((It's Lachlan's debut! Bear with me as I hammer out the corners of his personality and background.)) It had already been a few days since his last assignment and the Tiger was growing bored. When it was deemed his client no longer required the assistance of a bodyguard, Lachlan had ventured back to the Marsh. Three days at home with the family was enough to send him running to the Capital and thank goodness he did. There was nothing quite like family, but most should be taken in small doses (including his own). After spending some much needed recoup time at the local Bar, he had spend the last day sobering up. He'd had enough alcohol for at least another twenty-four hours, that was for sure. Thankfully with his success and gleaming reputation he had never wanted for a client, or for money. It was about time he took an extended vacation, and it couldn't have come at a better time. He'd just finished eating lunch and was perusing the streets of the Capital for a nice establishment offering desserts to finish off the meal. Maybe a drink of coffee or two, and if he was really lucky...some good company.

Isolde finally got a break today after several days of trying. Between Aeron, Aurelius, Sabe and work... she just couldn't get a chance to take a breath. She decided to stop at the closest cafe in the City. She sat down and waited for the waitress to get through the daily specials. " Can I have an egg salad sandwich, please?" she inquired. As she walked away, Isolde took a moment to look around. She didn't see anything interesting until she noticed the handsome Josiggy tiger. " Excuse me" she called over. " What region are you from?" Yes yes, Isolde is very blunt. It didn't exactly occur to her that she may be a bit rude, she was just very curious. His super long claws intrigued her and she wondered at the moment if he had ever killed someone with them. Though he looked like a sweetie, so maybe he hadn't... yet. When the waitress came back, she took a big bite of her sandwich and munched happily. This really was her favorite food in the whole world. Suits, it was good.

Lachlan had just entered the Cafe when he realized the question of Region was aimed towards him. Good lord, he hadn't even had a chance to look at the Menu yet! Flashing a spectacular smile, the Tiger crossed fully into the establishment and over to the canine. She was lovely and her voice was pleasant enough. His tail swished idly behind him as he introduced himself.
"I'm from Josiggy Marsh, though I thought it might have been evident from my coloring," he said teasingly, grinning wider. "Though I guess I could have been a Mix showing mostly Marsh colors."
Lachlan paused to look at the Menu on the wall behind the counter and considered his options. Regular coffee was in order, but one of the danishes was absolutely calling his name. He ordered the two, smiled obscenely at the waitress and paid for his desserts.
Gesturing to the bistro tables lined along the sidewalk outside, "Would you care to join me for a chat?"

Ooh, what a cutie. Isolde was pleased when he came over and asked to sit. And a Jossigy Marsher, huh? well... she'd not known someone from there before... ah well, new experiences happen every day. It broke her heart when he ordered a danish, it reminded her of Tavor and his sweet tooth. He was so busy with the kids these days that she barely got to see him and that killed her.
Ah well, she was being silly. Today was a good day and she was invited to have some company. She really loved having someone around, it bummed her out a lot to be alone at any given time. She was a social butterfly by heart, so why should she ever be alone anyway.
Isolde picked up her things and walked out to sit with the tiger. "Thank you for the invitation, my name is Isolde." She said as she chewed delicately once more. This sandwich was totally orgasmic.

Lachlan watched her walk out of the Cafe and smirked to himself. He thanked the Cashier again, grabbed his things and headed to the table outside. It was a mildly cloudy day but for right now the sun was shining where the Canine had decided to sit and the chairs felt so warm beneath him. Being a Tiger did have it's disadvantages though, he thought as he positioned himself in the now seemingly small chair.
After he was able to successfully put his tail through the opening in the back, he watched Isolde take a bite of her sandwich and smiled. "You look like you're enjoying that sandwich."
Following her example, he bit into the danish he'd ordered and groaned in pleasure. Damn, it was good! It had been awhile since he'd given in to his sweet tooth and it tasted just as heavenly as he remembered. Following it up with a sip from the hot coffee and Lachlan couldn't think of a better way to spend the afternoon.
"It's a pleasure to meet you," Lachlan said, emphasizing the word pleasure, "My name is Lachlan. What brings you to the Capital this fine day?"

It was a rather nice day so Isolde didn't mind moving and really she appreciated the company. She giggled a little as she watched him situate at the chair, not out of making fun but more because she herself had been in that situation a time or two.
She nommed on her sandwich a bit more before responding. "Mmm Yeph, it's delicfus" she mumbled as she chewed. It wasn't ladylike to speak with your mouthful sure, but this sandwich was just... there wasn't words for it. She wouldn't flip out over the sandwich so much if Grandpa Ophelia would just let her eat it in the house...
She laughed though when the tiger bit into his own food and groaned because of it. She knew he was just following her and he seemed to do a better job of it. He amused her and it pleased her quite a bit.
"It's nice to meet you too, Lachlan" she said as she reached out and put a paw over his for emphasis. Two could play at that game.
"Well, I found myself needing a day off and what better way to do that than to gallivant in Capital City?" That was true enough at least.

He nearly laughed out loud when she spoke over a mouthful of sandwich. He'd never point it out, but small bits of crumbs went flying harmlessly into the air to settle on the table. The wind would surely clean those up. Wiping off some icing from his own mouth, Lachlan licked his lips appreciatively. This Cafe should be known for their downright sinful danishes, and the Tiger would make sure to spread the word.
Lachlan watched the Canine extend her paw and wiped his own off on his back fur. After making sure there wasn't any evidence of sticky icing left, Lachlan took her paw in his and shook it while squeezing gently. He was getting better at this Human Form simulation of a greeting. Her fur was soft and felt nice to the touch. Lachlan smiled again at the female before slowly and gently letting her paw go.
"It seems that is the theme of the day! I'm actually in between assignments at the moment and am taking the down time here in the Capital." Lachlan paused to take a drink from his cooling coffee. "It's been awhile since I've been in the City though, so I'm still trying to decide what to do with my day," Lachlan said, pausing to look at Isolde suggestively. "Do you have any suggestions?"

She wasn't the most ladylike today but she knew how to have a good time at least. She had no idea though that she had spit any out... not that she would have cared much if she did, she was just having too much fun.
She smirked as he took her paw and shook it, it was unexpected to say the least. Isolde thought he would at least flirt back or something.
"Assignments, huh? What is it that you do exactly? Sounds important at least" she asked curiously. The wording did have her wondering what he was going on assignments for.
She was almost surprised at his sudden comment about his day, she thought he wasn't going to say anything...
"Well, you and I see what pops up" she winked. Wasn't the smoothest of lines but it did work once or twice for her. She figured that with her looking like a young girl, others chalked it up to naivete.

Lachlan watched her face as he'd shaken her hand and noticed the confusion in her eyes. Wasn't he supposed to shake her hand? Did she expect him to do something else? Well, whatever it was supposed to be....it was done now. All he could do was play it cool. Smooth. Yeah...he could do that.
"I'm a contracted bodyguard, actually. For a certain amount of time, people can hire me to protect themselves, other Cards or possessions. I guess you'd call me the muscle," Lachlan informed her proudly. He just couldn't help but boast about it just a little bit more. "I've actually saved a few lives!"
Whatever pops up, Lachlan mused. That was a blatant attempt at flirting if he'd ever heard of one. Well, this day was certainly looking up. Even if the day didn't end in her bedroom, it was still nice to flirt every once in awhile. Flirting was a muscle that needed to be practiced at all times, and unfortunately Lachlan sometimes had to try harder than most.
Lachlan winked back and grinned, flashing her his long canines. "Sounds good to me. We've already had some food, and a nice drink. So food is out of the question. Is there anything of entertainment value to do here?"

"A bodyguard, huh? Well could you... guard my body?" she asked. It was such a terrible line but she was in a funny little mood, she couldn't help herself sometimes. Normally she would be the one laughing at another's terrible jokes but well, she was in a good mood so why not give it a shot. It wasn't often she got to grab a bite with a handsome Josiggy...er, well... he was actually the first Josiggy she had met. Heh.
"Well it really depends on what you like. There's numerous bars, clubs, parks, libraries. What's your fancy? I wouldn't mind playing tour guide if you like. I prefer to end up at the sweets shoppe kitchen making delicious things however" she blushed. She hadn't intended on giving out that much information but somehow she couldn't help it. This guy seemed trustworthy enough, maybe she could let her guard down just this once.
