Seeing the Morganberry that was approaching them she gave him a pleasant smile. "Good day, sir." She greeted him.
At his explanation on the Ace that her and Levi had been starring at she tilted her head to the side in consideration. Housebroken was a really good thing. She did not want to have to be the one to train a pet to be housebroken. It was one of the reasons that she did not want to get a Bander. They simply were too messy.
"Winnie, huh?" She mumbled to herself. That was a pretty name, just like the pretty before her. "How much is he going for?" She asked, raising an eyebrow at the price. Glancing over to Levi she asked, "What do you think? Should we get him or keep looking?"
She could afford the price, her papa had been generous but it would mean that she could not treat the two of them to ice cream.

Levi glanced over at the Morganberry, trying to decide if the other two interested were simply a bid to get the children to buy. He'd watched his father in negotiations before and he was shrewd for one of his age. On the other hand, he didn't actually want to be here; Acantha had simply dragged him along.
He eyed the Ace again and gave a small shrug. "I dunno, Acantha. It seems awfully meek. You might have a hard time getting it to do wot you want it to." He tilted his head thoughtfully, as though it really didn't matter to him one way or another. At least that part wasn't really acting. "I think that price is a little steep, but if he's willing to drop it a little, it'd probably be fine."
That little bit of encouragement was the extent of his interest in the business. He hoped it would work but, even if it didn't, he wouldn't be surprised if Acantha bought the Ace anyway.

Winnie swallowed hard as the flame-horse stayed close to him, trying not to shiver. Fire scared him, as it should any sane being, and he didn't like being so close to an open blaze like the horse's mane. He daren't move, though, or the shopkeeper would make sure he regretted it. Skinny pets were 'prettier' sometimes.
Pursing his lips in thought, the Morganberry eyed the pair of them. The other two interested parties hadn't been seen for a few hours, but the one had seemed exceptionally taken with the little thing. Was it worth lowering the price for a quick sale? Sometimes... but probably not in this case. The canine was unusual and pretty enough to fetch full price eventually, and he didn't eat that much, not like a young horse or anything. "I'll give you the leash and collar free of charge, but I'm afraid that the price is firm. Male Yarrows aren't exactly an everyday sale, and those fairy wings are worth the price. I doubt anybody else could boast a pet quite like this one." Would they still be interested...?

Acantha tilted her head to the side as she considered the options before her. As always it would come to the decision to 'take it or leave it'. How she hated those. Then again, if there were other options then she probably would not be able to make any at all. Ah! Her life was so difficult sometimes.
Shifting her head slightly she let the rings chime softly. What the seller said was true, they were very unlikely to come across another Ace just like this one. At least not in the same day and Acantha did not want to wait.
Turning her attention back to the Morganberry, "Alright. I will take him," she decided with a nod of her head and another chime. "Levi, you will be in charge of getting us ice cream." She added with a smile to him over her shoulder.
"What color leashes do you have?" She asked the man. It would need to be color coordinated.

Well, that was the extent of his input for the situation. So he returned his attention to leaning towards the canine Ace and then away again. He didn't usually misjudge anymore. . . Well, he burned people a lot less often than he used to. He wondered if he should point out to Acantha that her new would-be pet was very fearful, but, then again, he doubted it would dissuade the girl. She was. . . very much her own person.
It didn't occur to Levi that he might be tormenting the Ace; he considered himself the really nice one out of his immediate siblings. Maybe even out of all his brothers and sisters, half-siblings included.
He did not, however, have any interest at all in what colour leash Acantha would choose for her new pet. He flicked his tail in the first sign of impatience. He was ready to leave.

The feline couldn't hide his smile of satisfaction at the sale, though he kept it very polite and professional. Sometimes it was just worth it to hold out for more money. He wasn't as profit-driven as that item shoppe haggler by far, but he made a good living off of Aces and didn't plan on changing that anytime soon. Not while there were rich little things like this Highlander looking to purchase them, at any rate.
"I currently have standard brown and black leather, sturdy and showy, along with one pair of dyed white. My collection of leashes is running a bit short at the moment, unfortunately. There was another canine who sold a few days ago that accidentally... decimated them." With its mouth. Obnoxious little mutt.
Winnie's head lowered a little bit as the sale was made, still leaning away from the fire but now also eying the Highland youth more closely. He was young enough himself, but not that young. Was he about to become some spoiled brat's plaything? Probably. He wilted a little at the thought, and then twitched away from the flames again as 'Levi' moved. Definitely a twitchy pup.
As soon as Acantha chose her set, the Morganberry slid them onto the Ace and nudged him off of the table, handing the end of the leash to the girl ceremoniously. "He's all yours, my dear."

She tilted her head to the side as she considered the small amount of options that were before her. Measuring which color would be best she gave a nod of her head before announcing, "I will go with the brown one, if you please."
Handing over the money she waited till the feline returned the favor and handed her the leash for the canine. Yay! She now had her very own puppy and was currently ignoring anything thought that either, or both, of her parents might be shocked by it. Smiling her thanks to the male, she tugged lightly on the leash. "Come on Winnie, lets go!"
Heading away from the Market area, she glanced toward Levi. "So, you want to go get some ice cream?" She asked him. After all she still had some change left over that would buy them something small and tasty.
It was turning out to be a good day and she was pleased with the out come thus far.
((Lets call it closed and done <3 Thankies Jenn!))
