She almost purred as he gushed over the Villa, almost. She kept herself from doing so, she wanted to pass it off as a nice thing.... but not that big of a deal to her. Although she was kinda, sorta failing at that.
Oh, it's beautiful. It's especially nice over by the cliffs, sometimes you can see the gemstones still glittering in the sun in them and there's always music in some of the bigger cities... well, except for really late at night... unless there's a festival or something going on.
Her little, stubby tail twitched excitedly as she continued, the Villa really was her favorite place to visit. It was far prettier and exciting then this region ever was, that was for sure.
If you ever get the chance to go I highly recommend it. Although some of the citizens can be a little .... rude to outsiders. But that's anywhere really. At least in my opinion anyhow.

Felix grinned as the Feline got excited about her trip. And apparently she'd been there before, too, from her descriptions! Imagine being able to go somewhere like that, somewhere so amazing and musically exciting. You could probably see the sunset there real well, too, being so high up. He let a slight sigh escape him. "It sounds awesome," he said, nodding.
But he knew he himself would never get the chance...it was a difficult place to travel to without money unless you could fly or liked hiking, and he couldn't and didn't. It was still nice to day dream about, though, which he often did. He shrugged slightly, though the grin was still in place. "I wouldn't know...I've never actually been anywhere else except to the Capital. Most Cards are nice to ya there." His eyes couldn't help but trace the movement of her small tail twitching...now wasn't that cute!

The Villa was her favorite spot to visit, followed by the Yarrow. Although she was quite certain the porcupine hadn't ever been there. Her parents had business ties in both places and she was certain they'd have a larger market in both realms soon enough. Her parents weren't content with simply supplying the Selkie and the Capital. They were confident in their product and were more then willing to expand all over the map if they could.
We don't travel as often anymore, too much work to do I suppose. We still haven't been to Midori, but they just don't seem to want to go. I'm not sure why, it sounds like a great vacation spot.
She decided not to acknowledge that fact that she'd caught that look to her little stub of a tail. He wasn't being too horribly offensive and was keeping the boredom at bay so... she'd just go ahead and let it slide.

Too much work. Those were exactly the words that kept Felix without a job. He liked a much more laid back lifestyle, where if he wanted to go out to the Capital on a whim, he could! Of course, the other side of that coin was that he didn't really have the money to go all sorts of exotic places...but that was fine with him too. Though it would be exciting to see somewhere so far away, it would also be tiring, he was sure. Plus, he didn't know what the quality of alcohol was in most of those other places, and a sober week was a sad week.
Felix made a small noise of longing in the back of his throat. "I've always wanted to go to the Midori," he sighed, clasping his paws a bit. "It'd be warm and there'd be beaches and parties and it'd be an awesome time for sure." Not to mention the lovely high experienced off of Midori fingers, which was like nothing else. And Felix got to smoke them so rarely these days...a slightly distant look came into his golden eyes as he thought about it. He had no idea why anyone wouldn't want to go to Midori if they had the time. It was THE vacation spot, pretty much.
