Iggy say back and let most of what was happening pass him by with an attentive ear. To help calm Bernard he gave the male a smile at his comment.

The whole aspect of being married was still new to the male and he had been alone long enough to still feel strange about having someone around. That was not to say that he did not enjoy it. He had also been raised with the expectation being that one put duty over personal wants. So if this was something that she felt was something that she was called to do, well personal feelings that he might have aside, he would be proud and support her.

The matter of time it took till she could reach Queen was something different. Having been born and having no intention of changing his rank he was not really sure how long or just what it would take to do so.

Well until then he would just have to support her and keep Se out of trouble and blood.

Bernard nodded slowly. This didn't bode well but...it was a solution... And that was what the Court needed.

"All right. All right..." He murmured, gesturing for the Kahmden mix Feline to set the tea tray down on the edge of the desk. "Millie, could you please take this down to the front office and ask them to send it to Karvosa? He'll have it written up formally for us, I'm sure. Thank you, Drostan." He aimed the last bit at the Ace who had scuttled back into the room, but he'd vanished from sight almost at once. Ah, well. Skittish Aces, he was lucky the poor thing had gotten ts head on straight enough to give the kitchens their request. It spoke a lot of Dre that she had the Ace so well trained.

"Very well, Dre. I'll make sure that everyone gets the news, and that they're ready for what's going on. Ignatius, I'm trusting you to keep people safe from Se. I don't want to have the palace guard put him on lock down...but one incident will be enough for me to reconsider."

He nodded again as he poured himself some tea. Damn...Millie had forgotten to bring him a tumbler of vodka...and he'd needed that too. Ah well, later, always later. He gave the other two a few more small quick instructions and offered them some tea. They would be off within five minutes or so, to try and find Se and explain. Bernard watched them closely.

He was worried, but not dead. People were gone, but not forever.
