Xiven had turned eighteen. She was ready to make her move. She had spent two years gathering information, and she was more than ready to share her findings with His Majesty Shinrai. Backing down wasn't an option, she was more than ready to stand her ground. The feline had removed her bindings for the meeting, plus she had to carry all of of her files. That was a little bit difficult without hands, but she could manage. She was, after all, related to Peaches. If her mother could do things for 19 years without hands because of a straight jacket, Xiven could carry a few files without trouble. Well it was more than a few, she had a rather hefty stack with her. She had categorized two years of polling staff members after all. Two whole years of information covered a lot of ground. The feline carefully knocked on the door in front of her. "Your Majesty, Shinrai, I've created that organization you wanted. I would like to share the results with you if at all possible." Well, she had actually set up the meeting before hand, but she still wanted to be polite and innocent about it.

The stallion looked up from the paperwork on his desk and gave the girl a genuine smile. "Come in, Xiven. I've been expecting you." He'd been keeping tabs as well as he could on all of the kids, but two years of added stress were threatening to start showing. For now, he faked the same old, same old, but he was tired.
After the fit of pique from both girls two years ago, Rai had been a bit concerned about accidentally killing dreams and ambition. He'd been relieved to learn that Xiven had not only reconsidered the task but also gone through all of the effort to set one up.
"There's room on the table of there for your files." He gestured towards a table with two chairs set up near one of the large bookshelves. "Feel free to take a seat; I'll be with you momentarily." It really would only be a few more minutes; he was almost finished with the document before him.
His workload had increased a lot when Samid. . . but now was not the time to think of that either. The ram was gone and that was that.

Still not having hands was a lot to deal with. One day soon she was going to have her biped form if it killed her. That way she could master a weapon and not have to worry about doing paperwork with her mouth. Plus she wouldn't have to worry about struggling with doors while juggling paperwork... as much.
After a minute or two she opened the door and slipped in. "Thank you, your Majesty." She said as cheerily as possible with paperwork in tow. The paperwork she had was probably the same amount he had to go through in a day. Wait... didn't he used to have an assistant?
She quietly arranged the binders on the table in order of year, most recent on top. She had managed to do all of this work by herself, and hopefully it was going to be understandable.
"If you want, your Majesty, I can get you something to drink since you seem terribly busy and... your assistant doesn't seem to be around recently."

Could it be the stallion tensed for a moment at the mention of his previous assistant? Either way, he didn't miss a beat, instead answering smoothly and with another quick glance. "Your consideration is appreciated, Xiven," the man said quietly. "That would be wonderful. Ira is down in the kitchens now; he will know wot to send."
Well, the stallion was fairly certain Ira was still in the kitchen. He would leave it to the young woman to decide if she wished to actually go down there herself or to send a servant after the aforementioned teenager.
With that question answered, Rai let his attention shift back to the documents only to switch back again shortly after his eyes had begun re-reading the top of the page. "And, of course, feel free to procure something for yourself as well." He sent her one last smile, this one distracted, before letting his attention return to the pages.
(( If you don't want to deal with Ira, feel free to send a servant to the kitchens. *thumbs up* ))

"All right, Your Majesty," Xiven said with a bow nod before quickly exiting the room. She could go down to the kitchen herself and find Ira, or she could send a servant to find Ira so he could get what the Queen wanted. That was assuming Ira stayed still, she didn't exactly know his habits. She actually didn't know much about him besides the fact that he was Shinrai's son, might have scared the pants of of Raj, and was supposedly charming enough that he could convince the devil to do something for him.
Maybe it was safer to find a servant, especially since she was bad at hunting people down. Catching the nearest person, she gave them cute kitten eyes before speaking, "Could you perhaps get his Majesty his preferred drink? And perhaps you could get some chocolate tea for me?" She grinned as the servant nodded and quickly departed.
She returned to His Majesty's office slipping in quietly. "The drinks should be up in a moment, Your Majesty." Xiven quickly returned to her binders.

Rai did not immediately acknowledge her words and it wasn't until a few minutes later that he looked up and answered, "That is excellent, Xiven. Thank you."
He was tired and nearly sick to death of paperwork, but he certainly couldn't show that, not to anyone. He was certain that people were aware of both of these things, but he doubted they actually understood. He rose from his desk, pausing in a pensive moment before stepping around it as a servant knocked on the door and entered as soon as he had permission. He quickly gave the woman her hot chocolate, and delivering a mug and a note to the stallion.
Rai skimmed the note snorted under his breath and tossed it on his desk. "All right, Xiven," he gave her an encourage smile. He wished he could sit and chat with the girl, see how she was doing, but alas. He hated to just leap into business, but he had another two meetings this afternoon. "Let's talk about your organization."

Xiven accepted her drink with a smile. She would take a sip after she said what she needed to.
"Okay, for the organization..." she flipped open one of the binders as she spoke. She had no problem getting down to business when someone was buried in enough paperwork to kill a small child. He probably wanted time to relax to. "I did several polls of what people would find useful before asking for volunteers. The choice of staff members was something to help children so..."
She found the next binder. "I created a... youth group of sorts. Basically it's to help with Heart Pride and understanding of weaponry and why a person chooses a specific weapon. I have a list of people who volunteered, and who are interested in working in the future. Hopefully I'll be able to do more demonstrations for the children when I attain my biped form rather than just doing the book teaching."
Feeling like a professor while she watched someone else use weapons was an odd experience. Not the point of this meeting though. "If there's anymore interest in this, I may try to open it to more than just staff and court members families and the close surrounding area."

It was hardly the first time he'd heard rumours of this, but it was the first time he'd gotten such a complete picture of exactly what she had done. It was still impressive, however, and he was well-pleased to hear the creator talking about it. There was no missing that hint of wistfulness, however, one he had once shared with her many years ago.
It was difficult to see the weapons, to learn about them, to learn how to use them and yet not be able to actually use them. It was not something he wanted to inflict upon anyone else. He eyes the young woman thoughtfully, but simply nodded in encouragement towards her explanation.
"How are the kids doing in this program?" he inquired lightly. "Do they seem to like it?" Actually, he already knew the answer to that one; of the pages Ira often sent to him was in the program.

"As far as I can tell the kids enjoy it. They enjoy the combination of explanation and demonstration more than just the plain lectures or plain demonstration. I can't blame them either," She smiled. Honestly if she had been able to learn how to fight this way it would have been a lot more fun.
"All of the children get along with the people instructing, and we haven't really had any problems with bad behavior. Some of the children with biped forms actually participated in some of the demonstrations, which went well. So I'm going to find away to adapt it so that everyone can try to find a weapon without activating weapon proficiency." That should have covered it. At least for the most part. If he had any other questions about who participated she would have to look it up. Several details just felt like alluding her at the moment.
She glanced over at her tea. It had to wait a bit longer.

The Josiggy Marshdweller contemplated her explanation quietly for a moment, taking a long drink from his coffee as he let his mind roam over what she had said thus far. "And those who don't have bipedal form cannot participate?" he asked quietly.
As a child and teenager, he had, of course, been limited by the fact that he had only four hooves, but that had never stopped Elias from pushing the colt to learn weaponry and how to use them even around his 'handicap'. Obviously he'd been unable to pick up things such as swords until that far distant day when he'd finally attained bipedal, but even in horse form his enemies would find him quite the fight with weapons and without.
After hearing her answer to his question, he changed the subject suddenly. "Once you enter the Courts, wot are your plans regarding this organization?"
