In response to his further accusations, she narrowed her eyes dangerously, not sure whether to believe him or not. He seemed like the type to not admit weakness easily, and admitting to being forced to -rape- someone sounded like quite the weakness. The flush that rose to the man's face did not go unnoticed. Also...while Eldy would like to say she could never imagine her mother doing such a thing...well, Peaches was a very...odd person. She would be the first to admit that. So she just ignored the uncomfortable subject.
In the end, though, she was in too bad a mood and his total distrust of her rubbed her the wrong way. Of course you found my mom, when she -wanted- you to find her, dumbass, Eldy thought, but aloud she only hissed, seeing red as blood filled her vision and getting an odd, viscious satisfaction from it...maybe there was a little of her Father in her, though that thought would have frightened Eldy a bit.
The sensation was almost dizzying...in fact, she was suddenly feeling very woozy, and her back was going numb, and...OH HEY there were teeth coming right for her! The cat wrenched herself violently, trying to evade him and get out of his arms...making her stomach churn more, and her heavy iron binding swung around dangerously. She felt pain in her ear, small pinpricks and a burning ripping sensation, and instantly blocked it without a second thought, ignoring the hot trickling sensation as well.
"I already SAID I wouldn't tell your stupid origin story, not that I even KNOW the whole thing," she growled, really just wanting to go lie down. She was feeling worse again with each passing moment, and the adrenaline was only making her head pound hard.

Her wild thrashing meant that his teeth didn't close around her neck, which, in retrospect, was almost certainly a good thing. They did scissor around flesh, and he tasted blood, both of which helped to sooth his raging temper. When the binding swung, it tangled around his legs and he let out a surprised shout as he lost his balance and began to fall, bringing Eldy down with him in a tangled mess of limbs and paws and blood. Something was jarred in his gut and he took in a ragged breath, glad to find that he still could. The rib he'd broken before was worrying, as was the deep stomach wound he'd received, but neither seemed to be acting up too terribly.
He pulled off of her ear, tasting the shred of flesh that came away with it and spitting it out, his mouth ringed red with blood, propping himself up with his arms before rolling off of her. He knew better than anyone the worst damage that a cat could to to him would be from the kicking of the back legs, so he wanted to get away from her as fast as he could.
Apocalypse dragged himself back to his feet and whirled as fast as he could, hoping to catch her by surprise as he brought his foot down atop her, intending to place it lightly on her throat to encourage her to move minimally. Whether or not he managed didn't matter, because he'd begin speaking anyway. "Good. Now swear. Swear on your honor as a Heart. Swear on it, because so help me, if anyone other than Bernard attempts to ask me about my change, I will track down you and take off the other ear and an eye." then, a wide and wicked smile went across his face. "If I can't find you, I suppose your mother will be a suitable stand-in until you decide to take responsibility, hm?"
Hah. See how she liked that. He'd never actually attempt to injure Peaches, but with the limited education Eldy had about him, she might think he did.

Eldy let out an angry yowl, aware of a falling sensation and not much else...she thrashed blindly, claws all out, her world a red haze and everything seemed to be happening in slow motion. She didn't feel any pain, thanks to her ability, though it would be wearing off soon enough. As soon as she felt herself on the ground, she attempted to roll over and inch away simultaneously, which mainly resulted in her ending up on her back, a short distance away from where she had been on her back a moment before. This had the result that Pale's foot came down on her chest instead of her throat, which still made her gasp a bit for breath as she glared up at him.
Part of her wanted to tell his secret now, just out of spite, but the girl had a bit more common sense than that. "I swear on my honor as a Heart," she spat venomously, tail swishing, claws digging into the ground. "That I won't tell anyone." Her eyes narrowed further, the pounding in her head getting worse. "And that if you hurt my mother, you -will- regret it." It was no idle threat. After all, she knew where he slept. And she had her Heart weapon ability, so she could probably kill someone if she really wanted to. She'd never felt such rage before. It was almost...invigorating in a way.

Chest, neck, it really didn't matter. She was down, Apocalypse was up, and a cruel smile curved at his lips. This really was doing wonders for his mood, especially now that he was no longer being scratched at. The fury on the feline's face just helped elate him. It certainly made him feel as if he was successful in making someone feel either as bad as or worse than he did, which in turn made him feel much less pathetic.
His logic was certainly flawed, but he wasn't going to think about it. He was just going to accept the good feelings he was getting from this and walk home in a much better mood than before.
His pupil narrowed for a brief moment, then expanded with pleasure at the oath and the threats. Her oath as a Heart... Little Six, he only hoped that would be enough. All he could think was that if that wasn't enough to keep her stupid little mouth shut, the threats of harm to her mother would be enough to act as glue. "If I hurt your mother it's only because you've done something you'll regret, so consider her safe," he said in an oddly cheerful tone. If something did happen between himself and Peaches... Well, he felt confident that he'd be able to kill a little kitten, should it become necessary.
"Good," Apocalypse said, a quiet purr surfacing from him after a moment.

Eldy hissed at him again, ears going back, well, an ear and what was left of the other one, not that she noticed it yet. Her purple eyes narrowed, her only response to what she saw as another veiled threat. She didn't really trust him, not after everything he said, and he didn't seem to trust her anyway. Plus, he was obviously keeping secrets, and she intended to find out the whole story even if she would keep her word to never tell anyone. Oh yes, Eldryia was no fool...after all, this man was a King, she a six, and her mother a Jack...and she would keep her word. She may have only been a six, but she still had a healthy amount of pride in her Suit.
She couldn't resist taking a swipe at the leg that was holding her down, though, with one clawed appendage. Of course, this was the time her pain ability decided to wear off...and she let out a loud hiss of pain as her ear throbbed. Ugh...it wasn't enough that she was sick, now she had to deal with this, too? Stupid Pale. Stupid former scythe turned Card through some sort of weirdness she couldn't worry about right now. Her only satisfaction was that someone had roughed him up better than he'd done on her, and that she'd given him a few wounds in return.

Apocalypse really just wanted to go home, at this point. The joy from his dominance of the other woman was beginning to fade just in time for the reality of his situation to begin to set in fully. He'd just ripped Xiven's sister's ear off. He didn't really know what the Queen's relationship with her sister was, but he knew that this was most likely a bad situation, at least for him, and he felt himself sag slightly. He wanted to wipe his damn hands clean of the girl, especially now that he'd pretty well guaranteed her silence in regards to the matter. That was all he needed.
He was just about to lift his foot off of her and let her up when her claws lashed out. They wouldn't do any serious damage, thanks to his pants and boots, but she'd manage to hook at least one claw in his milk-white flesh, tearing through it. He let out an enraged shout, and without thinking, would kick.
First, he wanted to get her claws out of his skin. Second, he wanted to hurt her. "What the hell!" the man snarled, red creeping into his vision as he staggered back, teeth bared. "Do you want me to kill you or something?!" No. No. He had to stop. He had to calm down. He couldn't kill her. He'd already messed up badly as it was.

Eldy's other claws dug into the ground, bracing herself against the throbbing pain of her ear...she barely even noticed the glancing kick to her chin, in comparison...though feeling an odd taste in her mouth, she spat out blood. Great. Wonderful. Trying to ignore the pain, she quickly backed up a bit more and righted herself when let up. She instinctively went into a crouch, glaring at him though it was half-hearted at this point, since the pain and the illness and everything else was taking its toll.
"That's not on my list of plans, no," she replied evenly, though talking made the side of her face hurt. Ugh. At least he was backing up. And she HAD felt her claws peirce something...though the satisfaction of that was short-lived, as the taste and smell of blood was making her stomach churn in protest. Normally it wouldn't have bothered her...after all, she'd used to spend time in the dungeons watching her Father. Stupid illness.
"Just...go away," she finally muttered, not sure what else to say but being very much -done- with him right now. Now, instead of resting, she probably had to find a freaking doctor to tend to where her ear used to be (or she assumed it was there no longer from all the pain in that area) so that it wouldn't get infected. Argh. What a wonderful freaking 'vacation' so far this was turning out to be...

The feeling of his foot connecting with the feline's jaw was a satisfactory one, and he leapt back away from her as soon as she was no longer connected to his leg. He skidded slightly, a side-effect of his balance not quite being perfect yet. He was recovering far more slowly than he would have liked, but that wasn't the main issue in his mind. Not right now. Right now, he was more focused on getting out of the area before he did something that he'd really regret.
Like biting his Queen's sister's ear off. Hah. It was too late for that, but he could at least stop now.
Part of him wanted to linger, though, and make sure that Eldy was okay. Beyond the injuries he'd inflicted on her, she didn't seem to be doing very well, and he didn't want to face an angry sister if she actually did die. Before he could consider that too much further, she was mumbling for him to leave. His hands clenched into tight fists and he sucked in a slow breath through his teeth, eyes closing. "Fine. I'm gone." he said softly, turning to stalk away from her, his shoulders rounded.
He could already feel the regret. The similarity to the removal of Eldy's ear and the bite he'd given Xiven... They were similar. Too similar for him to feel entirely comfortable with himself.

Eldy crouched still, looking wounded...her ears tried to draw back against her skull, which in hindsight was not the best idea, as it only made her head throb more. Ugh. It was then that she decided it might be a good idea to strengthen her pathetic pain ability. Five minutes was certainly not long enough, and even with being so good at hiding, she could not expect to never have to fight, as a spy. Sometimes, people just needed to get taken out. A slight hiss escaped her as he hesitated, but then he turned to leave. Eldy watched him warily.
She hadn't been to the palace in...had it really been over a month? Hence her not knowing about Pale's new...status, and she also hadn't seen what he'd done to her sister. The cat waited until he was too far to suddenly turn and attack again. Call her paranoid, but she really didn't trust him after what he'd done. She felt he'd rather overreacted.
With another hiss of pain, Eldryia got wearily to her feet and headed towards the Capital, feeling confident she'd make it to a doctor before she passed out. She could only hope she'd be able to avoid the King when she returned to the Court.
