Vesper's expression twisted in a perfect display of childish disgust. It was bad enough that she looked only slightly over 9 right now, but she had only been around 15 when she'd gone and died and lost... or gained... all those years. It was a confusing mess, but it ultimately landed her as quite the virgin.
Besides... No one wanted to do that sort of stuff with her when she was drunk, they'd usually prefer to just try and give her a good death-beating. Least she wasn't a child whore, though. "I am not! No one would look twice at me anyway... well, for other than tha usual." She glanced at her leg, huffing to herself. Gross... but, in the same thought, her mind wandered back to Cy... He looked twice, didn't he?
The thought was shoved away just as soon as it had come. They were fighting after all, that was why she was in this whole mess! Somewhere in her thoughts she managed to lose the warning of being lifted and, to her shock, was suddenly being hefted up by a mouse. The rat gurgled in surprised, teeth grinding together in disapproval before her stomach started to churn.
Oh hell, don't puke!
"Urggkk..." She gagged quietly but managed to keep what little stomach contents down. "Fixin' me up sounds good... Real good..." Lords she couldn't wait to lay down.

"Dude, if she tosses her cookies I am leaving her here," Eurwen muttered as she glanced at her brother who was slowly counting his steps. He had memorized certain paths to where he needed to go, and hoped that he wouldn't run into things. Nine times out of ten he ran into people, or smack dab into stationary objects. Walls were fun.
"Could be worse," Radz said in reply to his sister. It wasn't long before they came to their proper destination and he carefully reached out and nudged the door with his nose and waited for his sisters confirmation.
"To the right, slightly above where you are," she instructed. And thankfully he was able to get it the second try. The small door swung open to reveal a rather small looking part of a warehouse. How two young children would acquire access to something like this was a very valid question that neither of them would answer straight.
Various lab equipment was scattered throughout the area, Eurwen carefully made her way in and give her brother to signal to close and lock the door.
"Taaaada!" said the pure mouse. "Just set her down and get the bandages."

Vesper managed to hold her cookies through the last legs of the journey to the warehouse and, when she was finally set down, she was thankful to see that the world wasn't tilting and spinning as badly anymore. Good. She sighed softly with relief and allowed herself to collapse into a heap of pain and groaning stomach pain.
"Neat place you've got here," she murmured as she eyed the place over a couple of times. A lot of the equipment had duplicated through her blurry eyes and merged together to form odd instruments that Vesper didn't bother trying to pretend she recognized or understood.
It didn't matter what the crazy Corvies did so long as it meant her rot would maybe go away or whatever. Nothing could be worse than what she already had.
"Bandages, I like the sound of that." She made a wry, buck-toothed smile. "Y'got anything to eat or drink? Somethin' to settle mah stomach maybe? Don't want to barf on anyone after all the help 'n' stuff."

"Thank you," Radz responded as Eurwen darted off to get a variety of materials to fix up the rat.
She took note that the little rat would need something to settle her stomach. Honestly, it wasn't like they were running a hotel or anything. And why was Radz being so nice? She was a Lowlander. Grandpa had told them that Lowlanders were bad! Even if they were only part Lowlander they were still icky and rotting! She grumbled to herself as she hurried off to scurry around the room.
Radz lowered his voice just in case, "I'm sorry about my sister. She'll get what we need though. She's just a bit bitter about Lowlanders... part of our family has had a bad experience as far as the region is concerned."
Eurwen skittered back briefly with something for the rat to drink before hurrying off again.
"Get the right ointment, Eurwen," Radz reminded as she scurried away.

Vesper scoffed a little, though not intentionally unkind. "I'm used to it. Y'think people are usually much better? Really, this is 5-star treatment as far as I'm concerned." Vesper didn't expect better, what Lowlander did? Sure, she was only part but she was still an ugly little half-breed Lowlander mix.
She couldn't even be a fascinating mutation like Radz himself.
The rat-mix paused when Eurwen briefly returned, watching her move about. She was quick... Vesper slowly returned her attention to Radz.
"I'm just thankful that y'guys are doin' what you're doing. So... uh, why are you doing this? Just fer science?" A small piece of her still couldn't believe that some charity act had picked her up off the streets. Well, technically, it wasn't charity... It was probably all in the name of science, but she'd be damned... it was still the kindest treatment she'd received from not-family in the entire history of... well, of her life.

"If it was just in the name of science, we wouldn't need to be nice to you," The mouse eagle said with a small shrug. "I find it interesting how wounds heal with different ointments are applied. I also find it fascinating how Lowlanders never heal. I figured we might as well put a bit of ointment on those wounds just to see if... it does anything at all beyond making you smell like a plant."
He knew full well that it wouldn't heal anything, but it was still worth a shot. And he wanted to see if what he and Eurwen mixed came out better than the last batch... which was just like any other healing ointment.
Eurwen finally returned, Two different tubs in her hands. "Move a bit," she said to her brother, brushing past him. He backed up slightly, still hovering. He didn't trust she wouldn't do something stupid.
Now she had to touch a Lowlander because her dumb brother couldn't see and wanted to experiment for the sake of science. The mouse twitched a bit as she reached out for one of the wounds away from the rot. She lightly applied an ointment to stop the bleeding. After that she shakily applied an ointment that clearly smelled of plant, though the actual vegetation couldn't be placed.
It was better than pouring peroxide on the rat's head, which was tempting.
"It doesn't tingle does it?" Radz asked the Vesper.

Vesper really didn't know how to take what Radz had suggested.
So he was being nice... just for the sake of it? Of course she was still partially an experiment but he was being nice regardless... It made her already spinning head spin a bit worse. It wasn't like this sort of thing was completely unheard of but it was still rare and always left her baffled.
Who the hell could like a piss-ant like herself?
The rat mix shoved the thought off with a soft 'hmph' as Eurwen returned and started attending to her. Vesper would watch her closely as she swayed lightly on her paws, trying to determine just what it was that they would be doing to her 'in the name of science'. Apparently, it was rubbing a rather herbal smelling ointment on her. Her sensitive nose left her cringing a bit, but a sneeze or two later and she was fine.
"Not really?" Everything was a little tingly from the alcohol, but nothing was really out of the ordinary just then.

"Good, good. Then we don't have to worry about it being infected!" He said as cheerfully as his voice knew how. A small smile twitched on his lips. Perhaps it was at the idea of an experiment gone well? Or perhaps it was something else entirely. He didn't exactly care.
Eurwen however, noticed and sent her brother an unseen glare. Which was then promptly redirected at the Lowlander mix. Guh. Lowlander. So disgusting. Not only did they have open wounds they were just.... argh. Why did her brother have to take in interest in saving one? Especially one so damn ugly. Stupid rat with buck teeth.
If her brother knew what she was thinking, he would have smacked her upside the head. So she remained silent and begrudgingly wrapped and bandaged the wounds. She however, did not touch the leg that was rotting. Oh no. She was NOT getting near that.

Vesper found an odd sort of amusement in Radz's cheerful quip and, well, the entire situation in general.
Really, this whole thing was new to her and his little smile just seemed to top the wonderfully weird factor of it all. It almost made her feel ... cared for, which was strange coming from anyone other than Kat. Who, for once, would not have to be the one to see her all a mess.
How ironic.
"Tha's good... Y'know, my brother will really appreciate this," she said with a small, scoffing laugh. "He worries too much for his own good, and 'e knows 'bout as much on first aid as I do." Nothing, absolutely nothing. Which was why she was such a mess of scars. Some proper care would've probably have healed much more of them.
As Eurwen went about wrapping the wounds, Vesper peered down and watched her. Watched her carefully avoid the rot. The rat twinged inwardly self-conscious and self loathing. The rat mix found herself grinning oddly, trying to ignore just how much she shared Eurwen's poorly concealed disgust. "Ey, can ya pass me some of those bandages when you're done?" She might have been limited by paws, but she'd gotten pretty good at wrapping up the nasty thing.
Besides, no one in their right mind would touch a Lowlander's rot so it wasn't like Vesper expected Eurwen to bother with it.

"Oh? You have siblings?" The mouse eagle tilted his head in curiosity. And from the tone of her voice he didn't seem to know much about first aide. What on earth did this poor girl look like? Not like he really cared. It wasn't like he was going to see her anytime soon.
Eurwen continued to wrap several of the wounds. And then paused as the girl spoke to her. Oh, so she was willing to do her part. Eurwen held out the bandages, along with a different cream to put on the wounds. "Have fun." She said quietly look at the girl with the same disgust she had before.
Her face wasn't going to change anytime soon. After Vesper took the the objects out of her hand she moved back besides her brother. Lightly brushing up against his wing with her tail to signal she was there. He made a small nod. "So I imagine you don't have a place to stay for the night, Vesper?"
