It was a cloudy day. To Nikoli, cloudy days were wonderful days, since he didn't have the sun beating down upon him, his thick fur soaking up the harsh rays. It was very easy for the feline to overheat, which is why he now tended to carry a water bottle on him at all times. However, at the moment, there was really no need for the bottle attached to his side. At the moment, the Solandrian was crouched before a pond, benches around it, as well as sheltering trees. Currently, he was mesmerized by the swirling figures of the koi who populated the decorative pond. They shimmered with metallic oranges, bronzes, and golds, flashing their showy fins as they twisted and turned in their aquatic ballet. Rarely did Nikoli have time to simply sit and relax because of work. Unfortunately, he'd been unable to find work today. He did have funds saved up, but he needed to find some way to make money tomorrow, or the next day. It would be nice if he could find a steady job, but these odd jobs were fine for the time being. Right now, though, he did not want to think of his future, only the present. Hmm, these fish really were pretty...

Today she was going to really relax. No bars, no men, no worries of any kind. She really needed it, seeing as the events as of late had her stressed out and distracted like she'd never been before. She had to deal with moving out, getting a place, Tavor having a kids and a new girlfriend, and jumping from Aurelius to Aeron. Though she figured that pretty quick she was going to have to make a decision. Life was so much easier when she could just sleep with people and be done with it, she reminisced. The only thing that could take her mind off of everything was a walk, she didn't' know where it would lead but she had a pretty good idea as she saw a cute little pond before her though it seemed she was not alone. She walked up and took a seat not next to the card but close and peered into the water. Kois must have it so easy, all they have to do is swim to live. Lucky them.

Very quickly, Nikoli realized he was not alone. Glancing to the side, he studied the other card, placing her as a from the Selkie Lakes. However, he really shouldn't jump to conclusions, because truthfully, she could be from any number of places, depending on what her parents were. She seemed to be looking at the fish like he was. Well, it was relaxing and uncomplicated. There was no need to think, only to wonder at the whimsy of the fish below.
Deciding he should probably be friendly, he sat up, looking back at the card. "Hello, I'm Nikoli. Umm...do you like the fish too?" Though he considered this very forward of himself, he knew he needed to become a lot more outgoing if he was to make it in this place. He definitely had to learn to mellow out a little, but he knew his distrust of others would never fully evaporate. It was hard to change how one was raised.

((I totally realize what she said came off like a bad pick up line but it's not i promise XD))
Isolde jumped a little when she noticed the card had noticed her and was now speaking. Not being rude in any way, she answered back.
"Hi, i'm Isolde and yes, I've been fascinated by fish since I was little but something that needs only keep swimming to live is interesting anyway." she smiled.
"Do you sit here often?" she asked curiously. She didn't remember ever seeing him before... the drama always piled up in her life so she found herself always returning here to think and come up with answers to hard questions. Hopefully today wouldn't be any different and she would be able to figure out what she was going to do in her current situation. The Tavor one was simple, he had children and she was going to deal with it and even love them because they were family now and she always loved children. Didn't mean she had to like how they got there though.

((It's been far too long, I just don't have the muse for it anymore. If it's alright, I would like to close this))
