((OOC: So... later if someone wants to jump in to save me from myself, feel free. This is mostly just a thread to get Sage to Villa so she can learn to be a singer.)) She wanted to go to Villa for the longest time. She wanted to learn how to sing. She wanted to be famous. However, any place other than the Wood was Scary. She was afraid. But she couldn't give up before starting. So many people had told her that she had a beautiful voice, so why waste it? That's why Rosemary had dragged her out of Tulgey. Literally and metaphorically. Now that she was in the realm she wasn't sure what to do with herself. Maybe this was a bad idea. Rosemary rushed into things head first. They didn't even have a hotel to stay in for the night. They had a few places to look at for education but she wasn't sure if they would accept her application. She had no formal education besides her father and she had to audition after the interviews if her application was accepted. "Is this really a good idea?"

Rosemary pranced along the streets. She was happy and cheerful. Her sister was going to become a grand singer! It was just a matter of time before someone realized her talent. If by just looking at her they could see her ability to sing then this would be a cinch. Her ears twitched at her sister's comment as she glanced around for a proper inn. "Of course it is, Sage! You've always wanted to come to Villa to be a singer, so this is the right path to take. We just need to submit your applications and wait for response. This place has two schools to start with."She paused when she saw a rather nice looking inn. "Aha! That looks like a fine place to sleep. Girly enough for you and ungirly enough for me." Rosemary said with a sing song voice. They entered the building, her sister close behind her.

Sage refrained from rolling her eyes at her sister. Of the siblings she may have been the most physically normal but she was the strangest. Some of the things that came out of her mouth were just amazing.
The inn was a nice and cozy sort of place. It was decorated with a variety of trinkets, and there was a nice little fireplace crackling in the corner. This seemed comfortable enough. But it wasn't home. She couldn't be sure of people.
Had she been this nervous when she took that trip with Rose to the capital a few years back? Maybe it was just the fact that she was nervous about applying to school?
Or was it that she was nervous about people accepting her? She wasn't from this region. What if they doubted her because of that? She readjusted her kimono and hair sticks. She took deep breath and watched as Rosemary approached the counter.

Rosemary had no fear. But that was simply because it was her. Plenty of people were afraid of Tulgey, or hated it for no reason she could discern. She just took it with a grain of salt.
"Hello, I would like to book a room for two for a three night stay," she said in a singsong voice. Rosemary looked the inn keeper up and down. It was a pretty sort of human, with a good array of feathers in his hair. They weren't particularly thrilled by her bluntness and and sudden appearance, but they gave her a kind smile as they flipped through the book in front of them.
"Room 20 on the second floor is free," he said as he pulled a key off of a decorated rack. "I hope you enjoy your stay here in Villa en Miir."
Rosemary smiled. "Thanks! Just wish my sister luck, she's a talented singer looking to be more talented!"

"Oh?" asked the man with a smile. "She looks like she was born to sing."
Sage blushed. "T-thank you. I'm not really all that good, yet. That's why I'm terribly nervous about applying."
"I'm sure you'll do fine," said the man with a soft smile.
Her blush grew deeper as she nodded another Thank you. She really wasn't good with this people thing, but she would have to get better if she wanted to be a singer for her profession right? She glanced at her sister curiously. How was she able to be so sociable so easily.
Maybe she got it from their grandparents or something. That would make a lot of sense. She obviously didn't get it from Mom or Dad. But that wasn't here or there she had to get over her own fears.
Tomorrow she would have to go and hand in those applications by herself.

Rosemary grabbed the key's with her tongue, causing the man to jump back slightly. She wiggled her eyebrows before throwing the key's at Sage. "Let's get going. You have to get your rest, Sis!"
If they didn't look similar it would be hard to believe they were siblings, are would it be stereotypical not to assume that complete opposite were related? Rosemary briefly pondered over the paradox before letting it drop completely.
When they came to the room it was a nice little place. Well decorated. Flowers and rather pretty things. An inn was an inn regardless of where you were. Rosemary flopped on the bed closest to the door and yawned.
"Tomorrow's a big day. I'm going to go explore the town early, so good luck to you." Rosemary said as she held back a second yawn. The squirrel wolf wrapped her tail around herself, ignoring the world.

Sage sighed. Her sister was a handful most of the time. The wolf-squirrel took it with a grain of salt as she wandered over to her own bed. Tomorrow was going to be a big day, and she should get some sleep, right?
---
"You want me to do the interview now?" Sage asked, her voice breaking in a small squeak. "But I don't have anything ready. I thought you were supposed to call me back for the interview and audition if my application made it though."
The woman smiled at the girl. "No, we preform the interview right now, and then we call you back for the audition."
Sage flushed. She was going to murder Rosemary for giving her the wrong information. The girl shifted uncomfortably as she looked at the female instructor with a smile. "I suppose the interview is right now?"
"It's in the office. I'll go in and check to see if the Director is ready."

Rosemary trotted around the town. And found that it was the most boring place she had ever had the chance to visit. A frown graced her face as she stood in front of a bar door.
"This is made of fail."
You could cause a bit of trouble.
"My sister is counting on me not to."
Oh come on. It'd be fun!
"N--" Rosemary cut herself off as she looked around. What? WHAT? There was no one around! Who was she talking to? Last time she checked she didn't have voices in her head! All she had was that awkward feeling that--oh.
Well, that could be another reason why Joe didn't want them touching the swords. Great job, Rosemary.
Hey. While your at it, do you want to give me a name? And... where's my brother anyway? Hellooooo. Anyone home?
"Er... just hold on a bit?"

Fifteen minutes seemed like hell for the squirrel wolf as she waited, readjusting her clothing and hair out of habit. Finally the door opened an the woman ushered her.
Sage could feel her heart pounding in her chest. This was going to be the most difficult thing in the entire world. At least she had some more confidence thanks to her wings.
The man looked up from his papers with a cordial smile, making a note of her rank and region with a quick glance. She really did look like she could sing... how odd. "Hello, Miss Sage. If you would like you can take a seat. I just want to ask you a few questions to see if this is the right place for you."
Sage slowly made her way to the chair, carefully sitting down so she wouldn't sit on her tail or mess up her wings. Sometimes it was difficult having so many appendages....
"So, why do you want to be part of this community?"

Rosemary continued to stare at the door as she tried to figure out what she needed to do. Maybe she should ask Sage if she could go visit Thyme. Of course Sage wouldn't want to see her, so that would be fine and she could go alone. There was the problem of Sage's lack of confidence. That's why she had to be dragged all the way to Villa in the first place.
Freaking Suits. She had to ask Thyme though, if her sword could talk too. It was that or she was going out of her head.... But that was a ridiculous conclusion. If she were crazy she would have known about it sooner or at the very least Dad would have mentioned something.
Shaking her head she took a few steps into the establishment. Maybe a drink or two would make things better?
There was a snicker in the back of her head.
