For lack of a proper mouth to kiss he nuzzled her carefully. It really was inconvenient being stuck with a beak sometimes. "You know, I never thought that you would actually accept my love. I was completely and utterly terrified you would reject me. I don't know why. But I'm....Thank you Ceci."
He said as he gave her another squee.
He was interrupted in all his thoughts by a nudging at his foot. The sparrow tried to nudge it away, but found sharp pointy teeth digging into it.
"Damnit Azzy! The world doesn't revolve around you!" He said as he shook the bander off. She was begging for attention, that was great. "Get up on the couch if you feel so strongly about it."
The little bander snorted as she jumped up on the couch next to Cecil, trying to squeeze between the too. She wanted love too!
".... Unbelievable." Ez pouted.

Cecilia put a hand to her mouth in shock, looking daintily surprised. "How could I ever reject you, Ez?" He was the very best person out there, the kindest and most loving... and handsome, and sexy too. He was the best of all worlds. She remained happily pressed to him, absolutely bubbling over with joy. "You've always been the best thing that ever happened to me. I couldn't say no."
And then Azzy was there, trying to shove between them for a piece of the love and cuddles.
Cecilia fell into a small giggling fit. "Now now~ Don't you two fight over me!" The doe teased playfully before licking Ez once more and gently shifting in his lap, settling herself in a way that both enabled her to dote on Azzy and to remain close -- if perhaps a bit suggestively so -- to Ez. "You're very silly, Azzy." Cecilia stroked the bander happily and laid against the sparrow, quite comfortable to waste away the evening with love and cuddles.

"It's paranoia I guess," Ez said quietly. "I don't know how to explain fear, but it was hard to get rid of. I'm happy though, that I got over it. Best thing or not, I'm glad to be part of your life and now I can always be part of your life."
He ran his hand down her back softly. He watched as Azzy gobbled up attention. Recently she had gotten out, and given the sparrow quite a horrible scare. He was happy to have her return, even if she was giving him quite a bit of trouble recently. Normally she was well mannered, but for some reason she kept stomping around the house demanding food, attention, then being left alone.
It never crossed his mind that she may be pregnant.
"Do you have anything else planned today?" Ez asked with a rather devious smirk. "I was thinking that if you don't we could go out to dinner. I might even be able to get us into the Golden Apple."

Cecilia couldn't have ever imagined life without Ez. Ever since they'd first met she'd been attracted to the Selkie sparrow, even if their first meeting had been entirely unconventional... Meeting him and his brother had been a heaven send, Ez was her little piece of safety in a sea of uncertainty.
The one person she could really hold onto.
"Well, you don't ever have to worry about such things now. Whether or not they really need to be worried over. You've got me, and I've got you, and that's what really matters." Cecilia leaned more heavily against Ez, drinking in his warmth as she continued to stroke and dote on the bander.
Was it just her or did Azzy seem a little rounder?
The doe shrugged it off as too many treats and instead focused on the delighting prospect of going out to dinner. "Ooo! The Golden Apple? That would be absolutely lovely, Ez." She tilted her head, giving his neck a coy lick. "I'm all yours for the evening, love, and for however long you'll keep me." The doe laughed, her cheeks burning delicately under her dark fur. "Honestly, I think I need a vacation."

Ez fluffed his wings out very briefly, as he drew the deer into a hug. They had each other, that was right. Things would be better, even if he couldn't reverse the mistakes of the past.
"Then you'll get a vacation to remember. I'll wine and dine you and then we can do whatever you want for the rest of the night." He smiled and squeezed her just a bit tighter. "It'll be a while before we can go though, since it isn't that close to dinner. So, what do you want to do until then?"
He actually didn't have a devious thought in his mind. Cecilia was one of the few people that he wouldn't jump just because he had the chance to have some "fun." She was entirely too important for that sort of thing.
His bander shifted closer to the pair of them, trying her hardest to squeeze between the two. She wanted to be the center of attention.

It was so strange to think that, for the first time in a long time, Cecilia didn't want to go back to work.
Usually she enjoyed the attention and the pleasure, but something about running into Ronno again... his demeanor had been unusual, a little disturbing though she couldn't place why it had bothered her. The doe blinked thoughtfully as she laid against Ez's chest, happy to lose herself in his warmth. She was safe right here, with Ez, and she could worry about work another day.
"You're wonderful, Ez." She smiled and tilted her head to peer up at him once more, such a gorgeous sparrow and so smart and sweet. He always knew the right things to say and Cecilia was certain it was far more than some diamond charm. The doe gently shifted, laying her hand on Ez's corset and working her fingers slowly up his chest. "There are lots of things we can do before dinner," she giggled softly and smiled, "but mostly, I just want to be sure I don't leave your arms until we go."
Really, they had all night to screw each other senseless... Cecilia could happily go for just cuddling and talking.

He gave a soft sigh. "I think that's a good plan, my Madam. After all we have plenty of time to share each others company." He sighed as he snuggled up closer to her. Now that everything was out in the open he felt far more relieved. No one was going to take her away, and if they did, they would have to suffer.
And he would make them suffer.
"What have you been doing recently, anyway?" He said with a tilt of his head. He hadn't heard much about her adventures of what happened to that child she gave birth to. Of course, he couldn't particularly blame her. It was an unwanted child. But... sometimes he couldn't but wonder what would happen if they made a family together. Not like he would bother to ask. This was supposed to be time just for her.

"Always and forever," Cecilia murmured out with a happy sigh as she snuggled more firmly against her gorgeous sparrow.
One day she would be able to find the perfect words that would express just how wonderful he made her life. There was nothing better than a day spent with Ez, not even sex. Unless, of course, one was talking about sex with Ez which was in a whole different ballpark of good.
The doe beamed to herself and wrapped her arms more firmly around him, temporarily relinquishing her petting duties to latch onto Ez properly.
What had she been up to? Her thoughts flashed briefly to the squalling child and she shuddered briefly. For the briefest seconds she had seen those Selkie colors and thought it had surely belonged to Ez, she could never have felt the horror she'd felt toward it if the little thing had been Ez's. But then she'd been... feline and there had been no hope of explaining that away. But she was gone, safe with Mommy and Daddy where she wouldn't have to worry herself over her again.
But other than that? For surely they wouldn't talk about that horrible mess. Cecilia didn't like admitting she was ashamed of herself.
"Spent some time with Momma for a bit," the doe trailed off. Oh yes, she'd run into that Ronno fellow again... "I ran into Ronno again." Cecilia's brows furrowed. "Never thought I'd see him again and... I guess I'm not real happy have seen him again either." She would never have been able to tell Mommy or even Daddy, who had already given up fretting over her life decisions, about this sort of thing. "He kind of weirds me out now, y'know?" She didn't quite want to admit it, but Ez really was right about Lowlanders...

The sparrow pouted at the lack of petting very briefly. The snuggling made things better. He wrapped his arms around her with a contented smile. This was just a perfect moment.
And then that name came up. She had mentioned him before, and the only reason the sparrow had cared to remember was because the man was a Lowlander. The thought alone was enough to make his talons hover over Cecilia with a twitch. It took a moment for him to fully relax, tracing a small circle on her back with one of his talons. "It's that Lowlander, right?" The corner of his mouth twitched. "You know... if you ever run into him again, I'd be more than happy to take care of him for you. You know, get him out of your hair. I don't want you to be bothered by anyone so worthless."
He gave her a sweet smile hugging her a bit tighter. If he had the chance he would kill anyone who hurt his Ceci. Of course, he wasn't about to say that out loud. Didn't want to worry her or anything.

Cecilia felt Ez twitch for a minute and slowly she looked up to peer innocently at the sparrow. Concern held her expression briefly before she smiled once more and returned to resting her head on his chest.
"You're really cute when you're protective like that, y'know." She closed her eyes once more, relaxing fully. Of course she didn't need to worry about Ronno, she had Ez. Ez made everything alright. "I love you, Ez. If he bothers me, you can make him go away." It wasn't like she was particularly attached to the Lowland Buck and the weird way he attempted to pretend that they were some sort of item.
Silly delusional johns.
"But, mhm, that one. Never thought I'd see him again, but he's acting like... like, I don't know... like he should be more than a one-time thing." Cecilia didn't like that, and she knew her Ez wouldn't either.
