This fic has been a long time in the making (part II more so than part I, but without this half then part II wouldn't make any sense. XD). Finally got some time to write it up and clean up the second half (which was largely inspired by a dream I had about Seki ).
There may be a part III eventually, depending on how Seki's plotting goes. XD
Author: Vyn
Characters: Seki
Takes Place: Corvistowne & Capital City, after Seki's escape from The Wood
Word Count: 761
Reader's Warning: Contains reference to sex, rape, sadism, and prostitution.
(Abuse Me More - Part I)
For about a year after his return to his family, Seki wanders from one abusive relationship to another. He had a home with Xylia in Capital City, but he couldn't bring himself to stay. He was ashamed to look her in the eyes, to looks his family in the eyes, and preferred the endless shuffling from one man's bed to the next. He'd long forgotten the meaning of self-pride and the sex did its job to obliterate what was left.
He just wanted to feel the sweet release of pain that reaffirmed time and time again that he was still alive.
His first relationship began shortly after his return home.
It had been a happy reunion, or it should have been. Seki divulged a little, that he'd gotten lost in The Wood, but he couldn't bring himself to say the rest. He was ashamed, and his stomach still churned whenever he thought of those awful weeks, months even. For a while everyone was all cuddles and condolences, but as time went on Seki became more and more aware of the looks they gave him. Even Mocha didn't seem to look at him quite right anymore.
He'd changed and everyone knew it.
It didn't help that his weight had dropped like a stone, that he could barely keep food down even when he desperately wanted to eat. He was wasting away and no one knew what to do about it, and underneath it all the awkward tension between he and his family continued. He missed how close they had all been. He missed being happy
To avoid the tension, he took to walking. It was an easy fix, although a poorly constructed one. Returning home meant having to face them, if only for a little bit, and his long absences just perpetuated the situation.
It was on one of these walks that he met him: a handsome Corvie canine named Jovan with a silver tongue and a charming smile that blinded Seki to danger filth lurking in his eyes. He invited Seki out for a drink and Seki followed without a moment's pause. This man was kind, he was paying attention to him, Seki didn't want it to end...even if it meant drinking for the first time. With a non-existant tolerance and an empty stomach, Seki was plastered before he knew it and Jovan was ushering the sloppy feline back to his home.
They fucked like rabbits until Seki blacked out.
Seki woke up, sore and hung-over, to Jovan looming over him. He was talking but Seki could barely absorb anything he said, his incoherence won him a slap and the feline mewled in pain as Jovan took him again, more aggressively this time but with a warning as well. Seki worked for him now, and anything Jovan wanted was law.
Seki had no choice but to submit. Control was safe, familiar, but the abuse was even better.
Within a week Jovan tired of his new catch and quickly put him to work. Seki was passed from one man's bed to the next, nothing more than a wad of money wrapped in a too-skinny package. Seki didn't care, didn't want to care. He just didn't want it to stop, didn't want reality to find him again.
When Jovan moved to the Capital a year later, Seki followed like a loyal shadow. His parents worried but relented when Xylia said she'd keep him with her. For the first few nights Seki tried to stay with her, but he found more and more often that he couldn't meet his half-sister's eyes. In Xylia's eyes Seki saw his shame and it crushed him. He couldn't stay there. Within days he was in Jovan's arms again, drunk and needy, but Jovan merely scoffed and left him in the bar they'd met in.
Seki hadn't thought he could fall any further -- he was wrong.
Jovan's abandonment was the beginning of a downward spiral that turned his life into a haze of alcohol and sex. He kept himself intoxicated to avoid reality and wandered from bed to bed, giving up his body instead of selling it. He just wanted the release, he didn't care about his dignity anymore. This was only reaffirmed time and time again when Jovan returned to fuck him or get a little cash off of him, but Seki was just happy to have him around -- he didn't care what the man did to him when he was there.
