He was extremely appreciative of the distraction that the demon became, and of the time it gave him to scoot himself back a bit. He lifted up his good arm and started at his collar, just bellow the cravat, and pulled downward ... undoing his shirt in the fastest way possible. He'd definitely have to get Iphis to make him a new one after this ...
He shifted down into his animal form and plucked the rest of the shirt off, it would only get in the way now. And now, after everything, and if the other queen happened to pay it any mind, he'd finally be able to see the red Q that rested on his chest as well. Oh he was pissed, so very, very pissed. He was going to get that dog and make him pay for everything, make him pay for all the hurt. He activated his flight ability, not wanting to use his hind legs all that much until he had to, and made his move whilst the man was still desperately trying to fend off the shadow beast.
The beast continued it's merciless attacks, hell bent on making the other lowlander as weak as possible while it was here. If it did feel any of the jabs it would be hard to tell as it's howls only increased before it's 'form' dissipated back into nothing to be replaced by a rather angry, flying weasel-rat.
He dropped the flight ability when he was close enough and came at the canine with an open maw, wanting nothing more then to sink all of his tiny, needle sharp fangs into the Heart Queen's good arm and slash at him with the talons that still rested on the toes of his good front leg. He wanted more then just revenge... he wanted this man's life. Even if it meant putting himself in the line of direct harm once more.
Powerful Magical Ability: When activated, he can fly for thirty minutes. Winged Diamonds can use this ability for effortless, perfectly controlled flight.

What the bloody $$?! The freakin' rodent had this in his back pocket the whole time and he only now decided to use it? His eyes darted to the other Card before returning to the thing that was still frigging mauling his right arm. He caught a hint of red on the man's chest, but he had to put his attention on the thing attacking him. Stabbing wasn't bloody doing anything! He quickly called up his pain blocking ability, pleased that it actually did something now.
He needed to get away from the thing because he wasn't certain how to combat it. Just when he was about to sprint away-- for all the good he thought it would actually do-- when his right arm was left alone and suddenly his left arm was under attack.
Zeus gave an angry yip as teeth sank into the forearm he lifted up to block the attack. He tried to twist his wrist and catch Mo's face with his blade. He also leaned over to sink his teeth into the back of the rodent's neck.

He bit down as hard as he could, trying to sink his teeth in as far as they would go. He was rewarded with a mouthful of fur covered flesh. Had he been thinking about it, biting another Lowlander would have revolted him ... but as it was, he didn't really care. He was on a mission and he needed to succeed, needed the satisfaction of knowing that he'd killed another Queen... a Queen of Hearts no less!
His fur bristled when he felt teeth sink into him once more, but it was just pain on top of pain, on top of a blinding rage now. He wasn't done yet, he still had more tricks... he hated to have to do this but... he really had no choice in the matter now. Especially as he saw the tip of that dagger starting to come closer and closer to the side of his face the more the canine tried to aim. He was so very close now and, instead of simply slashing wildly at the canine, he thrust his paw forward as hard as he could, aiming for the soft flesh between the canine's rib cage and hip bone, aiming to sink those claws into him.
And, if he felt any sort of satisfaction from this, he'd instantly activate the ability he'd had in mind since he'd thrown himself at the canine. He'd been concentrating on those glass talons and now they shattered outward violently, the noise that accompanied their explosion far louder then it should have been.
Moderate Ability: He is now able to cause glass constructs (ie: windows, vases, figurines) to explode without warning, once per month. The glass will all explode outward with a rather large amount of force and the sound will be painful to all except the caster. He is also able to shatter glass weapons that aren't magical, but magical glass may give him some trouble or even...backfire...

His bite wasn't doing anything, his dagger was the only chance. But before he could seriously push it, he felt a burning pain lacerate his side, digging through his flesh and upwards as though the freakin' pispard was trying to rip out his ribs. He snapped at the rodent's ear, but he didn't know if he caught it.
There was an explosion, his insides shredded when bits of the glass talons ripped through his insides. The bits didn't have to go far to hit vital targets. Zeus gasped, eyes unfocusing as his legs collapsed beneath him.
This was far, far worse than anything he had ever expected. It hurt. Horribly. Terribly. He needed to get up, but he knew he was going to die here. *$&%, what were the Hellhounds going to do without him? He couldn't breathe, it was like fire. Zeus was on the ground, but he wasn't aware, his senses were overwhelmed with pain.

That dagger had edged it's way close enough to nick his cheek, which was far too close for comfort ... but that looked as if it was as far at the canine could twist his wrist and hand. He was rather pleased when he felt the pressure on his neck loosen and disappear, the snap at his ear though.... that caught him off guard and he instinctively flipped his head away, either pulling the dog's arm with it or pulling his fangs through the flesh, the canine's teeth piercing and tearing the thin, pointed ear easily. It wasn't a horrible wound... except for the fact that it bled like crazy.
There was also a few pinpoints of stabbing in his own fingertips as a few shards of glass made their way into them, backlash from his own attack but... he could live with that, and he had his own built in removal system as well. He growled low in his throat as he activated the second part of his glass ability, calling the little glass shards from his finger tips and the canine's insides, calling them back out to swirl around his body in a rather pretty display of crimson tinged, somewhat sparkly, sharp, pointy shards that, in the right light, would probably resemble red glitter... what with the size of most of the shards.
Amazing Boost: Once a moth he is now also able to cause constructs (ie: windows, vases, figurines, doors, and parts of walls) made of wood as well as glass to explode outward with a rather large amount of force and the sound will be painful to all except the caster. He is also able to shatter wooden weapons that aren't magical, but magical wood (lol XD) may give him some trouble or even...backfire... Using this ability can also now give him the chance to cause the exploding of glass or wood shards to swirl into a cyclone (up to seven feet high and three feet wide) of sharp swirling danger. This can be moved, slowly, around his person, but can be penetrated with fiery or water based attacks, which will tear the connection to it from his mind and cause the cyclone to collapse.

Zeus couldn't gasp, couldn't scream, couldn't whimper. His eyes widened at the new rain of pain as the glass shot pack out of his body. Red dots danced before his eyes, as his own blood pitter-pattered back down on him like some gore-ridden rainstorm. His left lung was collapsed, and the right seemed to have been nicked by the glass as well. It felt like his chest was whistling, but perhaps that was simply the fact that his whole body now had more holes than most of Trot's thought patterns.
His mouth gaped open as he tried to draw in air. He thought he saw his father standing just beyond the red-tinted glittering storm and his eyes went towards the vision of the Lowlander Dobie rather than focusing on his opponent. Alekto looked good dead. Zeus could only hope he would look half as well as his father.
It was over. Their bloody, stupid fight was over, but the rodent wasn't stopping. F* you, the Doberman mouthed, unable to produce the energy or air to say it out loud. He was going home with his father. Stupid friggin' rat wannabe couldn't touch him there. His eyes slipped closed as though of their own accord.
"It's about time," he heard. "You deserved far worse than this."

He was more then pleased when no words came out of the Heart Queen's mouth, in fact the other Queen was opening and closing his mouth in a manner that reminded the weasel-rat of a fish out of water and under any other circumstance it would have been rather funny. today, however, he was more then a little aware of the fact that he had blood running freely down the side of his face, part pf his mane having been soaking and clumped together, more running down his left arm and still a little from his lower regions.... damn that canine.
It was.... fairly cold, something he hadn't noticed until now but he couldn't stop and worry over that now, he had to stop the blood flow on his arm. He released his grip on the other Queen and moved toward the pretty much shredded remains of his suit with a rather embarrassing limp and worked on tying it, he used his mouth and his good paw to tie some of the fabric tightly around the limb, over the wound.
With that said and done he peered over at the other lowlander for a moment before reactivating his flight ability to float off in the general direction of someone he knew around here that ... didn't ask questions. He wasn't going to make it to the restaurant to meet his cute little otter tonight, but he had a feeling the boy wouldn't hold it against him. All he wanted was to go curl up and feel sorry for himself with the familiar presence of a certain Torquehelm to make a fuss over him. And he didn't even float very far off the ground either, his left paw hanging down and dragging the set of glass talons he still possessed along the cement and cobblestones, making odd, awful noises the whole time. Not quite nails on a chalk board... but close.
It was up to the fates now if he actually made it to his destination or if he simply flopped down in a gutter after his flight ability was spent. He had no idea where he was really, he just knew he was deliriously happy when the rather welcome darkness consumed his sight and his mind, the last conscious thoughts he had were of Otter and how he'd certainly linger at his bedside until he was all better ...
