Aurelius continued to blush and be confused, but he cleared his throat to finally speak, "Um...Aurelius." he said, figuring that the heron had forgotten his name. Maybe the bird had a memory problem, but it didn't really matter, the deer didn't mind repeating his name for him. He looked away a moment and looked up the stairs a bit. He was feeling very uncomfortible, not understanding why the stomach butterflys were harrassing him right now. He was here to see his girlfriend. That had to be it...there was no other reason right?
When the heron asked him his question, Aurelius turned back to him, the butterflies acting up again, and he knew that it was something having to do with the heron, whether he liked or understood it or not. He blushed again, "Well...we...met when we were really young. Kids." He took his glass of gin and looked at it a bit. Aurelius wasn't much of a drinker...he actually had never had alcohol before, but he didn't want to be rude. He licked at the clear liquid, and involentarily shuddered. Boy...that tasted horrible! How could the heron be sipping it so casually? Well...he didn't want to be rude. He continued to drink a little of it from time to time as he told him the story. "There was a period of time though, where my parents kept me in the house. It was a hard time for me, but when I was old enough I left the house and we reunited at a tea shop." he blushed and smiled warmly, remembering what came next, but deciding to keep it secret. Suits...it had been amazing...and he loved her so much, he couldn't think about her without smiling. "How did you meet her? How did you guys become roomates?" he asked, sincerely curious. He seemed to be oblivious, but he figured, if Isolde liked him enough to live with him...he was probably a nice guy.

Well the deer was right about that of course. He was trully a nice man to be around, he even considred himself, when sober, a gentalmans gentalmen. He gave the deer a sencire smile and swirled his gin around the glass cup. His question was a touchy subject, how could he tell her the whole story? Or even fib it to the point where she could also answer it somewhat the same?
He took another sip as if considering his word chosing he cleared his throut to speak, "We meet in the Capital, I had just finised up a trip delviering documents to the court, when I happend to stop by a local tavern." he said getting up. He waved for the deer to follow him up the stairs. His story would be short and to the point. "We sat around and talked for a good long time and moved twoards the outside to gaze at the stars. Afterwards we discused her moving in with me, here in the Kahmden Forest. To get away from the noisy jungle called a city. Here where people can just be who they are, and never judged by what they are." he said as he moved to the bedroom that he some times shared with Isolde. He gave the door a rap with his talon.
"Isolde, your gentleman Aurelius is here to be picking ye up." he said gving the male deer a wink, as if telling him some sort of secret. He had seen her in the dress that she decided to wear and the way she combed her fur was absolutly fabulious. He wished that he had the oprotunity to go out with her this night... yet this was their night, not his... he gave a sigh and knew that he was probably going to go back home the next day, than he would be able to squander her for himself. He loved just to be around with her.

Christ, he was taking an awful long time to go get her. She could only imagine what he was saying to Aurelius. She just hoped it was nothing that would horrify her...
Finally though, he knocked on the door and she quickly opened it. "Hi boys" she cooed as she joined them in the hallway. She walked over to Aurelius and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. "Hello Sweetheart"
Things were feeling a little bit awkward for her so she quickly grabbed a shawl and gestured for them follow her downstairs.
"Aurelius and I are going to be out for awhile, so don't wait up Sabe love" she winked.
With any luck, Aurelius wouldn't be bringing her back at all tonight. However, that was a tall order when she didn't even know what he had planned for them. Whatever it was, she bet she would have a great time.

Aurelius left his drink behind, hoping that the Heron might not notice, or at the very least, woudln't be to offended. He was just....not liking the taste of that Gin, and he didn't know how else to deal with the situation.
As they walked up the steps, Aurelius simply nodded, not seeming to get any weird vibes from the Heron's story. It was a reasonible enough story, and he was happy that Isolde was making such kind friends. Besides, it must be miserably living alone, and even if Isolde didn't...it was nice to get into a smaller household then living with a bunch of family. Not that Aurelius had any problems with his, but...well 7 adults under one roof was kinda pushing it. "The forest seems beautiful! I've lived in Capital City my whole life, and I must say, sometimes I also wish to get away from it all." he blushed a bit as the butterflies played in his stomach, though his words were sincere.
He smiled at the heron when he winked at him, jaw dropping slightly when he finally got an eyeful of Isolde. "Isolde! You've outdone yourself! You look absolutely stunning!" he said with a toothy grin, blushing a deep red when his cheek was kissed. He gave her a small peck back and his tail wiggled from side to side. He couldn't wait to take her to go do all the things he was planning.

Well this was getting slightly akward for Sabe... it was about time for this six to get out of here. He didn't need to be around these two when they where doing things like giving each other their small kisses. He gave a sigh and moved back down the stiars somewhat solemly. He looked back from the stair cass and called to them,
"I'm going out to buy some fish from the market and then I be going out for dinner tonight." He said... he didn't want to be around this house for the moment. It seemed that it was getting busyer and busyer each passing day... he just wished that the buck wouldn't suggest for hiself to move in... that would be trully akward.
Sabe knew that Isolde cared more about the buck than she did him. It was daunting. He picked up a glass that was laying on the table and drunk from it, not really caring where it came from, which so happend to be the bucks... The gin did the trick... he set the cup down with the rest and started for the door.

Isolde realized she was being rude by ignoring Sabe and smiled at him. "Alright Sabe darlin, i don't know when i'll be back but I hope you have a nice night". She hugged him and turned back to Aurelius.
She was totally oblivious to Sabe's thoughts, she may have been more understanding had he said something but really there was nothing she could do now. Besides, Sabe promised they wouldn't be serious so why should she be worried about what he would say. She was at least respectful enough not to go out with different men every night. This was her first real date with another man since she moved here. All the other nights had mostly belonged to work and Sabe.
"Okay Aurelius love, let's get going too then. I'm excited to hear where we're going tonight". He had been so mysterious and honestly it was killing her not to know.

He watched the two say goodbye to eachother with a smile. He didn't mean to hurt anyone, he didn't even know he was doing it, they just seemed to be having a nice and short goodbye, and Aurelius was clouded by his happiness to see Isolde, and for the things that he had planned for them. Though he had to admit that the heron did seem a bit upset as he headed down the stairs. He gave a concerned nod, but that was all he could do before the bird was gone...and he wasn't quite sure if he should chase him and find out what was wrong, even though...that was what the butterflies were telling him to do. But his mind was soon on Isolde again as she turned to face him, his face glowing happily with her own. "I've got one or two things planned for sure..." he said, his grin toothy, "But I figure we will play it by ear a bit...what do you say to that?" sometimes being spontantious was the best way...at least...the two had always had fun in the past when they were spontanious. He talked with her down the stairs, and outside to the cart, and was pleased with her reaction to it. It had cost him a pretty penny, but nothing was to expencive if it made the deer feline happy. He nuzzled her head and helped her into the cart before getting in himself. Today felt like it was just starting...
