Someone calling his beautiful home 'backwater' made Alphonse bristle in the worst way, fur floofing out a little and wings mantling around him. He loved his home! Most people who lived in the Wood seemed to love their home or they just wouldn't stay. "Echeh! It's Outsiders who fester in their colorful swill," he hissed, fangs growing slightly longer in agitation as he pulled back his lips to reveal more of their gleaming length. When riled, he could make them look extremely long.
The sudden addition of sunlight to his line of vision made him hiss in pain and fall back slightly, bringing one wing-arm up to shield his eyes from the onslaught. The sunlight wasn't directly hitting him from out there, but he was a nocturnal creature. His eyes weren't made for comfort in the bright daylight, which this most certainly counted as. When the pain stopped stinging and pricking at his tear ducts, he drew the covering away and squinted at the bird.
"You and your realm are filthy, nasty creatures, messy with color," he hissed in an even more hostile voice.

Sabe was slightly thrown off by his long fangs... just imagining what they could do to his flesh if they were attached... and yet, he really didn't care. It would only mean that he was close enough for his talons. Which he has more of those than he.
He looked over the white creature slightly before continuing, with a smug smile on his face. "You know... I didn't really mean to hurt your feelings there... why are you crying?" he said as he started to walk away from the door starting to circle the bat like creature. For some reason... he just felt in the mood beat something to a bloody pulp... or at least try to.
He waited for a second, "Color is what we all are. Even the trees sing out with their greens and browns, and yet... poor little Alphy here was over looked by nature and is devoid of all color. It must feel really bad to have the world shun you."

Those were exactly the kinds of taunts that Thyme used to throw his way back when they were kids! The Highland wolf had never liked him, and now this Outsider was using the same stupid, nasty word games to make him feel like a child again. He hated it! And now he hated this man.
The circling made his tail twitch and poof, tucking closer to his bipedal body as he opened his entire mouth, rather than just pulling back his gums, to bare the razor-sharp molars as well. His mouth was chock full of pointy bits. "The trees are covered in dirt and bugs. So are you. I am pure Tulgey. I am something to be proud of. I shun the world!"
As his muscles bunched up to spring, the human made a disgusted noise and stepped next to him, putting a hand down on the squirrel-bat's shoulder hard enough to make him spring a foot into the air in surprise. "Alright children, that's enough," he said in an annoyed tone of voice. "Alphonse, if you're going to irritate Outsiders, you can at least have the decency to do so out of my home. As you can't leave at this time of day, cool it. Master Sabe, I would expect a touch more professionalism and maturity out of you. If the pair of you have something to say to each other in anything but words, do so after nightfall."

Sabe was ready for him as he arched his long fingers tipped with nails waiting for the pounce. He had completely forgotten where he was or what he was doing until he saw the human once again.
He stopped imminently. He was completely disgusted with himself. He would have never done this before. He was ashamed, and it showed...
"My apologies sir... I let my temper get the better of me." he said as he straitened his feathers... they were a mess. He sighed looking as if nothing had happened in the brief time that they had stood their calling each other names. He gave a cough and started to walk towards the door.
He stopped when thinking about the words of the man. He turned back to the white squirrel.
"If you do so wish to finish this little spat, then you will be able to find me at the nearest sleeping establishment." he said with a nasty look in his eyes.
The heron was mad, disgruntle, and down right ready to fight the nearest thing. He had lost more than 80% of his clients, his woman, and his life. He really didn't mind what he was doing here. It would look as if his business was going down the drain anyways.
