Anyone has permission to do something horrible to him.)
Ezekiel was flattered. He felt a little more confident in himself--since the girl obviously knew what she was doing he should be confident. That's what he told himself anyway. He still felt awkward when he was the only biped around. Maybe this is what adults felt like when they only had their animal form? He could debate this later, there was a girl standing right in front of him. A cute girl.
"You can call me Ez if you like," he grinned. "I suppose we should forgo talking about charm. I totally don't have any concept of what coloration comes from where because..." He lowered his voice to a whisper, "I never listen to my dad."
He raised his voice back to a normal level, "Where do you come from? I mean, you seem to be one in a million."
--
Zane rolled his eyes from a distance. For the love of heaven his brother was already hitting on girls. He was sure this was a diamond thing, and he was sure his father was far more subtle about it. How can anyone put up with his brother's pomp and circumstance? The sparrow looked up at the nearest tree. Maybe he could perch and mock the pedestrians as they walked by mentally. As long as he narrated inside his head he wouldn't cause any trouble.

(enter Phyr [pronounced like fear] and Kare... sorry if this is a little messed up. I'm getting into Phyr's fears lol. Also... Gen and I would love if it anyone would be so kind as to have their little ones pick on, make fun off, badger, hurt or otherwise emotional scar our two little freaks in this lovely gathering lol. They are -weird-, after all, and not all people love those who deviate from the ordinary.) Short ebony legs flexed wildly in the afternoon light, causing a cool breeze to funnel through velveteen fur and pummel thin, violet sides. The sun was not forgiving upon the black strips, but the little female didn't care. Her mildly plump, distinctly youthful form raced down the busy City streets in a near panic. Everything about her was on the fritz. From the full fluff of her already extraordinarily generous plume to the crazy look in those once innocent, indigo-blue eyes screamed "upset!" to any passerby. If she were feline, she'd probably be hissing and spinning with her spine ridged, but as it was, she was not. The poor kit darted past shops, between paws, under carts and through sidestreets in a dizzying haze. The big world around her was like a giant labyrinth and she was a victim of it. She didn't know where she was or where she was going, only that she needed to get out. They were back there. They would get her. She could feel them breathing down her back when she slowed, hear their voice oozing into her mind. No matter how hard she ran, the little fox-mix couldn't get away. We're coming... A snake like sound whispered teasingly from the distance, one only she could hear. We can see you. You can't hide... we're coming.A blood curtling howl spilled forth from her lips as she choked back her terror, the whites of her eyes exposed. What to do?! What to do?! Suddenly, a Card leapt out in front of her out of no where... the green arms extending her way and the little girl knew they were just out to get her and swallow her whole. She panicked, screaming against and back pedalling into a cart with a loud THUMP! as the Avington continued to walk by, hustling on his way into the Market Square. A long, thin muzzle shook instantly as she scanned around, the sheer motion making her queazy and noticably ill. Don't stay still! They'll get you! She thought, terrified. Without warning, her hindpaws kicked and she burst into the art like a fox after it's prey, racing down the street again and between a woman's leg without care. Her mothers where back there... somewhere. She didn't know where. She had lost them again, but couldn't go back. No... not there. They'd find her... they'd get her and rip her apart limb from limb. Mama didn't see them, but she knew they were there. They waited in the shadows... just ready to strike. A whine escaped her maw as she stumbled her way into a wide open area, the sound of footfalls pacing behind her alerting her to her persuers once more. NO! She cried, her shrill voice horrified as she ducked passed some of the other children on the playground, grossly morphed into zombies in her mind's eye. Get AWAY!!!

It all happened in a flash. Bloodcurtling screams pierced her eardrums and she fell over backwards as a mess of fur and paws scrambled over top of her and began to dart away into the distance. Wondering what what going on at first and feeling a little bewildered, the agile-footed pup sat in her place on the ground in the dirt watching as her sibling fled for her life hollering all the while. Frightened eyes looked 'round at their surroundings and as she noticed everyone was dashing out of the way, she moved her maw almost like she was going to say something, but nothing came from her throat. Only dry air, and she sucked it back in as quickly as it had left her being. Rising now to her four steady paws and shaking her mane free of brambles and dust, lithe foxy form trotted around the Capital City. Thinking about where her sister might be headed, she drew a child like image in her mind. A map of the city in her brain, a vision that only she could see. The unstable thoughts of her littermate had been no more uncommon to her than the fact that she had two mommies. But that was not seen as something to shake a finger at in her community, no. Right now however the focus was on the direction her sister was going. Down the street, past the vendors, through legs of the unyeilding. As gentle pink eyes had watched, Kare took notice that her beloved sister had not taken any turns in her endeavors to get away from whatever was plaguing her at the time. No, she was headed straight for the center of the city. The Park, where everyone was sure to be on a beautiful sunny day such as this. If there was one thing Mekare de Corialoske had inherited from her parents it was her ability to think ahead and plan. Mama had always been that way since they were born, and Meera made sure to remind her all the time that they were always just thinking of the two siblings's best interests. Even when it came to saying "no" to certain things. But Mekare had never asked for anything, not since the day she found out that something strange was within her bonded blood. What had become of Belladonna Zephyr's mind lately was unknown to her, and it troubled her sometimes. All she knew was that she needed to protect her family. Protect their good name. Keep their reputation afloat. For such a young one she was brilliant. Setting off in a short cut to the middle of the City where the park was, Mekare knew she would not arrive before her sister, but she would get there in a more timely fashion. Perhaps if she were to run she would arrive almost at the same time, but truth be told she was not much for running. Liesurely walking would have to do. Besides, Phyr was not a danger or a threat to others. And her psychobabble didn't make any sense to anyone as it was. No one would be able to understand her, no one would comprehend her. A few moments later Mekare strolled into the grass and saw quite a few others gathered in the park. Young ones such as herself, and there in the midst of them was her petrified sister. Taking caution to approach, Mekare walked up to her little sister in a very unthreatening manner and tugged on her tail with her teeth. Two gentle pulls on the soft plume, and her brilliant salmon-hued eyes shone up at her sister with a pleading expression. As if to say, "Please, Phyr, let's go home now."

[OOC: Guh...sorry it's taken so long ;]Severus and Vertumnus quickly found themselves overwhelmed by the sheer amount of young people in the area. It had happened all so quickly, their own family, plus quite a couple of children the two of them had never seen before. Severus growled visibly at Rindal's treatment of his halfsibling, Seki. He had to admit that he wasn't very fond of most anyone in his family, except for maybe Ophelia, but he still had some principles, even if they proved to be rather ambiguous sometimes. The teasing of his younger half sibling almost sparked action, as it reminded him of the times Vertumnus put him in equally horribly embarrassing situations, but it seemed his younger sister was taking care of it. He didn't really know what to do with all the children streaming in from almost no where. He spied Cecilia flirting with some avian child that came around, and rolled his eyes. He saw her future to be very bleek, though he said nothing. There was just something about her that made him think that her life wouldn't be that satisfying...and might very well turn dangerous one day. Lust could be a deadly game, though, he really wouldn't know. He barely LIKED anyone...let alone lusted after anyone. He decided it was best to head over towards his mother now that she arrived once the last two children appeared. One screaming at them to get away. His eyes narrowed, and his serpentine nostrils snorted. How dare she! She ran up to THEM after all...maybe SHE should get away. Ah well, to each his own. With a flick of his serpentine tail he headed to his mothers side wordlessly. Vertumnus got there first. He didn't really like his mother very much, after all...she was the one who made him so ISOLATED. If she had only given birth to some more normal children, maybe he wouldn't feel so alone, but in this moment, he didn't care. That screaming child was scaring him and he needed comfort. He dived for her side, snuggling cutely up against her as he did. He muttered something about all the weird children around. Maybe if he had seen the two avian children he would have felt a little better, but as far as he knew...the place was overrun with crazies.

One would think an adult would react to a child screaming bloody murder through the streets. Apparently not. The sparrow, who had been ready to perch in a tree flopped back down to the ground in a huff. Why weren't the adults handling this? That's what they were there for.
The bird held back a sigh. He didn't want to provoke any conflict, but he honestly wanted to see if the girl was all right. Stupid conflict of interest. Why was his brother always busy flirting with girls, anyway?
Zane prepared himself for the worst as he slowly approached, watching the other girl pull on the screaming one's tail. The must have been siblings... or at least friends. He couldn't help but feel something ominous hanging over him as he approached. When he found himself awkwardly close he manged to ask the question that had been nagging him the whole time. "Is everything going to be all right with you two?"

Vertumnus having fled to Ophelia's side, Helen looked around her, bereft of companion. Then she saw the person that was screaming and darting around as if someone had poured sulferic acid on her tail - or maybe not, because she didn't seem to be in physical pain. Or at least, not that the tri-colored deer could spot. A strange little hound-child, that made her rise to her feet once more, chains jingling, and persue the girl with nonchalant steps. There was another pup approaching as well, one who tugged on the tails of the terrified thing in an action that seemed almost sisterly. Not that she really knew - Cecilia was usually off playing with boys instead of spending any time with Helen, and Helen wasn't particularly interested in spending time with her sister. It was a vague quandary that no one was particularly interested in remedying.
"What sorts of things do you see, in the black mask of your face?" she asked dreamily, glassy eyes peering up curiously at the fear-filled gaze. "Do you see the deaths of nations, or merely the falling of the smallest bug as it lives out its last seconds of life before hitting a roof?"
Solo didn't notice the strange confrontation yet, seeing as how the screaming didn't seem to have anything to do with his siblings - full or half, whichever. Instead he grinned almost pompously at Xylia, the same cocky smirk that his mother often sported, combined with the brashness of youth. "I was asking what you'd gotten up to since the last time I saw you!" he explained, and then continued on. "Have you learned anything new? Well, of course you have, yer a Corvistownian fully, right? You need to show me new stuff, so I can keep up on what I lose out on in Torquehelm!"
