Mnem stared after him with vaguely annoyed boredom. Or vaguely bored annoyance. This was so very like him it was nearly laughable; she could almost imagine his cloak billowing majestically in the wind. She wondered if the stallion always tried to make mysterious and semi-dramatic exits; she found herself idly thinking that now would be the perfect moment for him to trip over an inconveniently-located chair and go sprawling, or perhaps walk straight into a waitress carrying a tray full of steaming hot mochas.
Not that it mattered, she thought, as she continued to sip at her cappuccino. She was sure she'd be seeing Shinrai around, whether wandering the streets of the City or elsewhere, whether through coincidence or contrivance. It was just a matter of time. They always seemed to run into each other.
She absently waved a paw, her mind already working on something else. "Enjoy the rest of your evening, hon."
