One piece of advice I have to give to you; take this time to tell her Goodbye and anything else you want to tell her. It's the one thing you'll regret not doing if you don't.

I've been through something similar with my Mom when I was 12, so I know the pain that is in store for you. It won't be easy. You may not feel like it, but what will help is surrounding yourself with the people you love and who love you.

Do not be afraid to grieve; it is something you must do.
