Se lost interest in the Lowlander now that he had what he came for. He had no reason to not do as his eldest brother told him to, so he headed out the door and looked around with something that could almost be mistaken as interest as he tried to locate Venka and Vishne without making any sort of real interest. No such luck. Of course. He glowered before tucking the dagger into the collar he'd brought for this sole purpose. Well, actually, Ira had made him bring it. It was useful, though, and that's all that mattered.
Se stepped down from the cottage and followed the footprints he spotted in the yard.
Niklaus sent the teenager a sidelong glance. "Think you're clever, huh, boy?" He named a price, though; he couldn't argue that the dagger and the angry winged hybrid deserved each other.

Ira gave yet another sprightly laugh, perhaps made to incense the Lowlander further, but he didn't push the topic, instead turning his attention to something far more interesting. Negotiations. He wasn't going to pay even what the dagger was actually worth and the price quoted was beyond that.
A low growl rumbled from the Doberman, though the sneer remained pointedly painted across his features. "Looking to run now, oh, ho, that's rich." He was so sick of the attitude floating around. These kids deserved to be taken down a peg or two. Especially the girl. She was trying to live up to her obvious Yarrow heritage, but that was a load of bull.
The bipedal moved quickly to cut off their path, ears going back threateningly. Perhaps a good scare and a few scratches would teach her to respect her elders. "I don't remember saying you could go."

Aged Arrow Feather: This feather looks like it may once have belonged to a pigeon and attached to an arrow. It crackles a little and every now and then, glows. When touched by an SD it will discharge one power before becoming a normal feather again.

When the doberman suddenly interceded on her planned path of escaping she quickly cowered back, ears and tail going to submissive positions - much to her inner horror. She never backed down! Then again the Lowlander, as much as she wanted to hate admitting it, did indeed have quite the upper hand in the matter. Dying . . .well being killed was not something she had on her to do list for the day.
"Uh . . . Oh" She said, glancing around in hopes of finding a way out of the situation.
Surly her brothers should be almost done, she thought crossly. If they came out now and were able to distract this canine she was so out of her, wither or not her brother followed.
By this time Trot had calmed down enough except for a small whimper here and there as he settled down for a nap. Naps always made things better.

Vishne whined. Oh, why did that nasty thing have to get in their way! They just wanted to leave. Go home and never think about this place ever again. This horrid, horrid place filled with icky, icky people.
(Though one day, this would provide an excellent basis from which to write magnificent poetry that would surely rock the world and ensure his place in the history books. Provided he didn't die of fright long before then.)
The big stupid thing was making Venka have to try new tactics, too, hunching back like she was afraid or something--which was of course ridiculous--which was very clever on her part. Vishne bet that she would be a lot better at pretending to be scared than he was, even when he was the one who was actually scared.
"Please?" he squeaked. It was barely audible. He just wanted to get home.

Ira was quick to haggle down the price, and dumped the money on the man before heading out after his brother.
Se found his missing siblings and two Lowlanders all at once. His ears went back at the sight and he snorted in disgust. What a load of bull. He headed towards them but only because that's the direction the road went. He was done here.
Zeus' ear twitched and he half-turned, dagger still at the ready at the sound of hooves on the road. The strange child on the road, however, seemed to ignore him and despite the yellow hides that two of the kids shared, Zeus assumed they weren't related because of the fact that the boy ignored their existence. Therefore he turned his attention back to the girl.
And then there were strange coloured vapours and Zeus sneezed as he breathed some of them in. He suddenly felt cheerier, but he had no idea why and was about to ignore it when suddenly his body turned and began to walk away. He tried to fight it, but he couldn't, and the next thing he knew, he was in Niklaus' house, staring at the old man, but unable to speak or move further.
Ira wagged his tail at the cowering Venka and Vishne. "Time to go~!" he announced cheerfully and trotted stiff-legged after Se.
