Eldy stood nearby, half watching as the two of them jostled for a position at the window. The two of them were continuing on in an absolutely ridiculous manner, and it was all she could do to not throw up her paws and be through of the situation. But she'd promised to help, and she wasn't going to go back on her word. Besides, this could prove to be mildly interesting. She shrugged in response to Fenzik's sad comment, not really caring that much. They were just Aces, after all. Though she'd hate to think of poor fluffy stuck in a cage so small, it wasn't as if most of them were as smart as real Cards.
Colin made an angry noise in the back of his throat. "You're exactly right!" he said in a voice that wasn't at all quiet enough for Eldy's taste. "That's no way to treat a fellow Card, and this just clinches it. We simply must do something about that horrible treatment!" He nodded to Fenzik, and peered back into the window, a frown on his beak. He was careful not to crowd Fenzik too much, as he was fond of the Rat, but not so fond that he wished to have the Corvie in his personal bubble.
Eldy's ear flicked and she frowned. "I'm going to keep watch, okay?" she hissed quietly, and slunk back into the shadows around the house.
