Acheron made his achingly slow way into the living room, each step seeming to be laborious. He began to pant slightly as he finally reached the couch, and began to try to find a way to get on without hurting his already painful wounds. He sighed, then inhaled as he tried to jump on, but only managed to get his front legs on, his back legs dangling slightly in an awkward position as he didn't quite make the jump. He wrestled a moment with his back legs, before finally giving up. In the past such a jump would have been more then just easy, but now...everything was so much harder. Again he sighed and resigned to his semi-uncomfortible position. "If you could get me some water...I would appreciate it. I feel...a little dehydrated..." he said softly, laying his head on the seat next to him, his scarred side showing for all the world to see.
It was a rather odd looking scar, slightly inclinded to look like a smile, thick and webbed, telling that the injury was extremely violent. A golden eye looked down as if to inspect it, and for a moment his eyes closed, tired with the effort it had taken him to get to his current seat.

Toli watched as Acher struggled with hopping onto the couch, quietly moving over to assist his lover without a second thought. He didn't stop to think that Acheron's pride might disapprove of the movement, but he didn't want the antelope over straining himself. Gently he licked him, before pulling back and grinning warmly at the both of them.
"Alright, waters for everyone then. I'll be right back~!"
With his usual light-hearted ease, Anatolius turned and bound casually into the kitchen where he gathered cups (and a bowl for Acher) and filled all of them with cool water. As usual, the action gave the canine something useful to do with his hands other than fidget nervously. Acher was still in so much pain... The slow healing disturbed and upset him, though did nothing to degrade his love for the Torque. He just found himself more prone to worrying than he'd ever been accustomed to.
Upon returning, the canine's tail was wagging as if all was well in the world and he settled the dishes before everyone.
"So how are you, Tavor? Tell me everything, yeah?"

When the canine went off to the kitchen the hybrid's gaze shifted over to the antelope. His expression was dusted lightly with intrigue, and not the kind spawned from his injuries. In fact, beyond his initial viewing of them, he didn't really pay the injuries any mind. He was more curious about the torque then he was about what had happend to him... he had to be a nice man, didn't he? An was rather fond of him, and surely someone like the canine wouldn't be .... inclined to awful people, right?
He tilted his head up and over to the canine when he returned, flashing him a nervous little smile and nodding his head in thanks, e wasn't entirely sure what to say, really, not even now. The tip of his tail twitched back and forth as he thought, dragging the feathers on the tip along the floor with each twitch.
He reached out, grasping the glass in his hand and pausing for a moment, remembering what happened the last time he had something to drink here .... it took everything he had not to turn a rather ... brilliant shade of red because of the memory.
I've been .... decent as of late. I went to the Lowlands ... kind of ... .erm .... disappointing experience.
His voice wavered a bit at the end, going a bit up in pitch as he tried to describe his time there, his ears shifting to an angle that was about halfway between forward and pressed against his skull.
A-are you sure .... you want to hear about that still?
He remembered promising the canine that when he did go to the Lowlands, he'd visit the canine and tell him about it. He just wasn't entirely sure if the man was interested anymore.

Acheron wasn't perterbed by Anatolius' helpful hands, instead he made a small moaning sound that would let the wolf know he greatly appreciated the more comfortible position he could now put himself in with his legs not dangling off the end. He rolled them up under his belly protectively before laying back down for a moment to rest off the ache slightly while An brought water for them all to drink. He hadn't expected the newcomer to speak with him, and he didn't, so he closed his eyes a bit for a moment of pretend privacy. He breathed in and out deeply, as if with each breath he was pushing the pain of his body out of him. He began to grow a little nervous...but only because even with closed eyes he could sence the other looking at him. He hoped that his scar wasn't attracting all the attention, he hated that people always seemed to stare at it now then his face....even An seemed prone to doing it. It was slightly heartbreaking...though, he supposed he couldn't blame them. It was just something he would eventually have to get used to.
He didn't look at the lowlander mix as the two began talking. It was not that he didn't like him, he didn't even know him well enough to feel one way or the other. The conversation just didn't include him, and he didn't feel like interupting or putting himself in some sort of limelight of conversation. He simply opened his eyes a bit to reach his head over to the table and take a couple of meek licks of water before going back into the comfortible position he had been in previously.

Once Anatolius had taken care of everyone, he settled happily back onto the couch beside Acheron. Using one hand he slid his fingers through the male's soft fur, with the other he held his drink and sipped at it from time to time while listening to Tavor.
O! So he had gone... only...
The canine paused, his ears sliding back about halfway. Why did Tavor look so upset? What had happened? Slowly he shifted forward, ears sliding forward once more.
"Disappointing? What happened, Tavor? Of course..., Yeah...I still want to hear." He couldn't resist the look of incredulous concern. The Lowlands couldn't be the safest place in the world and poor Tavor was so very sweet. He didn't even want to begin thinking about what could have happened to the young rat mix. "Are you alright?" And after he'd encouraged him to go as well...

So the canine did still want to hear? Well, that made his plan somewhat more feasible ... be true to his word and tell the canine all the awful details and then.... well, then maybe telling him about the trio wouldn't be such a slap in the face. At least ... it would be more positive news? He wasn't entirely sure but ... now he had to disclose all the ... details of his trip. He took a deep breath, and then a sip of water and leaned forward, his ears remaining back.
Ok ... w-well... here goes ...
He started his tale in a fairly normal state but as he continued on he fixed his gaze onto the floor and just sort of ... slipped out of himself for a bit so he could just get everything out. His eyes darkened a bit and seemed a little.... out of focus but that's how he dealt with saying really horrible things out loud. And he didn't skimp on any of the details either and described everything that happened to him in rather frightening detail. He'd been told getting things like this off your chest was a good thing ... something that helped you get over them, and ... well .... he needed to tell someone and Toli had volunteered to hear ever horrifying, or completely disgusting thing that happened to him until finally he 'came back', but he didn't shift his gaze from the floor and even bristled his fur before speaking softly.
A-and there's .... another thing ... I need to tell you. I'm just ... not entirely sure ... I can say it in front of Acheron.

Anatolius tensed, ears perked but his face contorted with concern. Everything Tavor said was absolutely horrible and...and yet it seemed like it would only be getting worse. After that lengthy story of woes, what could have happened that he'd be too shy to tell it in front of Acher? "I'm so sorry, Tavor..." He frowned deeply, before his expression eased ever so slightly and he lifted smoothly to his feet. "I'm glad you made it out of it, though. I'd be awfully sad if our previous meeting had been our last."Glancing down at his lover, he softly laid his hand on the male's cheek and flashed a brief smile. "Why don't you rest, yeah love? He and I can go into the other room." He couldn't possibly begin to suspect what it was Tavor had in store to tell him. He had figured it was something graphic, something he was too ashamed to tell in front of someone he'd just met. He would be in for a quite the surprise. (Oi! Sorry for breaking posting order. Toli was being demanding ; )

Acheron was generally unconcerned. It really wasn't that he had anything against the rat, the conversation just wasn't including him in the slightest. He had never known this rat mix before, and he really had nothing to say to much of anything he was saying. It was very unfortunate to be sure, but he had no relationship with the creature, so he could only convey a mild worry about the creature's safety. That was...until he mentioned....someone very familiar.
Acheron began to sweat. He couldn't help it. He knew the man was out there still, and the mention of him made him anxious. What if he came back? What if he wanted to finish him off? He shuttered visibly. "He got you to?" he asked, his question meeker sounding then he wanted it to be. He couldn't help but feel a great amount of sympathy then. If An hadn't come to the rescue...well...the antelope would have most certainly been killed...but this rat....had no one...Why had the stag let him go? He suddenly felt very ill, like he was going to vomit all over the floor, and his face truely showed it.
When Anatolius touched his cheek, he couldn't help but close his eyes. A finger's length away was the scar that Anatolius had not been in time to prevent...the testiment of his meeting with the stag. His eyes furrowed, and he slowly began to move, getting off the couch one leg at a time. It was a really pained movement...but he really didn't want to vomit in front of everyone. "No...it's ok....I suddenly....don't feel so good....I think I'm going up to the bedroom..." he looked over at the rat, "It was nice to meet you Tavor...I'm sorry about...well....him..."
He started moving out of the room and towards the stairs up to the room that Anatolius and he shared.

The story put him in a rather ... odd mood really. and yet, telling Toli what he still hadn't still seemed rather daunting to him because ... that experience had been in the past and this one was something he needed to deal with now ... and he couldn't predict how the canine would react. his worry was enough to make him start wringing his hands again before Acheron spoke up and he froze entirely for a moment before pale ears crept forward.
Well, he wasn't quite sure what to think or say in response to that. Really you didn't run across friends or, as he was quickly beginning to think, lover's of friends who had been tormented by the same, awful person you were. The antelope definitely looked a lot worse off then he did to ... and he felt even more thankful that the stag had just .... stopped and left him. The Lowlands was truly the type of place where people just turned the other cheek on horrible acts.
He was so surprised by this whole revelation that he momentarily forgot that Anatolius was there, and that he had something else to tell him.
