Anya echoed his laugh easily, following him carefully and with deeply intent eyes. She didn't get to wander the City freely or explore much when her father or his friends were 'babysitting' her, so this outing was more delightful than the feline would know. A break from work was always wonderful, but Lior positively made the evening.
"I would imagine, but a park is a park and I trust your judgment in saying it's lovely." The avian let out another gentle laugh and drew just a little closer. Flowers were a delight, especially if they were ones she did not get a chance to see often.
Curiosity flared briefly in Anya's eyes, causing the lovely diamond to perk with interest. He was avoiding her question, but his half-answer was somewhat satisfying. Enough to keep her from pushing at very least.
"Does that mean you've no where to stay this evening, Lior?" She prompted lightly as they entered the small park. It was indeed lovely, and this fountain that he mentioned had her intrigued. "The fountain sounds lovely, though. We can sit their and study, if you'd like."

Her laugh really was lovely. Lior wondered briefly if it was her Diamond charm in action or just natural, but it really didn't matter either way. She was pretty, she had a beautiful accent, and she smelled good. He had no objections whatsoever with spending the afternoon showing her around in exchange for a day or two of language lessons to distract him from life.
That was certainly a pointed question on a subject he didn't wish to discuss, though. He smiled, pushing down the edges of sorrow at his painful departure from the palace. "I'll most likely find myself a room at a local inn before searching for more permanent lodgings, or at least something intermediate until a more thorough search can begin." He would have to look for a job as well at that point in order to be able to make a down payment and actually meet rent costs. At least he didn't have to eat huge amounts.
"I think this would be the perfect place." He hopped up on the rim and sat, looking over at her. "I do have a grounding in the language, but it's very basic. I'd be happy to begin whenever you would like to."
((*headtilt* Where do we want to take this thread? I must confess that it's been long enough that my pre-cloak Lior muse is less active than it could be. Might this be a good spot to call it over?))

([nodnod] I'm honestly not sure about where to take this one, lol. My muse for Anya is a lil on-and-off as it is, so I wouldn't mind closing this here.
