Ashta's every muscle tensed when she saw the hesitation in her Jack's hand, and the furrowing of his brow. She trembled, fearing that he would be displeased. Her fears were alleviated though, when his smile formed. So rare was it she would see such a tender expression. The Czar was not an emotional Jack, and Ashta never faulted him for it... but to see that smile, well, it melted her heart.
He approved of the name, and she smiled, drawing the squealing male to her breast to allow him to nurse. It was terribly important in her family to do her children such a service; mother's milk made the children strong of both body and mind.
"This one, I shall name Aimili. A gorgeous name for a gorgeous daughter." She smiled, drawing that one close as well.
"And my daughter doe...." The child kicked and resisted at first when picked up, but the scent of her mother and the warm fur of her chest soothed the child into silence. "She shall be Aisha. It means 'she who lives'... one cannot deny her fervor for live even within the womb.." Her finger once again stroked down the Highlander pelt of the babe's back, eliciting a reflex of a kick from the youngling.
Aleah squirmed restlessly against her bosom. The creature seemed so tired yet unable to sleep.. the poor thing. Ashta made a mental note to see what sort of teas she could possibly put into a bottle mixed with milk to soothe his restlessness.

The infant rabbit squirmed and kicked in her mother's hold, but soon settled in to feed, making soft noises all the while. She wiggled as she felt her siblings crouding around her, each vying for a nipple and their share of their mother's attention.
For a long while, Vikenti simply watched the children. He'd been a father before, but it had been such a long time... And it had never happened that his favorite Doe had been the one to give him children. They were such a precious gift, and he was overjoyed that it had been his precious Ashta to give them to him. He leaned in close, pressing a firm kiss against the slightly damp fur of the Rabbit's forehead, smoothing back the golden strands of hair. In that moment, she looked perfect. She was exhausted and her mane and coat were utterly mussed up, but she was beautiful.
Better yet, she was his, and the bundles of all partially-Highland children were only further proof of that fact.
He leaned back with a smile. "Good, strong names, all of them. Perfect names for children who will make their parents proud,[/b]" he said after a moment of considering. "Ashta... thank you for this gift. They are... absolutely incredible.[/b]" the tone of his voice was soft, his expression the closest any Doe of his would ever get to an admission of love.
