Isolde felt she was ready now, she knew what needed to be done and Grandpa had given her blessings so why not? She finished packing her belongings and stared back at her room before walking out the door. She stopped for a moment to let it all sink in; where she was going and the person she needed to seek out. What if he doesn't like me? she wondered. What if he did know about me but he didn't want me... No. Isolde, stop it. It's going to be fine and you're going to be a richer person for all of it. She snapped out of it and closed the door behind her as she walked. Corvistowne was buzzing today, there was so many people around that it almost made Isolde feel claustrophobic. Nevertheless, she made her way toward the path toward Avington when... she noticed someone looking at her. It startled her but she was more curious than scared so she walked over to him to say hello. " Hi I'm Isolde! What's your name?"

The streets of Corvistowne were extremely crowded, and Gojirra watched them all with an almost predatory gaze. He wasn't looking to hurt anyone...well...not really, but he knew out and about was something that he wanted, and he was always set on getting what he wanted. The crowd went by, hardly troubled by his presence, but he was beginning to get annoyed. There was no one who was catching his interest. No one to study. Everyone was so...normal. It sickened him slightly, in ways that could only be known by being familiar with him and his work. Then his eyes cought the sight of a pale skinned card across the way. He hadn't seen a lakelander in these parts for some time, and it was a welcome change from all the black that was usually in the area. He couldn't help but stare a bit, trying to decide if she was interesting enough or not, when suddenly she spotted him. He didn't look away, there was no point. He had been looking at her, and what reason did he have to hide the fact? She walked over and he dipped his head lightly. "Not afraid are you? Well, that's a rather nice change. Usually when people realize I'm staring at them they run as fast as their legs can carry them." his words were spoken like he was reciting something from a textbook or notes. He looked her over again. Hmm, well...she wasn't horribly interesting, but she WAS a lakelander...or at least a mix. He had been meaning to grab one so as to study the DNA of their feathered limbs. He got requests often to mutate people to have lakelander feathered hair, but he had to refuse them all for lack of having the appropriate information beyond regular hair growth. He didn't want to loose any more customers to such a stupid reason. "It is a pleasure to meet such a good looking diamond such as yourself Isolde. My name is Dr. Gojirra Strome. You may call me Gojirra if you so please." He cocked his head a bit, "The truth is...I'm interested in taking some DNA samples from you for my studies. Would you be so kind as to allow me to gather some? I promise I can make it worth your while." he merely dipped his head as he asked, giving her some very professional eye contact.

((Painfully Short))
Isolde welcomed the company, maybe this card knew something about her Father. She giggled at the black and red card that stood before her. "Afraid? Now why would I be afraid of you, silly. You flatter me though, Gojirra... my mother is a lot prettier than I am." she blushed and looked at him in confusion.
"You want DNA from me? What are your studies about? I can't be that interesting... but sure, i'll volunteer for that. Anything for science!" she said cheerfully. She just hoped nothing weird would happen to her in the process. Her search for her Father could be put on hold for the time, this man looked like he needed her help and who was she to turn him down?

Gojirra raised his brow. She was a giggling thing wasn't she? Happy. "I've been told my stare is...creepy." he said, his tone even. The last word was said after a moment of attempting to think of the proper word to discribe it. The female might have been right, the mother might have been prettier then her, but he really wouldn't know. Gojirra....had a very strange idea of what beauty was...to say the very least. Really, the girl wasn't his type as far as beauty went, but he supposed she wasnt that bad. But he wasn't about to comment on the sentence, after all...hurting peoples feelings (which he very well might do), was not condusive to getting their DNA.
She was right about that to. She wasn't horribly interesting, by most standards, especially his. She was rather normal looking. "You just so happen to be exactly what I need. I don't see many Lakelanders around here, and I've been meaning to stop one for a while now." he said, deciding not to mention how uninteresting she was, and instead let her know she was vital. Because...she was. He seemed interested in her commentary about science, "Do you have interest in Science, Isolde? I can't help but empathize with your last statement. My studies center around mutations mostly, and so deal with looking at DNA to see where the strands change or are...mutated...I suppose." he stepped a bit closer to her, taking up a bit of her feathered hair from an arm. "I'm interested in learning how to recreate these in others that might desire them. Will you follow me to my lab then? If you agree that is?" he raised another brow with his question.

"Creepy? Well rest assured, I do not find you creepy" she said reassuringly. His looks and demeanor were a bit strange but really she would never say that much, it would have been rude... something that Isolde was not.
"Oh Really?" she asked curiously. She had never been needed for a science experiment, it sounded exciting and very dangerous. Though Ophelia had taught her finding the truth of the experiment mattered more than anything.
"Oh yes!" she nearly squealed. No one seemed interested in the intelligent side of her so she hadn't told any as of yet of her interest in Science.
"I too find mutations fascinating. My "friend" has one such that causes others to get electrically zapped by touching his back. I've always wondered what it was inside of him that caused that to happen. I would certainly like to learn as well, so you are welcome to analyze me if you like". She was such a perky girl, no one expected a lover of science to be within her walls of cuteness. On the downside, that always meant no one would mentor here because they never took her serious.

He easily let drop the conversation on whether he was creepy or not...in the long run, it really didn't matter what she thought of him. All that mattered was that she was eager and willing to help him with his studies. Thats all he really cared about at the end of the day.
She was rather chatty, something that he hoped wouldn't continue to much. It was not that he incapable of holding a conversation, but he wasn't much for small talk, and he had to admit...he didn't really care what she had to say, except for if she was going to go through with giving him the DNA sample or not. He only half heard what she was saying as she spoke. His interest was regained as she spoke of her friend, though he was not sure if it was something to really look into...he could just be...electrically charged...but...elemental mutations were always something interesting to look into. When she gave the ok, he smiled...sorta.
"Excellent! I must thank you for your assistance in my endevors. Please...follow me to my lab and we can get down to buisness. May I ask what it is you might like in return? Money? Perhaps a mutation?" he asked as he turned in the direction of home...his gaze still on her form, waiting for her to follow his rotund self. Despite his size and well....stomach...he moved with the grace that was characteristic of any feline. It was bizarrely suiting. "Your friend...he sounds...interesting...If either of you are curious about his...mutation, I would be eager to look him over." he added as a last minute thought.

((Just a reminder since this was awhile ago, I already took out 50 pts for wings and Nat said she could have small non-functioning ones))
This Dr. Strome guy seemed nice, it was only natural he would be interested in her of course... she was a superior breed as it were. She laughed at her attempt to seem haughty, it just didn't really suit her. Goodness, he was a quiet one. Ah well, that just meant she had to try harder!
"HMMMM... I would like a mutation if you didn't mind? If you could give me small wings that would be wonderful" she grinned following him back to his lab. She had the ability to fly but she thought that it would take the cake if she were to have wings too.
At the mention of Aurelius, she blushed a bit. "That would be very nice of you to take a look at him for me... I am really curious to see what you find out."
