"The Bog," he said without a moment's hesitation. He had been prepared to lie since he had figured out a good excuse for his coloration. "I'm a Bog, Torquehelm mix with albinism. At least that's what everyone speculates. My mother is a Torque and my Father is from the Bog"

Lies. Lies. They were the only thing that kept people from screaming at him. Explaining that he was a pure Torque was impossible. Then people saw him in the mirror and things got complicated. Honestly he should have broke every mirror that he passed by for prosperity, but of course it was every reflective surface that he passed gave him away.

Of course it's not like he could do anything about it. That's just the way things were, after all. He shrugged it off metaphorically and looked at the mouse again with a smile. "What's your job?"

And then it clicked.

This boy was from the court of Hearts. There where not that many bog dwellers running around. Though from what he had heard the Queen and the King were both females.... He brushed it off. Father and mother were terms that could be throw around in various ways and no one would be the wiser.

The mouse took a long drink of tea before sipping answering the boy's question. "I'm a bodyguard most of the time. I've had a few odd jobs, like a house sitter and a babysitter, but most of the time I am a body guard."

Ichigo stirred his tea idly. "Would a boy related to a Queen of Hearts and King of hearts like you really be out on his own without protection? I imagine your mother would be furious at you for leaving your guardian's side to talk to a stuffy little Mid-range mouse."

Xander's eyes widened as he looked at the mouse. A bodyguard? Was this really the guy, Strawberry, that his Grandpa had mentioned before? If it was it certainly was a small world.

He squeaked though when he had been caught red handed. He hadn't realized that telling the mouse what his parents were, he was telling him who they were. Even if he didn't know them by name he knew them by description. They were a strange pair... not as strange as most of the court but still.

"I won't tell if you won't tell," Xander said with a weak smile. His eyes were wide like a kitten's as he looked up at the Mid-Ranger.

And then something caught out of the corner of his eye. There was something purple and long that had passed by the window, something akin to the movement of hair. He took a long swig of his tea before setting the empty cup on the table. "Thank you very much for treating me to tea, I have to go now though! I just saw my Grandmother!"

He hopped off the table and ran out the door without a second thought.
