Someone listening to him ramble about his theories without sidling away? Nifty! Also rather novel. Jak tried not to upset people at all costs, so when he noticed their obvious discomfort he usually obligingly stopped talking about a subject... unless they hid their feelings well enough that he couldn't tell.
"They very well could be the rejects at the bottom of the magical bucket. I'd never thought about it like that before. Maybe they just get pitched out with the trash and - whoops! - there goes somebody finding it and having their ears grow long or their hands turn into flippers or their fur fall out. You never know. That's what makes it the best game. If you're going to hunt in garbage, though, the stuff in the Outer Bazaar is always best. For one thing, you don't have people chasing you out of it for 'disturbing the peace', or whatever it is they have an issue with that day. Garbage is garbage and nobody cares."
He almost forgot the bagels and cream cheese sitting next to him in the heat of the conversation, grin still manic, but the smells of the bakery suddenly registered once more in his brain and he twitched. "Speaking of the Outer Bazaar, I think I'd better go and make a quick delivery before I continue dumpster diving. Don't want the dairy to go bad." He giggled and poked at the bag, which smelled delightful.

Dyspar practically shivered at what this guy was saying. Oh yes, quite creepy, but then again Corvies were sometimes a touch creepy in their own right with their strange obsessions.
"Oh.. right." Dyspar did what he could to smile, not wanting to show his disappointment that the guy was leaving. After all, that would be weird, wouldn't it? It was just some person he bumped into; it seemed odd to feel a need to act.. clingy. Then again, wouldn't anyone feel that way if they had run into something of a kindred spirit?
"I don't want to keep you from that, most certainly." A delivery? To whom? To where? His ears perked forward curiously, though he kept his questions to himself. No, it wouldn't do to be rude, to pry.
"I'm Dyspar, by the way." He blurted out before the joker in disguise could turn away. He flushed a bit.

Jak didn't notice anything behind the smile, too preoccupied by thoughts of his brother enjoying the cream cheese surprise happily. He would make his brother happy with the delivery, he'd made this stranger happy with his rambling on conspiracy theories, and he'd made the baker happy with a large order. What a good day!
When Dyspar gave his name, the 'Corvie' stared at him blankly for a moment before figuring out that oh, yeah, he was supposed to give a name in return. He always forgot about names. He always had to give out fake ones anyway. This body's name was... "Uhh, Kodi," he said, momentarily blank expression clearing into a wide-lipped grin withing seconds. "The Outer Bazaar is home, so you can usually find me lurking or stalking or skipping around there if you ever really need to find me for some reason. Nice chat, huh?"
At which point he hopped up from the chair, grabbed the bag, flicked his dangler in a sort of farewell salute, and headed out.
