Pulled his cloak tightly around his form and curled his tail around himself as well. It was a small dose of comfort, but it was comfort none the less. He fiddled with the feathered tip of his tail for awhile as he tried to relax and keep his mind off of all the awful things the young avian had filled his head with. Funny how someone half his age at least could handle themselves in a much more.... put together manner. He sighed lightly and dropped his tail back down and did the most comforting thing he could think of; activate that lovely cloak ability of his and spend the rest of the night as a waiting shadow. Of course that decision had been prompted by the sound of movement in the wood; imaginary or not he wasn't sure... but he didn't want to find out the hard way.

It was one of the longest nights of his life but the power finally flickered out and he was himself again... and quite happy to see the morning light peeking through the treetops here and there. He activated his Club ability so he could stay awake until he got out of here at the very least and started off in the direction he'd been instructed to. He paused for a moment and peered back at the tower.... he felt kind of bad. The youth had been so kind to him and he didn't have any way of paying back that kindness.

Well ... he'd just have ot keep his face memorized and if he ever ran into him again.... then he could return the kindness.
