Rhiannon's tail wagged a cheerful beat, the movement one that she couldn't hide. Of course, she didn't know that Mephit could see her thoughts, and so giving the woman outward signal of her delight seemed completely reasonable. Because, yes, she was eager to work alongside the deer, very much so, especially when the woman seemed to read her mind in terms of additions to the spit. "Excellent," she breathed, a toothy grin spreading across her muzzle.

Oh, she had no idea. The scythe was likely far too close to the coyote-hybrid's heart, but she wasn't going to complain. He was a welcome companion, someone who she trusted with her heart. After all, in that regard, they were one in the same.

As if he could hear that thought as clearly as Mephit would be able to, Apocalypse rested a hand on his summoner's head, long fingers scratching through her yellow-and-purple hair. He grinned a little crookedly when the other woman addressed him by his full name, standing just a little bit taller. He shook her hand with the one not currently engaged in scratching Rhi's ears, his grip firm. "Then you have the same idea of a scythe as my mistress," he said with a grin. He could tell that there was a compliment there. After all, scythes were sexy, so it was like she was calling him sexy.

Flawless logic.

Rhiannon's lip twitched with amusement as she struggled to keep from smirking outright. After all, she knew exactly what he was thinking. He really was an entertaining creature.

Mephit was quite pleased with Rhi's excitement. It was good to see someone as interested in her secondary craft as she was.

When she was done sharing introductions with the amusingly arrogant weapon, Mephit would have to invite Rhi downstairs so that they could begin experimenting. Until then, she focused on the scythe and returned his firm grip. His fondness with Rhi did not go unnoticed but, as of what she knew of Marie, it was not at all unusual. After all, what bond could be closer than the one with the creature that shares your head?

Mephit did not relish the possibility of ever having a creature that could share her thoughts and feelings so intimately. "I would suppose that is true." The doe smirked briefly, catching little more of the scythe's inner thoughts than that he believed she was calling him sexy. This was far from true, but she would not disrupt his logic. A hint of amusement flickered briefly into her eyes before extinguishing when she returned to Rhi.

"Would you like to head downstairs and get to work?"

As the shake ended, Apocalypse let his hand drop idly at his side for a moment, then hooked his finger in the belt loop of his pants. He swore sometime that those were the only purpose to wearing the damn things - a place to rest your hands. He gave the floor up to Rhiannon, so to speak, realizing that she was eager to get started. In a way, he was as well. He loved battle, loved seeing his summoner grow in power, and could clearly see that this woman would be a massive step in having that happen.

He grinned rather toothily at Mephitista, then glanced at Rhiannon. "No objections here. I hope you don't mind if I... observe."

Rhiannon's ears flicked forward and she nodded to the Doe. She was ready, yes, and eager and willing. She was certain that pain could be expected, but the end result would be worth whatever she had to go through. "No sense in waiting,[/b]" she remarked. "After all, I appreciate the time you're giving us. No sense in keeping you away from work for too long, is there?[/b]" The coyote hybrid knew, of course, what it was the woman did. She could appreciate the work ethic of torture and had heard how much Mephitista enjoyed her work.

When the Doe lead the way downstairs, weapon and woman followed closely after, the Bog Dweller's tail wagging slowly with the increasing excitement. This would be a lovely experience in the end, she was certain.
