The yellow equine/canine mix didn't immediately give any indication that he heard his eldest brother's disagreement. He was still pacing, wings twitching slightly against his sides as though he was trying to dislodge fleas or some other small pest. Still, after about thirty seconds of this, he turned to face the equine and stare with those strange, pupilless green eyes.
"Wot. Was. That?" There was a threat behind the words, something promising pain or further unpleasantness if he did not get his way. The cannibal was rarely actually cowed by these shows of bravado, but Ira did know wot was behind them now.
Not that Se really thought about his little 'indiscretion' as Ira still referred to it; all he remember was that something had changed between them and he was going to the Lowlands and Ira was coming with him. Well, or not. Se didn't actually care one way or another.

Ira's ears went back at Se's words, but he met the odd gaze without flinching. It was, after all, absolutely ludicrous that the other teenager wanted to go to the Lowlands; there was nothing of use there at all.
"There's no reason to go there," he replied calmly and logically. Sometimes he could talk Se out of things simply by being persistent enough; it wasn't that the logic was really important, it just made him feel better. The truly important part was to always sound calm and to vaguely sound like he had a reason behind wotever he was saying. "Anything you could want we could get from somewhere else and we could get a better quality item, likely for just a little bit more money. Therefore, we should just go to the Bazaar and talk with Cauter."
Hopefully this would persuade his volatile brother to remain here.

Se's ears went backwards devilishly and he narrowed his gaze at the equine even as he bared pointed teeth. "No, you misunderstand me, Ira. This isn't up for discussion. We're going." Though which 'we' he meant wasn't entirely clear. Sometimes the we meant the voices he thought were in his head, or sometimes it meant him and Ignasi, whom he still wasn't certain was a real person or not. A bull mouse. Too strange.
He turned and headed for the door, ignoring whether or not his eldest brother would follow him. It didn't matter wot Ira decided, Se had already made the decision. He was going to the Lowlands, and he would find the perfect item, and then he would kill his father. It was going to be perfectly executed and it would serve that rat *## *#@($^# right for however much he suffered. He chortled deep under his breath.

Ira watched Se walk off, and now his tail was lashing from side to side as he contemplated his next best option. He couldn't very well let Se go wander off into the Lowlands alone, and, for once, the hybrid was determined to go. Ira gave a much put-upon sigh and headed after the winged creature. Se didn't even glance at him as he fell behind the other teenager.
However, Ira did turn when the twins suddenly came out of the apartment as well, and Vishne was sniffling loudly. Ira fought the desire to bite the canine and force him to toughen up. After so many years of dealing with being Venka's especial favourite, it was no wonder V was such a baby.
Still. . . "Wot are you two up to?" the equine asked affably, pretending there had been no dissension between him and their youngest sibling. There could be none to the outside world; to enter the Real World, they would need a united front.

At her mothers kind parting words she gave a grin, replying “Yes mother, we shall try our hardest. Come V.” she added before she led the way outside.
With ease she picked up on the path that would lead them towards one of the many main gates to the Capital, heading towards the one that would lead them to the North West – towards the Lowlands.
She was caught off guard a little when Ira suddenly spoke to them even though she had noticed in passing that him and Se had made an exit out of the apartment before them. She was careful not to show him that he had caught her off guard so, after all she tried not to over judge just how psycho he was. It had never crossed her mind to put it past him to try and eat one of her limbs. Turning to face him she gave a smirk.
“Well Vishne here is running away. I am coming along to make sure that he actually manages the task this time.”

Vishne looked at his brothers like a lame, mewling kitten being approached by a hungry jackal. Oh damn and double damn, he did not want them to know where they were going, didn't want to risk the chance of either of them joining. Se was malignantly and criminally insane and also the spawn of Satan (though he didn't know whether that made Mom or Dad the devil. He supposed they could both share the title and rule their demonic kingdom as one entity of dread malice.) If he weren't so terrified he might have been angry at his twin for divulging the information, and one day he planned on letting her know how very upset she had made him.
At present, he needed to get Ira and Se to go away and never ever come back.
He tried to tell them to sod off. He squeaked instead.
Triple damn.

Se rolled his eyes at his twin siblings; it would be difficult for anyone to show less interest in his family than the yellow hybrid was doing right that moment. "Who cares?" he retorted flatly, then began to walk off without another word. Well, not another word directed at his siblings; he said quite a lot under his breath and very little of it was flattering. Actually, none of it was flattering. It wasn't clear if this diatribe was supposed to be direct at someone, but Ira's ears tilted towards the boy.
Se began to walk off, not caring if his siblings followed or not. He was heading towards the same gate the twins had been, though he didn't notice their path and, again, didn't care a lick wot the two annoying little brats did with their time and energy. He always had more important things to do than concern himself with them.

Despite Se's disinterest, Ira was exceedingly interested in wot the twins were doing now. He was still hoping to distract the other boy. "Well, well," their eldest brother said softly, turning lavender eyes on the Yarrow Gardens canine. "That's very interesting."
Vishne peeped at him and Ira chuckled, a sound that sounded eerily like their father's. "And just where are you running away to?" he asked in a false tone of concern. Not that he wasn't almost the tiniest bit concerned; almost, sort of. Really Venka could take care of Vishne and often did, though why she would ally herself with wot was probably the weakest link of their whole family was beyond the cannibal. V could be cute, but he was mostly useless. Thrown out onto the street to survive on his own, V would be able to starve himself in five minutes. He was more hopeless than Helena, which was fairly astounding.

At her brother’s squeak she sent him a glare over her shoulder. Seriously if he was only going to make a fool of himself why did he not just keep his mouth shut? One would think that after all these years that he would have learnt that tidbit by now. Honestly.
Turning back to face her brother she simply arched an eyebrow at Se, not bothering to comment or be offended by his lack of caring. Se was definitely an interesting person, and coming from their family that was saying a lot.
She gave a small shrug to Ira before saying, “Vishne decided to try out the Lowlands this time. Something about getting back at Daddy for not loving him enough, and Mommy for not caring, and blah, blah, blah, whiny-cakes." She said with a small wave of her hoof, pushing the matter aside as if it was nothing of major business.
