Aima could only think to stare at him for a moment. So she'd met her but hardly remembered her? Maybe Tulgeys were oblivious to their own evil, so when they saw others from their own realm they didn't have a problem with them. Other Tulgeys must be just other cards to them. She didn't want to know what this would mean for the cards outside their realm.
She couldn't think of anything to reply with. So he'd met her and only stated that. What then? She'd been hoping for a bit more information if he had met the evil creature. When she'd asked the question she really hadn't been sure where she was going with it. Maybe she was feeling like ranting, but she couldn't rant to him. Word might somehow get back to the source and then where would she be? Pleasing that demon would be the last thing she'd do willingly!
Aima chugged the rest of the coffee in one go after that, and made a point of not slamming the cup down onto the table in her haste. "Well, I must thank you for the coffee! Which way to the exit?"

Aberforth took Aima's silence as confirmation that yes, it was this same Mrs. White that he'd met as well. It certainly explained quite a bit, not that the Goat really cared to psychoanalyze people (unless he was trying to figure out what their angle was on a situation--the only true reason to trust another Card would do what they said, if they were getting something out of it) but sometimes he found his thoughts naturally stray towards that line. Perhaps he was more cut out for police work than he'd initially assumed.
He was surprised she didn't have more to say on the subject of that enigmatic maid, but he didn't show this, merely finishing his coffee and tossing the cup nimbly into the waste basket. There was no reason for him to volunteer anything. After all, he'd barely exchanged two words with Mrs. White, and what he knew about her couldn't fill a thimble. His paranoid guesses about her may go on a bit longer, but he was hardly going to share any of that. He looked up when she asked that question and threw a 'thank you' in his face like a blunt object. He stood up, stretching his neck slightly and then pointing with one hoof down the hall.
"Straight out past the desk and to the right. Big double doors. Can't miss it," Aberforth told her, going to nip her cup up as well to throw it away. He felt mainly relief at her leaving, though his eyes were the same emotionless void they'd been almost all night.

Aima stood up while grabbing for her crutches. Either Aima was too tired for the coffee to work or it hadn't kicked in yet, but as long as it continued not to work she would be happy. Aima planned to sleep much longer than she usually did. Maybe sleep would help her recover from tonight. She mourned that she could not just use her Spade's ability to run home, but with her broken leg she doubt she'd make it before it ran out and then she'd be passing out in some alleyway. It was hardly encouraging.
"Alright," she replied to his directions. Her manners weren't working, and she wasn't about to attempt to bring them back, especially when she was tired, miserable, and just wanted to get back to her apartment. Using her crutches she walked over to the door, pausing after she opened the door and stood in the door frame. "Uh. Have a nice night?" she offered, thinking it just too awkward to walk out. Though with the addition to that it seemed to make everything more awkward. The martin shifted uncomfortably before nodding at the creepy goat and leaving to walk down the hallway, where she would then proceed to walk past the desk and out the double doors.
It would take her far longer than she would have liked to reach her home, but when she did she would drop the crutches onto the ground, crawl into bed, and sleep in two hours before she had to work the following night.
