Kazifel watched Femi depart. With a small sigh he slowly made his way up the stairs. Taking a bath would probably be better. He honestly didn't think he could comfortably sleep the way he was. After a long process of setting things up he took a nice long bath by himself. All he could really do was think about all the things to come, and all the things that had happened.
It was terribly depressing really. Shaking it off he finally finished in the bathroom and made his way to the bedroom. Shifting to his biped form he was careful when he slipped into the bed. He didn't want to wake Femi or anything.
When morning came Kazifel didn't automatically get up. He had been drained from waking up so early and staying up so late before. For once he wasn't up and ready to make breakfast for the pair of them.

Femi woke up before Kazifel for once, or at least woke while he was still in the bed, which was rather nice for her. It gave her a chance to reach over and snuggle into his fur for a while before they had to get up and do anything. It was incredibly pleasant and he smelled good, which reminded her that she would have to take a bath before they did anything or went anywhere or anything like that.
As predicted, the day was mostly finishing touches for the move-in. She went through and cleaned up some of the mess they'd made unpacking, boxes and dust from the old house and all of that being piled in a corner to be disposed of later. Well, the boxes would be stored for later use, probably in Kazifel's workshop because that was where he'd put the others. She wasn't quite sure why, but she was sure he had a reason.

((OOC: X3 oh wow, that's an awesome prize. Thank you Nat <3 ))
After waking up far later than he intended to the wolf went to work making breakfast and doing the finishing touches around the house. They still had a lot of work after the fact, but buying furniture had to wait a while.
He gladly took the boxes from Femi, and explained that if he was going to start his "hobby" again then he would probably need ways to pack the dolls for people. Even if a box was too big, as long as he had some cardboard he could properly make a box for the doll. He just didn't want to waste perfectly good materials.
After everything was said and done it was late afternoon. It wasn't quite enough time for dinner and he had forgotten about fixing lunch for himself. After a bit of searching he found Femi in her doll room. "Think you have everything organized?"

Femi carefully arranged some of the spare clothes she'd bought and made for her dolls in a small box which she then put down onto the lowest level of a shelf, all except for one which she now realized would look perfect on Heatherine if she could just manage to get her old dress off. There'd been a problem with the clasp before, if she remembered correctly...
The doll was fully redressed and sitting in her lap, her fingers combing through its mane when Kazifel opened the door. She looked up and smiled, carefully moving the sparrow doll onto a tiny tea table not far away before she stood and stretched. "Yes, I think so! Everyone has a place and I've settled them all where they need to be. I don't need to do anything else to organize them, just general care and maintenance. How about you? Did you get everything done in your workshop?"
She walked over and nosed at his chin, giggling and petting the dark black 'K' on his chest.

He gave her a lick on the nose before actually speaking. "My workshop is set up the best it can be. It looks so terribly empty without materials. That'll be fixed when I have time though." He said cheerfully. With a small sigh he wrapped his arms around Femi. The children were going to be back tomorrow, weren't they? Then all the hard work of taking care of children would pop up again.
Oh well, such was life. At least he had a family to take care of and love. He just hoped everything went smoothly as they grew up. Nothing was perfect, but all he could wish for was a better family life than he had.
"Do we have anything left to do for the day?" He asked her as he loosened his grip on her. He smiled down at her and waited for a response. They could do plenty of things before dinner it was just up to her.

Settled comfortably in his arms was where Femi wanted to be and she relaxed happily, wondering if that was a pleased sigh or a worried sigh or just an 'I'm here' sigh coming from Kazifel. It could be any or all of the above, knowing him. The impending return of the children wasn't really weighing on her mind because it wasn't immediate yet. Tomorrow she would feel it, and possibly late that night. She had already started to miss them, though, so it would be nice to have them back again for her.
She felt his arms loosen a little bit and looked up, more than pleased to see that smile. So maybe it had been one of his better sighs. That was a nice thought. "Well, I don't think we have anything left that we have to do today. All of my dolls are settled, I'm guessing your workshop is how it needs to be, and we've already done a little cleaning. Besides eating in a bit, nothing else is coming to mind. Which is nice. So I guess the question is, what do we want to do?" This was accompanied by a tail wrapping around his waist. Not for the first time, she was glad to have the appendage. It could be remarkably fun.

"I think you know exactly what I want to do," he said with a wicked grin worthy of the big bad wolf. "It really is just a matter of were, isn't it?"
His tail was working on it's own free will once again. It was wagging a mile a minute at the prospect that was being set up in front of him. He could ignore everything else if there was the slightest prospect of fun involved. The wolf was more than ready to sweep Femi off her feet and take her to where she wanted.
He waited though, tail going a mile a minute. "Do you still need to take a bath today? I was so busy working I really can't remember if you decided to wait until after we were finished with everything or not." Either way it could give them an excuse to have a bit of fun in the bathroom.

The 'where' was the tricky bit, Femi had to agree. There were plenty of places for them to go, but which did they want to use? Which hadn't they used yet? And then he made a wonderful suggestion.
"We haven't claimed the bathtub yet, have we?" she asked with a laugh. As if his nose didn't tell him that she hadn't taken a bath yet! What did she smell like besides him? Wolf-smell was strong, something she hadn't entirely realized until she had a wolf all to herself and got to experience it firsthand.
And the bath was... fun. Even better with the nice big tub they had now. It didn't quite match up with the stream she liked to play in, but now that they were further away from it, going there for every summer bath would just be a hassle. They could use their own water. In the winter was when it would really get to shine. She was just glad that they'd been able to use her parents' house so much during that time, even if she hadn't really been in a condition to enjoy anything.
