Mephitisia had decided that she wanted to be a part of the Court of Hearts from the moment she had stepped into the rose garden and had encountered The Queen and his Sultana and Bernard had not disappointed her expectation of the Court in the slightest. His thoughts were flattering, though she was as flawless about keeping her pleasure to herself as she had been from the beginning.
A righteous murderess? She liked that.
Her smirk grew just a little bit larger as she felt the change in rank as she rose from a 10 to a Jack and received the key from Bernard. "Thank you, Your Highness." There was a slight hiss to the end of 'Highness' but it was, if at all, a pleased sort of sound more than anything else. "I think I will settle in without trouble."
She followed him to the door, pausing briefly as he spoke up once more. "It was good to meet you as well, Your Highness Bernard. I will check into this miss Heilyn, then." She dipped her head to him once more before stepping smoothly from the room. In the hall she twirled the golden key, admiring the ruby for a moment before laughing briefly. She'd finally made it back and she was yet another step closer to her goal.
Now, Bernard had suggested speaking with a miss Heilyn? The name sounded familiar but no face immediately came with it, she would just have to ask around or find the woman herself.
