The hybrid made his way down streets he hadn't traveled in, wow, nearly a year now that he thought about it. But he still knew precisely where he was going, a wonderful side effect from his cloak's power, and was quickly approaching where he had assumed Anatolius still lived. He was also swiftly losing his nerve as well ... he was coming here as he'd promised, since he had gone to the Lowlands after all, but he also had a purpose. Nervous just wasn't a strong enough word to cover what he was feeling... And then he was there on the canine's doorstep before he knew it ... and he hadn't prepared a thing to say. A lot had changed since he'd last seen the canine ... he had, to an extent, and his rank had as well and .... the kids. Gads, he had children. It still surprised him but ... it wasn't an unpleasant surprise anymore. But that didn't mean that the canine would appreciate them .... and they were his without question. An was, after all, the only Morganberry he knew, much less had done anything else with. He took a deep breath, pulled his shoulders back and .... knocked lightly on the door. He would wait patiently, and knock a little harder if needed, trying to cover up his nerves with a smile all the while.

[OOC: Just so everyone knows, this takes place after the rp with Viviane, Acheron, and Anatolius. If you don't want spoilers for what happens in that rp, then I suggest waiting until that rp is done to read this one.
For those of you who don't mind, and want to read, Acheron has been attacked by Ronno (in essence). He is extremely beaten up, broken, and he now has a large scar on the side of his face extending from the edge of his mouth to mid cheek. This is because Ronno rips out one of the chains attached to the side of his face...so for now...one is still attached...and one is dangling from his front knee where it is no longer attached to his mouth.
At this point he should still be rehabilitating. Just figured I would let everyone know since it hasn't exactly happened yet XD; and their is no redraw yet either ^^;] Acheron laid in bed, beside Anatolius, in a state between sleep and insomnia. The pain was overwhelming as his body healed from all the injuries he sustained so long ago. He secretly wondered why he was healing so slowly, but then again he had broken 101 different bones, or at least it seemed. His body was just taking way to long to mend everything. But today more then anything, the side of his face ached. The mouth injury was just starting to heal, mending into a thick and ugly scar. He had slept with his mouth open, which meant that this morning his mouth scar was going to hurt like a bitch. Sometime during the day while he was resting up, he heard a knock at the door. He moaned, hoping that it was really just the butterfly they were living with, who had forgotten her keys and come home. He knew better though. it was most likely a client looking for An. Which meant that he would have to move to the couch downstairs while they used the room. He didn't want to move...maybe An would answer the door and tell the person to go. But no sound came from inside the house, and he sighed, finally mustering the strength to get his battered body out of bed and to the front door. It took a while, his body was stiff and aching and still healing, and he walked awkwardly with a limp, but all the same he went to the front door, "One moment..." he called weakly to the door as he continued to make his way. He wished he looked less....injuried, he would probably frighten whoever was at the door, what with being bandaged up and the horrible scar on his face and such. The chain on his left side drug against the floor, making a horrible scratching sound against the wood. Finally he reached the door, and with a little bit fo difficulty, he opened it. Behind the door was a rather meek looking rat, though he really didn't think much of it, other then that he must be a client of An's. "Hello...How may I help you?" he asked politely, his eyelids partially closed, looking tired and well...beaten. He tried his best to look as pleasent as possible, after all...he had heard the gang was in trouble...and he wouldnt want to scare off the cash flow for An if this was in fact a client.

Anatolius had woken up late, allowing himself time to sleep in beside Acheron. He kept himself close to the antelope male whenever possible, determined to keep anything from happening to the still-weakened antelope. He was not typically a violent sort, but that night had proved just how violently his protective rage could peak... and Toli was still determined to kill that buck were he ever to catch him again. It was a nightmare that finally woke him, and the canine was quick to move to the shower to rinse the sweat off. Drying off in the bathroom, he didn't notice the sound of knocking until he caught the distinct sound of Acher venturing across the house. Had Vana gotten locked out again? "Acher?" He peeked his head out the door of the bathroom before quickly tossing the towel in the hamper and strolling through the house. He came into the entry way and caught the sight of a brown form lingering just out of view. Familiar though... "Hey Acher, who is it?"He strolled closer, ears perked and tail swaying casually.

Pale furred ears twitched forward at the.... unusual sounds coming from the other side of the door, and then a bit of shuffling and finally the door was open and... that very much wasn't Anatolius. He had no idea who the Torquehelm was but concern instantly made it's way to his expression and then continued to linger in his eyes when he got that in check. Maybe .... he had the wrong door? Maybe.... An had moved? Well, he wouldn't know if he didn't ask, and if he didn't ask he'd be getting nowhere.
I'm ... terribly sorry to bother you but I'm looking for ....
And that was about when he heard the voice of the exact person he was looking for and his gaze shifted upward and the bright coat of the morganberry came into view. Well, this had all the makings of being a far more awkward situation then he'd initially planned and the thought made him stroke his bag a bit for comfort.
Anatolius?
He didn't mean to ignore the antelope but he couldn't help himself. Despite being nervous he was happy to see the canine again even if he wasn't quite as 'adorable' as he had been before. He had his bag, with the front specially made with separate compartments for various kinds of powders, a necklace with a small collection of... teeth on it and one wing that stuck out at an odd angle that not even re-breaking and trying to set again had fixed fully.

Acheron was used to concerned looks whenever he answered the front door, only helped by the fact (he was sure) that he was partially bandaged up...and had a hidious looking scar on the side of his face. He sighed inwardly. Nothing really ever changed did it? When would he open the door to someone that was happy to see him. Probably never.
He cocked his head slightly as he stuck it out the crack in the door, listening to the steady words of the winged rat. He was interupted, however, by Anatolius asking who it was at the door, and when he turned his head to look back at the rat, it seemed as if they already knew eachother. Or at the very least the rat seemed to know him. He didn't feel the need to say more, knowing the canine would probably pick up the conversation just fine. Besides, this was obviously one of his clients and his torn up mouth was hurting him from the exersion of talking.
He turned away to move from the door, limping a bit as he did. His whole body hurt, and now so did his insides, the way they always did when he answered the door to a client...and knew what was coming next. He looked up at Anatolius, "I'll be resting on the couch, you can have upstairs." he said quietly, so that only the big bipedal canine could here him, before he slowly drug himself over to the living room.
He rolled his eyes slightly, less in annoyance...and more in a "Well...here we go again" sort of dispairing way.

Anatolius's tail thumped suddenly as he recognized the voice on the other end. Tavor??? He was probably the last person Toli would have expected to show up at the door, but that wasn't at all a bad thing. An old friend was always nice to see, although Toli was entirely unaware of the potential awkward his return might bring.
"Tavor! It's good to see you!"
The canine was briefly disrupted by Acheron's quiet whisper as he departed, sulking toward the living room. Oh suits! He'd taken that entirely the wrong way. The canine's ears perked a little and motioned for Tavor to take a moment.
"It's fine, Acher. We won't be needing the upstairs. This is Tavor, a friend of mine that I haven't seen in a while." He hesitated, looking over Tavor's form and the changes that had taken place. If Acheron had stayed to wait, Toli would go on: "Acheron, Tavor... Tavor, Acheron." He chuckled, continuing on blissfully as he urged Tavor to come inside.
"You've changed a lot since we last ran into each other! Come in, we can talk."

Well, that was a rather odd greeting... .but he didn't think anything of it really. He hadn't expected anyone else to be here... but he couldn't just back out now. He had to tell Tolius his news, but now things would just be a bit.... harder. The feathers on his tail fanned out a bit as he tried to keep his nerves in check, becoming a wreck right when he was standing on the outside of the open door just .... wouldn't be good. It also wouldn't make this go any smoother either.... so he took a deep breath and stepped in when he was offered, shutting the door behind him when he did.
He had no idea why someone knocking in the wolf's door would mean he'd need to vacate the upstairs, but he wasn't going to ask about it either. It wasn't even a thought that stuck immediately to his mind either, it was already far to busy trying to find something to say ... but introductions and casual conversation were a good start ... yes? He could do that .... maybe.
It's nice to meet you Acheron, and it's good to see you again Anatolius.
His gaze traveled to each as he spoke their name but when he looked back at the wolf, well, he couldn't keep the flush of red from touching his cheeks. He just couldn't help it.... he remembered what happened, and that's precisely why he couldn't help but blush in the morganberry's presence.
Y-yeah ... a lot has happened since then.

As Acheron began moving away, Anatolius stopped him with his words. He turned his head, making the taught remaining chain slack. He felt a little foolish now, and blushed a bit as he turned around to face the winged rat once again. Maybe it was just his mood of late, but he just was not in a place to imagine that friends would be the ones at the door other then clients. He figured he needed to assume a great deal less. He bowed his head as if in apology. "Oh. I'm horribly sorry for my rudeness...um...most visitors we get have no interest in me...so I try to get out of the way as fast as possible." he said as if trying to explain himself to the rat, but it was a weak excuse at best. He bowed his head again, "It is a pleasure to meet one of Anatolius' good friends, Tavor."
He then turned his head to the other room, the chain growing taught again and pulling his head back slightly, and not without a small groan. Why did everything still hurt? Why couldn't he just heal faster? Wasn't it bad enough that his face was perminately horribly disfigured? That people would always stare at the gruesome looking smiling scar? He closed his eyes a moment. "Would you two mind horribly if I sat on the couch anyway? My legs are starting to feel weak..." he asked slightly sheepish now, after being so rude previously.

Oblivious to just how awkward Tavor was, Anatolius pulled back to allow Tavor room to come inside. Once Tavor was in, he'd shut the door once more and return to Acheron's side. Anyone with eyes could see just how much he adored Acheron. Except, as it would turn out, Acheron himself. His fingers ran through the Torque's dark fur, his eyes flickering briefly with concern.
"Yeah, of course we can go sit." He hoped that neither men would be bothered by sharing each other's company. Acheron was healing surprisingly slow and Toli didn't like being too far away in the case that Acher might need him.
Beckoning to Tavor, he followed the antelope out into the living room before pausing momentarily and glancing between them both.
"Would you like something to drink, Tavor? Acheron? Or," he hesitated momentarily "you do have time to sit and talk a while, Tavor? I wouldn't want to hold you up if it was only supposed to be a brief visit." Oops... He probably should have figured that out when he first greeted the boy. Ah well, better late than never.

He watched the two interact and yes .... he could see how deeply Tolius cared for the antelope... and he assumed it was a returned affection and.... it made his heart ache to think about what he was going to say. Not tat he had an emotional attachment to the canine beyond a friendship .... it was the knowledge that he was going to hurt the antelope that made his insides ache. He didn't even really know the man, and he was meeting him when he'd obviously gone through a traumatic incident... oh.... this wasn't going to go well at all! But he was perfectly kind and as calm sounding as he possibly could be, he didn't want anything to seem amiss until... well, until the right moment to bring up the trio came about.
N-no.... it's perfectly alright. My visit is unannounced after all.
He smiled, however weak that it was .... but it was still a smile and he hoped he didn't look on the verge of a breakdown .... or, well, anywhere near as frightened as he was. His ears perked at Tolius' words though, and he nodded. Well, at least they ad time for him to work up to the subject he'd come here to discuss!
Actually, that's perfect. I was hoping you would have time to spend for a chat and .... water would be wonderful.
