The girl sat straight and tall, utterly unflinching, as Donnie made her assessment. It was hard to keep from grinning, though, and while the situation wasn't perfect... It would certainly do, and the more she thought about it, the more it made sense. She would do much better if she went through with these plans, to be sure...

When Donnie finished speaking, Raina did smile.

"That sounds like wonderful plan to me, Your Majesty. I would be happy to obtain a letter from my family... If I remember correctly, I heard you made quite an impression on my adopted mother. Her Highness Heilyn?" she could remember hearing something about her mother going to the late Queen's funeral and there meeting Donnie. That was probably a good thing. As much as she loved her father, she couldn't imagine the thick-skulled beast of a man would exactly thrill the wolverine.

"Back at the Court of Hearts, I have a tutor assigned to me. I'm sure I could speak to my parents about seeing if we could either have him come here with me or find a different tutor for my stay here, if that's acceptable to you." the girl stood, straightening out her elegant skirts with a quick pat of them, and then positively beamed up at the taller human. "Thank you, Your Majesty." she said, extending a hand for a shake.

The girl's smile was simply lovely and Donnie couldn't help but temper her smirk into a genuine smile in return. For all that she was young, her enthusiasm and familiarity with Courts gave her significant advantages, especially with a job in the palace as her goal. There was a lot going on in the Spades Court and she couldn't see throwing Raina into the lion's den until she was no longer a fledgling and could fly to safety under her own power.

"Ye~es, now that you mention it... I think I remember your adopted mother. She also happens to be the brother of my secretary. I take it you're related." Her droll smile spoke volumes. That woman had one hell of a large family. And she'd thought her aunt in the Yarrow branched out! "You can have her send it to Mikael. I know he enjoys receiving mail from home. And I have no objections with arranging for the room and board of a tutor, provided that your parents are willing to pay his or her tuition."

She stood, matching the girl's gesture, and reached out to shake her much smaller hand. "My pleasure, Raina. When you have things smoothed out with the parentals, I'll look forward to your return."
