"You're so sweet, Ceci!" He said with a delighted chirp. He sighed happily he laid his head lightly on top of hers. Sometimes he couldn't help but wonder how he had fallen for such a heart breaker. Then he remembered how sweet she was, and how she always knew what to say to prevent him from doing something stupid.
Of course this time around it seemed that he would need to be a little violent. How could that bastard waltz into her life and pretend such a horrible thing. It made his feathers ruffle just thinking about it. "It would seem I should teach this Lowlander a lesson. Just to put him in his proper place you know? Don't want him over stepping his societal boundaries."
The sparrow smiled at the thought of taking a baseball bat to the bastard's knees. Or maybe a hammer to his knuckles if Malch and Zane were willing to help.

Cecilia couldn't help but enjoy it when he talked like that. He mixed drop dead gorgeous with tough guy so well that Cecilia could barely believe it until it slipped out in little moments like these.
It also made her feel like a princess of sorts.
Ceci loved feeling like a princess. Or simply pampered and cared for. Wasn't that why she'd sought out men before? Ronno had played some large part in the beginning of her habit that she was now too caught up in to properly give up. She could probably due to drop the creepy Lowlanders off her black book though... That'd be a good idea.
"That sounds like a good idea. I don't want any yucky Lowlanders trying to pretend they're so familiar with me." She smiled and slid her hand up to rest it gently on his cheek. "You're the best, always and always." As the doe stroked the sparrow's cheek, she leaned in to whisper playfully. "You should be fierce like this more often, Ez, it's too much fun." She placed a warm kiss on his cheek to drive the flirtatious comment home.

The sparrow laughed as he ran his fingers down the doe's back. She really did nothing but encourage him since they were younger. "I'll be bad ass just for you then, my Ceci. It's more fun with you anyway."
He quite suddenly gave her a light nip on the ear to illustrate his point. Sometimes he really wished he could kiss a person properly, but that would have to wait when he actually had time and focus to work on getting his human form. With all the things in his life it wasn't exactly his top priority. Which was... a bit of a shock when he really thought about it, but the idea of having children seemed far more important.
And damn did he want kids.
Stuffing that thought away he continued to focus on the deer that was sitting in his lap. "So besides having dinner out I was thinking of taking you shopping tomorrow. It's been a while since we've done that together."

Not only did Ez make everything better, but he did so in the most wonderful ways.
There were the usual cuddles and kisses and kind words, he was so good at that, but there was nothing like that bad-boy protectiveness topped with such a wonderful offer such as shopping.
Her excitement was palpable.
"Oh! Shopping together would be amazing, darling, wonderful!" Cecilia enjoyed shopping, but shopping with Ez was wonderful. He had a fabulous sense of taste and she loved getting to dress him up -- and dress up for him. Grinning with childish glee she nuzzled against his chest. "You really know how to make a girl swoon," Cecilia giggled, "and guys for that matter." Who could honestly resist her stunning sparrow in his pretty pink corsets?
Cecilia's fingers ran gently down the smooth material of his corset before sliding them up once more to slide through his downy feathers. So handsome, so sweet. She was glad that after all their playing was done, that it was her he had chosen to keep coming back to.

He chuckled, well at least she still enjoyed shopping. Not to mention she was so very good at flattering him. He gave her a brief tight squeeze before loosening his grip. "I'm glad you think so, I've been laying pretty low as far as flirting goes and I'm happy I haven't lost any of my charm." He gave her a slight nip on the cheek.
The sparrow was thrilled. He could have a real lasting relationship with someone and he could still continue to flirt. He had to wonder if there was anyone as lucky as he was. That was a stupid thing to wonder, since in the end it didn't matter as long as they were happy together. He had finally admitted to her the truth and he felt ten times better than he ever had before.
"You really are wonderful, you know that Ceci?"

Cecilia couldn't contain her giggle at his words. "You're terribly silly. There's no way you could lose your charm." She licked his neck in return and let her affection speak for itself, wandering up toward his ear. "You were made to be charming." With a final lick to the cheek, she leaned back and smiled up at him once more.
His words caught her off guard and caused a soft red flush to form beneath her dark fur. Only Ez said these kind things about her. Most of the people she picked up on the job only wanted one thing and her parents... well, it wasn't as if they were all too pleased with her choices.
"Thank you, Ez. I'm only so wonderful because I have you, you really do bring out the best in me." If for nothing else, that alone was one reason she'd always adore him above everyone else.

"All right," he announced, "You win. Now, how do you propose we waste time before dinner? And do you want to dress formally for said dinner? I have a few pretty dresses that you might like to try on. Of course I'd need to take some time to pull them in for your find figure, and they're all quite backless..."
The sparrow was thrilled. Happy. He truly wished that they could be like this all the time. But of course half the time things were a complicated mess of nightmares called real life.
Some of the time he couldn't help but wonder why Ceci had chosen the profession she did, but he wasn't about to bitch to her about it. It was her choice however complicated it was. And if he had to kill to keep her safe, he was more than happy to do so. That was love after all.

Victory was a great thing. Especially when it came to showering Ez with affection. Her pleasure showed in her unbreakable smile, but that could also be accounted to the fact that fancy dresses were being mentioned and those were among Cecilia's favorite things in all the world.
"I think fancy dresses would be wonderful, Ez." The doe giggled and licked the sparrow on the cheek. "You really do spoil me."
At times like these, Ceci secretly shared Ez's thoughts. She loved getting paid to do what she loved, but she was also growing to dislike some of the odd habits of the true sicko pervs she occasionally ran into. They made the whole thing seem like such an unfortunate waste. Of course, fools like Cecilia rarely realized just how deep in they were until they'd dug so deep that couldn't get out.
Cecilia still hadn't realized how deep her hole was getting.
"How about, sometime between the dress and dinner, I show you a quick measure of my happiness?" The doe winked a little, slipping off the couch to give him a cheerful little tug.
