He had lost his business, home, love, and respect, and yet... he had found something quite interesting. He had found out information in a bar in the Capital that the Court of Clubs were looking for people to fill their ranks. A small chance as it was was something that he would temp fate with. So he decided that he would travle to the Court of Clubs and see about this quest that the Queen had set fourth. He hadn't known what it could be about, but he thought that it would be based on the person that they had meet. So he hoped that he would get a good interview and a quest that would chalange his being. Nothing is worth it, unless it was worked for. Once he arrived at the gate did he seek out the Captian of the guard. "I am here to see the Queen of Clubs for an apointment for a meeting, if you wouldn't mind." he asked with a slight bow to the respected man. You don't become a guard captin for no reason.

The captain of the guard on duty was an older gentleman, an otter that was obviously from the Selkie Lakes. He had been working in the Court of Clubs for a couple of years now and had seen many different people walk in and walk right back out again. At being addressed by the avian he simply lofted an eyebrow, not particularly being pleased at the fact he was being distracted from work that he presently needed to be doing.
“And I look like his appointment book?” He replied in a tone that could be taken as almost haughty. He had not been through enough recruits to be one who did dealt with inanity lightly. “If you came here without an appointment to see his Majesty already set, I best recommend that you take yerself home boy, you will not be gaining the chance to be meeting with him today.”
He paused for only a moment to allow the boy a chance to reply affirmative or negative.
“If you do have one, well then I do find myself minding greatly. I am busy enough without needing to play chaperone.” He motioned one of his Guardsmen to come forth with a flick of his wrist. “See that this boy gets to where he needs to go without too much mishap.” With that he effectively dismissed both of them.

Slightly rebuffed and mistooken did the avian just accept the answer and move along as he was told them, he and his chaperone. He carried himself though as if it didn't ruffle his feathers in the least. He coudln't be seen as weak... and one never knew who was looking at any point in time.
With Solandrian bull walking next to him did he feel slightly more comfident that this time to a visit of the courts that it wouldn't be so bad as before. Yet... he didn't want to ask any questions. The bull didn't look like he was in any mood to be talking.
Once outside of the main doors that led into the building did the bull stop for a second before opening them. The large doors swung effortless on well oiled hinges that made little to no sound. It pleased Sabe's ears that there was no sound that would emitt.
Once inside did the bull start leading the new commer through halls and the sort, going to one destination in particular.

"Yes sir," the solandrian bull replied before turning his attention to the avian once being dismissed. "If you will just follow me I will get you where you need to go," He offered up a small smile in hopes to put the bird to some ease.
Leading him quickly and effectively he brought the man to his destination. "Rodney will take care of you from here. Good luck"
Rodney looked up from his desk, buried under different stacks papers which he had organized in neat piles. Giving a nod of greeting, "Good day, sir. If you will just be so kind as to state your name and purpose I will look you up." He waited for the man to fill in his request before quickly shifting through a few papers till he found what he was looking for.
"Ah, yes. Please have a seat and I will let his Majesty know you have arrived."

The heron followed all the orders that was laid out and filled out the fourms that he was requested to fill out. He did everything that he could to a tee. He didn't want anything to go amiss while he was here. He went over everything that he had learned about how to adress those that are appointed over you. That when in the grace of someone so powerful as to become The Queen of a suit ment alot... and power.
He addressed Rodney, "I am Sabe from the Forest of Kahmden, here to respectfully request permission to have an audiance with His Majesty Aderlass, The Queen of Clubs." he asked as politly as he could. He had learned from the Court of Hearts that being nice and wording your words would get you further then just stating what you wanted. . . politics. . .
So he waited as he was told as he watched Rodney and awaited for his name to be called out.

When the lad was seated Rodney slipped over to the door over and behind his desk. Giving three quick knocks he then cracked it open. Sticking in side he waited for His Majesty Aderlass to acknowledge him. A wave of the hand from the man did so. "Your Majesty, Sabe of the Forest of Kahmden has arrived to see you." While his secretary announced his purpose he quickly finished up the sentence that he was writing, signed the paper, and placed it on top of one of the piles. "Ah, yes. Send him in will you?" "Yes, Your Majesty." Stepping back outside he announced in a clear voice. "Sabe of the Forest of Kahmden, His Majesty Aderlass will see you now." He held the door open for the bipedal, allowing him through before closing it behind him and returning to his desk. "Please, take a seat. Wot is it that I can do for you today, Sabe of the Forest of Kahmden?" His Majesty asked, his voice calm and a pleasant smile on his face.

When Rodney had disappeared into the room and came out and announced that he would be seen to now made Sabes heart start to pump rapidly. He was exited and quite pleased with the quickness that was shown here. Apparently the Queen had time to see others so it must have been a slow day that he had arrived on.
With the door held open did the heron walk through with careful steps that showed his avian grace. Once inside he took a deep bow from his mid section folding his wings in the process when standing back up.
"Thank you, your Majesty for taking time out of your busy day to see me." he said as he looked to the queen spotting that he still had a mutation from something... it wasn't all that unattractive, and yet... it just seemed to fit the man more.
"I came to seek a position within the court as a Queen." Sabe stated in even tones his voice unfaltering before this powerful being.

Anoushka had been privy to the words shared between the secretary and the bird standing in the room. Gah, she hated birds. This one was a Queen of Clubs and technically outranked her, which would make her both more moderate and on edge due to past events with birds that were better left buried. Specifically, with Queen of Clubs male birds. Nrr. She took the liberty of following surreptitiously after the Kahmden, listening at the door for a moment before knocking and opening it. She'd been on her way to see Aderlass anyway, hence her presence, and if this man was applying for a titled Queenship then she wanted to be there for a look at him herself. For all that she wouldn't belong to him, it would be terribly unnerving not to have some idea of the nature of a new Queen in the Court. "Apologies for disturbing, Your Majesty," she said on her way in, side-stepping the bird and giving him a hard, searching look before taking a seat off to the side of the room. "I'd come to discuss the matter of Vende, but I can certainly vait. Vould you mind my presence?"((Just so you know, the bird prejudice isn't Sabe at all. It's a long-standing thing from her past. Pascha had to deal with it too when he entered the Court.))

The Queen lofted a brow of interest towards the avian. That as definitely something interesting and more than likely worth his time.
Before he could respond to there was a knock on the door. Glancing over at it he called out for the person to enter, wondering who it would be. "Ah, Anoushka, greetings. No worries, no worries, please join us. I was just about to interview this young lad, he is here interested in becoming one of our Queens. This is Sabe of the Forest of Kahmden," He introduced point towards the male first. "Sabe, this is Her Highness Anoushka."
Greetings done and everyone settled he turned his attention towards the lad before him.
"Why do tell me a little about yourself, Sabe." Not really knowing anything about the male he was interested to learn a few things before testing him out to see if he a worthy member to the Court.

Sabe acknowledged the woman that had just entered. She was a decent looker, and yet he was here on more important things. Some things did come over others.
"Good day, your Highness Anoushka." he said to her with a smile on his face and a warm cheery attitude. He felt like he was really self-assured. It probably had something to do with his wings that he had acquired a good long time ago. They seemed to be able to affect everyone that was around, and he hoped that it would help him here as well. The lure of it didn't hold back from any suit or rank. Even queens where affected.
He looked back to the Queen and nodded his head in response, "As you know, I'm Sabe of Kahmden, formally owner of the Safe Trade company located in the Capital. I've lived their for a good portion of my life and all over the realms I have traveled because of my trade." He said hoping that it wouldn't give him bad marks because of his comings. Hopefully they wouldn't inhibit him in any way. He really didn't know what to state about himself. Though he would try his hardest.
"I see myself as on time and always their when called upon. I have never been late to anything always fifteen before time. My mother always said if your on time then you where late." he said with a bit of a chuckle, "Though I would have to say the reason that for my being here was because of the Court of Hearts. I have always told myself that I would become one of the most respected and just leaders of my suit. That I would lead by example of passions and my love for most other people, that my greatest value in life is but life, to live it and enjoy it as it is." He hoped that he had said the right things, if he hadn't then he would fill in the blanks... it seemed to himself as if he was just rambling on and on. That was bad. He needed more direct questions.
