Making as quick a job of it as he could, Lior pulled the lever of the medical shower with his teeth and endured the chilly water as it soaked into his fur, washing away the still-fresh blood. He tried to brush and scrub at it with one of his paws, making it come out a little faster, and eventually stopped the flow of water to just sit and groom himself more properly with his tongue. It brushed the wet fur back into place and took out the worst of the water, shedding it in droplets all over the tile floor. Thankfully there was a drain by the shower. That was smart planning.
He returned to the main room wetter but decidedly cleaner, smiling politely at all three of the adults. "I wish you the best of luck in your recovery," he murmured to Seki, ducking his head. "I'll be sure to pass on your regards to Papa." With a more formal bow to the doctor and Ophelia, he took his leave of the scene.
Well. That would be an interesting story to tell his sister, if nothing else. He hoped that Seki would be alright. All of that stuff the doctor talked about... it was terrifying, and he didn't even understand it all.
