In these moments she wished she had appendages to express her emotions properly. Instead her tail tapped lightly against the chair. She seemed to brighten when he spoke. It had been the right thing to say. Good.
And then, quite suddenly, she was kissed. There was a seemingly long moment where the snake deer tried to process what was going on. And then the blush turned into a crimson, slowly creeping down her neck.
She had never been kissed before. Not by someone like him. "Ahh," she said as she found herself looking downwards. What exactly was she feeling? What the hell was going on anyway? Maybe she should have paid more attention to all those things her sister had said. Right now she was at a complete loss. "I-I uh... you really are too kind. I don't think you're a bad person at all."
Tentatively she glanced up at him.

To someone as practiced as Apocalypse was at reading the posture of various Cards in Animal form, this young snake was a mystery. It was a rather lovely thing that she'd inherited the lightly colored Highland coat, or else he wouldn't even have her blushes to go by. The little pair of ears atop her head was another wonderful addition. They moved as he'd expected a sweet little doe's ears to move, and were wonderfully expressive even without shoulders to shrug or a tail that wagged.
Sweet Viola seemed to be incredibly happy, and if the tilt to one ear was any indication, she was also puzzled. Both of these things were excellent in the man's book. The meant he was going in the appropriate direction. When she glanced up at him, she would find him looking back at her, an almost longing expression in his eyes.
Then he sighed. "I'm a terrible man. I crossed a line just now, and..." he lifted one large hand, pressing it against his face, seeming almost to hide his face in shame. He knelt in front of the woman slowly, avoiding her eyes as he did. "And I don't feel bad. In fact, all I want is to kiss you again."
He reached out slowly, brushing the pads of his fingers across her jaw, his movements soft and careful. He didn't want to scratch her, after all. That would ruin the fun. "May I...?"

Her heart seemed to skip another beat when he spoke. She watched him intently as he lifted up his hand, hiding his face in shame. Her ears pressed against her skull. How could he be terrible when he was acting like that? The snake hybrid couldn't see him as anything beyond honest and modest. The heat coming from her face almost felt overwhelming, but it just grew hotter as he confessed.
Oh dear. What was this feeling?
She gave a small nod. "Y-yes, I would like that." She said quietly. Was this the right thing to do? Should she trust this man? He was a noble... and he was one of Xiven's Kings. And it wasn't like she had anything to lose. So she thought. Poor innocent Viola suspected nothing, still. But maybe that was a good thing. If she had suspected him of abusing her innocence she probably would have left the room.

It was probably a good thing that the girl didn't know exactly what Apocalypse meant when he said he was terrible. His intentions towards her were anything but pure, and he did feel as if he was stepping gracefully over some unspoken boundary with his chivalrous gentleman act. But Viola seemed to be enjoying herself... If she seemed once like maybe she wasn't, he'd stop in an instant.
For now, terrible creature he was, he would continue to enjoy himself and hopefully show her a good time while he was at it. Could he do gentle sex? That thought made him pause.
Hm. Probably not. He'd try, though, for her sake, and if she enjoyed herself, then a few bruises weren't such a big deal.
Right?
The man's expression softened as he cupped her cheek in his hand, leaning in and then pausing, his lips a few small centimeters from her own. "Thank you," he said softly. For what, he wasn't sure, but that thought vanished as soon as he closed the distance. The kiss before had been chaste, soft. This one was not. There was an undercurrent of something darker, needier running through it, and when the man broke away it was with a quiet sigh.

Ignorance was sometimes bliss. The snake watched him with wide eyes as he whispered the words of gratitude. What exactly was he thanking her? Of course she couldn't quite think about it for very long when he kissed her again.
This was different from the last one. It was certainly more... demanding to say the very least. And she couldn't help but find her heart racing when he pulled away. The tip of her tail curled as the blush spread slowly down her neck. Was she supposed to like it this much? What was this feeling?
"I... uh... you've left me speechless, Your Highness. I hate to admit this but... that... that was the first time anyone's ever k-kissed me like that." She gave him a rather bashful look as she coiled tighter. Ah, he was just so handsome and interesting. Her ears pressed backwards at the thought. Oh, she shouldn't think about such things.

The way the woman's tail curled wasn't a movement Apocalypse was familiar with, but there was no way to misinterpret it. It was a movement of happiness, similar to the way his own toes curled when he felt pleasure. He ran his fingers, oversized as they were, along the woman's jaw and then slowly down her neck. She was much softer than he'd anticipated, but he could feel the muscles lurking just beneath her skin.
It was a curious feeling, unlike anything he'd ever experienced before, and he found himself grinning as he bumped his forehead against hers.
"Really?" he said quietly, lingering close afterwards. He didn't find it that hard to believe, really, but hearing her actually say it was interesting. Slowly, his hand worked around the back of her head, holding her a little closer. His posture had changed, as well, into something that put his body a little closer to her own. "Did you like it, though...?" he was fairly certain that she had, but he wanted to hear it. That just made everything so much more interesting.
Slowly, his lips curled into a more satisfied grin, almost a smirk. "...Would you like another one?"

Ah this really was strange. As he bumped his forehead against hers she gave a little squeak of surprise. The feeling just didn't want to leave her alone, and it was impossible to ignore. When he spoke hear ears perked to attention.
What a question to ask. It was impossible for her to blush anymore as she looked at him with wide, bright eyes. He knew the answer to the question, how couldn't he? He must have been leading her on the entire time. But really it wasn't all that bad to admit to things out loud. She made a scoffing sound and closed her eyes. Her ears pulled back and pressed against her skull. Mix signals of nerves, but the tip of her tail remained steadily curled.
"Yes, I do," she said quietly, and as clearly as she possibly could. Her eyes slowly opened. "I hope that's not a bad thing."

Oh, that little squeak was adorable, wasn't it? Apocalypse thrilled at the sound, though in some ways, it almost unsettled him. It was cute, innocent. But it was almost too innocent, too childlike. He knew that the woman was an adult, but she'd never been exposed to this kind of physicality. She had a lot to learn, a lot of exploring that needed to happen. Really, there didn't seem to be any reason why she couldn't do at least some of it with him. He would see if he could make more... tantalizing noises spring from her.
The look in the snake-deer's eye was somehow different, and her posture spoke volumes. She was enjoying this, and from the looks of things... quite a bit. But she still seemed nervous... Perhaps he needed to slow things down again?
After the affirmative reply, Apocalypse brushed his lips against hers, unable to keep the grin from tugging at his lips as he broke away. Nose nuzzled against snout, his other hand moving up to hold her head as well. "No," he said softly, leaning in and lightly licking her lips. "There's nothing wrong with it. Vio.. I want to show you more than just.. this..."
Slowly, gently, he began to kiss across her jaw, marveling in the feeling of scales and silky fur against skin. He paused, one hand running across her neck, his touch light as air. Then his lips found the upward curve of her jaw, towards her ear.
He'd let her see what she felt about this kind of kissing. Really, all of it was fine with Apocalypse.

Her tail curled tighter, as well as her coil around herself. Her ears flipped forward and stayed that way even after he had finished speaking. If she had proper eyebrows one of them would have been quirked. Viola had finally caught on to the game.
Though she had no idea how to play it, to her dismay. The blush faded slightly as she took a deep breath. Even if she didn't know how to play she could just be honest.
"Well if that's the case I suppose I could let you show me a bit more. But you're quite the busy man... I wouldn't want you to take time out of your day for me. You've already been so kind. " She gave him a bright smile.
She did honestly want him to show her more. Whatever more really was, she had never experienced it first hand.

"Hmm, it's true, I do have things that need to be done..." he said softly, pausing and inclining his head to the side, running his fingers absently through his hair. The giant hands were taking some getting used to, but he managed to avoid flinching at his own touch. He seemed to consider her words for a moment, but then he rolled his shoulders into an easy shrug, his lips twitching into another smirk.
He had more than enough time, especially since he'd gotten through a massive pile of work before his lunch with Xiven. If it was needed of him, he could always stay up late to get things finished. Xiven was sure to understand the importance of what was in front of him, wouldn't she?
Slowly, he leaned in, pressing his lips against hers once more. His teeth were dragged, slowly, across the snake's skin, not enough to cause pain, but certainly enough to warn her about the daggers that he had between his lips.
"I have more than enough time for you, sweet Vio," he said, a purr in his voice, staring at her through mostly-lidded eyes. "Think of my time as a gift, if it makes you feel any better about stealing me away from other duties. Shall we go to my room...?"
