[[Sorry about the slow reply. ^^]]
Pathos couldn't help it, and snorted a bit in laughter as his brother apologized.. or attempted to. He'd give him points for the sincerity, and perhaps it was just from being around him for far too long, but his wording was just funny.
As Peder began giving him interesting looks, he blinked at him.. and blinked at Heilyn, and then blinked at his brother again. Was he missing something? Did this turn into a competition of some sort when he wasn't paying attention? He was translating Peder's look as such, but was confused as to what they were fighting over.. There was enough beer, enough beds.. Heilyn? Surely he wasn't--? Oh dear.
On top of it, Heilyn was bringing the sarcastic sweetness back again. To avoid having to say something, he grabbed his beer between his paws and leaned back a bit and drank in silence, absently staring at the ceiling with what he hoped was a sufficiently distracted expression. Though.. nothing ever stopped Peder when he felt like bothering someone.

[OOC: Don't you worry about a thing dear, everyone gets busy. You just reply when you can <3]
That sneaky vixen, she thought she had me fooled. What she didn't realize was that he was just toying with her too. Peder was bored and needed something to do, teasing Heilyn and Pathos would do for now. He loved to rib at his brother, Pathos just left himself so open to Peder's comments; it was all in fun though, Peder really loved his brother.
"Not at all, Love... here, have another drink on us." Peder said in a particularly seductive tone. He wondered how far would be too far to take this but eventually he would figure it out. "Wot you mean you don't get no attention? I woulda figure you'd get tons; a pretty little thing like yourself..."
Turning back to Pathos, he poked him in the side. "Ay, wot you laughin for anyway? You haven't said much, that must mean you fancy the girl?" Peder jabbed him in the side with his elbow with every question. "Aw now brother, don't go turnin away like that. You're just tryin to get out of the situation all clean-like, huh? Yea, I knew it." Peder knew that if he just kept talkin to.. well, himself really; Pathos would eventually have to answer his prods.

((OOC: ...there was a slow reply? xD I hadn't even noticed it being slow.))
Dawwww~ Heilyn wanted to laugh as Pathos very suddenly began drinking and appearing distracted. She kept forgetting that her aura was a little... forceful to these people. That comment would've worked wonders on any Raembler, but probably seemed a bit 'off' to these people. Didn't matter. These boys were full of surprises and she had nothing better to do today. Well, no she did, but those could wait for after the five minutes it took to loose interest in this game.
"Oh, thank you!" she said as she was offered another drink, lightening up on the delicacy a bit to sound a little more sincere, but kept a demeanor much more playful and girly than she actually was. Damned Hearts always messing with heads, "I'm flattered." It was all she could really think to say. She just watched Peder elbow his brother. She would just egg them on when she saw they were starting to back down. They didn't seem like the type to start a real fight, which was a shame. However, her massive ego self esteem had taken a bit of a blow in the past couple weeks of being here. if she could even get them to bicker a little, that would help her immensely.

[[You aren't looking at how long it's been taking me to reply, are you. XD]]
Pathos innocently continued drinking his beer, though he did refrain from rocking back on the hind legs like he wanted to. That's what he usually did when he was trying to avoid speaking.. unfortunately it usually resulted in him falling off the chair, and he'd rather not embarrass himself just yet.
The feline couldn't help but laugh under his breath at Peder and Heilyn--it was just funny to listen to them, even if they weren't saying anything particularly amusing. Perhaps it was just his brother trying to be flirtatious.. yes, that might be it.
As he began getting jabbed in the side, he paused in order to raise an eyebrow at his brother. "I'm laughing at your antics, that's what." Instead of jabbing him back, he merely drew the claws out of one paw and began idly poking his brother with them. It wasn't hard enough to hurt.. yet. "Fancy her? Oh no bro, I'm leaving that alll to you." He grinned his loopy grin once more, giving it partially to Heilyn as well.
"Now, hun, don't be discouraged by his apparant idiocy, he's really quite.. uh.. not brilliant.. definitely not ingelligent.. oh! I've got it, he's sweet underneath all that fur. Yeah, that." Pathos nodded as if he'd just found the answer to all the world's problems.. and then leaned towards Heilyn in case Peder felt like throwing a punch instead of jabs.

Peder just laughed at his brother. "Sweet? Yes, I'm quite sweet. I could show you how sweet I am... that is, if you'd let me." He winked, "How 'bout it love, you wanna give it a go?" He didn't particularly mean anything by his words but he was having fun and at the moment that was all that mattered. "You'd have to bring a date for my brother though, can't be leavin him out of the fun. Wot you think Pathos, you wanna take some lovely ladies out this evening?" Before he got a reply, Peder took a swig of his drink and he had it decided. "There, it's settled. We're all going for a night out on the town, paint the town red kind of thing, you see? Come on love, it'll be fun."
He was well aware Heilyn knew he was joking; she seemed to be playing with him just as much as he was playing with her.

[It's like, what, two days or something? That's really not so bad P: This is sounding like a lot of fun, but unfortunately, due to Heilyn's terrible attitude, she wouldn't go off with them, so now I'm introducing Liv, who will be taking over the part as the lady. ] Heilyn's right ear twitched. She could tell he wasn't being serious, but she still didn't even like the thought. They seemed like alright guys, they were amusing and generally seemed harmless, but misanthropes didn't "paint the town red" with people they didn't know. In fact, she still hadn't touched the drinks she was offered. A badger walked in at that moment. From her coloring and markings, she was obviously from the Sorgaire Range. She had a gentle smile and was humming quietly to herself. She wasn't gorgeous, but she definitely wasn't ugly. She sat at the bar on the side of Heilyn opposite side of Peder and Pathos. She ordered a fairly weak drink. It had more juice than alcohol, and pretty sweet. She wasn't much of a drinker. Her nose twitched at the smell of the woman next to her, but she said nothing. Bars were the places for rather strange people... strange, though. She looked so very well-kept, why did she smell so strangely? And what was up with those... Staring is rude she reminded herself, turning away. Heilyn looked over at the girl. Perfect.Heilyn leapt off her stool backwards and landed perfectly on all fours. For an odd, sudden movement, she'd made it quite casual. "I'm afraid I'll have to decline your offer. I have" better "other things to do this evening. But I'm sure two charming gentlemen such as yourselves will have no problem finding two lovely ladies." she turned and left. Liv watched her. What an odd woman...

Cecilia entered the bar shortly after Heilyn left, never seeing the bog-dweller but definitely catching a wiff of that lingering odor. She sneezed her displeasure before pushing open the door and gliding gracefully into the bar. A smile brightened her muzzle as her presence was immediately acknowledged by a wave of murmurs, catcalls, and wolf whistles. Every step, every flick of her tail, it was all calculated to make her sparkle the most; to bring all attention directly onto her. She was the sparkling diamond, the diamond in the rough. Every man's desire and every woman's greatest envy. It was her delight in life. Her sweeping gaze searching the crowd, seeking someone to catch her eye...or something, lower. And there it was. Or, rather, there they were. Two very handsome Selkie boys. That smile grew all the larger and she all but danced closer before taking a seat at the bar with the others. She could've taken her bipedal form and stayed with the other bipeds but for now she would stay in the 'lower' section with all the boys desperate for a sparkling jewel's attention. She didn't order a drink yet, drinks would be coming her way 'on the house' in mere moments. Cecilia would have her pick of the bar as usual.

Pathos started to laugh but immediately covered it with a coughing fit. He even hit his chest as if he'd swallowed his beer wrong, just for emphasis. Of course, all of this was done without making eye contact.
"I am always up for taking some ladies out on the town. Besides, we haven't had enough fun lately, now have we Peder?"
Of course, Heilyn decided at that moment that they weren't good enough for her.. or perhaps she just found them annoying, either way, she bid them adieu and left, without drinking her beer on top of it. So Pathos shrugged and grabbed what remained for himself and his brother. "Want s'more beer?"
Just as the coyote left, however, a just as attractive badger walked up. Today clearly was the day for interesting ladies to come in. Pathos raised an eyebrow at what she was drinking.. which looked to be just as meek as his mock-midranger beer. Still, Pathos was never one to not introduce himself to a pretty Sorgaire, and this one didn't smell, either. "Hello there. What brings you to the bar in the middle of the day?"
He purposefully turned to face her, placing Peder out of the conversation. Pfft, his brother could find his own nice lady, after he bungled it with Heilyn. (It was all Peder's fault, of course.)
Vaguely Pathos noticed a bright purple figure coming in after the badger, but he was to busy grinning at Liv to notice that she'd come to sit with them as well.

Peder watched Heilyn walk out of the bar, twas a shame; he really wanted to get her to loosen up. She seemed the uptight type and those kind of people always confused Peder. As she left, two other young ladies came in. One a cute little badger and the other... well she was more than just cute. The other was an attractive deer and she had definitely caught Peder's attention.
"Barkeep, send a drink over to the lady, get her anything she wants and tell her it's on me." He gestured over to the pretty deer who had come in. He turned to Pathos but it had seem his interest had been peaked by cute badger; he figured he could leave him be for now, Peder couldn't do everything for Pathos. He grabbed the beer Pathos had offered and walked over to talk to the deer.
"Hello there love, my name's Peder. What might yours be?" He flashed her his best hundred dollar smile, hoping she wouldn't blow him off like the last girl he tried to get to know.

[...Vyn: Cecilia and Heilyn have to meet sometime O: ]
Liv turned her attention to the Selkie boy sitting next to her.
"Oh, just getting something to drink before going out again," she indicated, nodding at it, "I'm Liv! It's nice to meet you." She introduced herself in a very friendly manner and a smile. She liked meeting new people. "What about you?"
She loved his coat. The very long fur on his legs made him look very graceful, and she adored the blue and purple of the rings. And he just seemed like a genuinely nice person, nothing wrong with introducing oneself, right?
