The Selkie was trotting through the streets again, bad tempered for a reason none could guess, having been like this since he woke up early in the morning, yet minding his own business, although his own? Someone AGAIN had asked him to deliver something, so he did. Like the nice Selkie he was, that didn't mean that he was a messenger now, ooohh no. He still rather stayed home, how he got in this was a question he asked himself day after day, quite stupid, as he never seemed to receive an answer, but he could still try, couldn’t he? He shook himself, a bit irritated and huffed at the elongated fur that trailed from his paws and tail. He peered around with green eyes around the corner, then sprinted forwards as someone nearly stepped on his tail. He accidently pushed a crate of different goods off its stand and squeaked slightly, eyes widening. He said a hurried apology and continued on, not pausing even when the owner yelled for him to come back. He sighed faintly when he was sure he was clear from the owner of that stand and stood on his hind paws. His head tilted slightly as his ears twitched to catch any sound that could be worrisome for him. He listened once more and then when he was sure that nothing was out to get him. He continued his path, whiskers twitching slightly.

Rosemary was trying desperately to ignore the stares, whispers and off hand comments. People were curious to know what region she was. After all she had lost her white and wings. She had lost so much more than that though, and she could feel the crushing weight as she walked down the street. Forge tried his hardest to comfort her. He was a good sort of guy like that. But it as if he could undo the damage that had been done. She just wanted to talk to someone... a friend. Anyone. Maybe tell a story? She caught a blur of white and blue-green from the corner of her eye. She turned around to see what had passed her by after knocking quite a bit off one of the stands. A mouse from the Lakes, covered in quite a bit of fur... or feathers... or whatever that stuff was that the region had. Her tail fluffed out as she debated. "It's worth a shot. You've got nothing better to do Miss Mopey.""Shush." Rosemary said in a snort as she padded forward. Quickly grabbing one of the fallen pieces of fruit and throwing it in the mouse's general direction. "Hey Mister! You dropped something!"

He blinked surprised as the.. canine trusted something at him. He looked down at it and then extended out his own clawed hand and plucked it out of the air in time, noting it was a fruit he almost raised an eyebrow "Th-thank you." He stuttered, a faint blush making his cheeks go red, glad that he had fur to hide it he didn't worry over it as much, but it was still uncomfortable.
He looked at the fruit and then frowned "Did I buy this?" He questioned himself, head tilted slightly. He shook himself out of it soon enough and smiled pleasantly at her and extended his clawed hand again, this time the free one "Thank you still, miss..? He said again, letting his question trail off in the faint hope that she would give her name.
He waited long enough to allow her time to reply before he bowed his head briefly, remembering "My name is Amarth." He spoke, knowing it was quite a weird name for a card to have. But still, none had said that he was normal did they? A brief smile lifted the corners of his mouth again.

Rosemary gave him the brightest smile she could muster. "You're quite welcome." Her ears perked as he continued to speak. Clearly confused by the fruit that had been tossed at him. It was rather adorable--then again most honest people were, she supposed.
"Well, even if you didn't buy it, you have it now. I'm Rosemary. It's nice to meet you." She gave a little nod of her head, indicating a bow. When he revealed his name, the corners of her mouth twitched into a grin. That was quite the pretty name. Different from most people, different from the region. Her tails twitched with excitement as her eyes brightened.
"That's a rather nice name. You seem busy but... would you like to pause for a bit of coffee? Or tea?" She gave him another bright smile, this one a bit more genuine. Surly this mouse had some stories to tell!
"You have a one track mind."

He nodded his head, quite dumbly but then smiled brightly once more "I suppose I do." He replied, taking the compliment he had to blush again "Yours is far prettier than mine though, miss Rosemary." He spoke, ready to turn and scuttle away once more till she spoke once more, eyes widened and he cleared his throat slightly.
He looked around himself for a while and then nodded his head "Yes, sure." He lowered his head, ears perking up a bit "It would be delightfull.." He was in fact nervous to talk. He wasn't one of the most social cards around, he paused thoughtful and then shook his head slightly "And no, I'm not busy.." He offered a small grin and mentioned with his paw that she could lead the way.
"I've all the time.." He cleared his throat again and looked around, maybe he could sneak away when she wasn't looking? But no, she seemed nice enough he supposed. He would give it a try and talk.. socially with her. He only wondered though why she had spoken against him, he wasn't all that interesting to see (or talk too) after all.

"You're so sweet Mr. Amarth!" She said cheerfully as she perked up considerably at the compliment. It had been a while since someone said something nice besides Forge or her family.
As the mouse continued to speak she raised an eyebrow briefly. He seemed... nervous. It couldn't be helped, really--
"You are intimidating." Forge said, his voice practically dripping with sarcasm.
She ignored her sword's voice as she glided forward, moving next to the mouse as gracefully as she could muster. Her tail fluffing out and flopping over, briefly flopping on the other card's tail. She quickly removed it, smile still on her muzzle. "There's a nice place right over there. They serve all sorts of drinks."
She took a glance at his rank. So he was a number.... her mind flicked to her brother. Nope. She wasn't going to go there today. She didn't want to think about all those depressing things. "Drinks and chatting are always a way to brighten a miserable day for me. But if that's not enough encouragement for you, I'll treat you to a couple of drinks and a story."

As she said that he was nice he stuttered a bit more, he nice? "It.. it's good." He tried to smile again only to blush hotly once more as he felt her tail over his. He couldn't help it but find it very intimate gesture, maybe others thought so too, bu- okay. Let's not go there right now.
He dipped his head as she said she knew a good place and he smiled again, more true this time "That sounds nice." He said honestly and perked up a little as she said that they served a lot of drinks there, maybe he misunderstood but, STRONG DRINKS, here he came!!
He noticed that her eyes flickered to his chest and this made him a bit uncomfortable again, as if he was too less to be in her presence or something. He looked down and flicked his ears back slightly "I.. I agree." He said softly when she said that talking and drinking always brightened a day, although he made sure that only he could hear.
He only looked back up as she said she would offer him a few drinks "Miss!" He said, as if scandalized "That's something you don't have to do!" He flushed brightly again and shifted his weight.

"You're quite right. I don't have to do it at all." Rosemary said, chipper, as she trotted forward. "But I want to do it. And it will give me a good excuse to have an Irish Coffee. I don't get those as often as I would life."
She motioned towards the little shop in the distance. Before pausing to address an "issue" that popped up. "And you don't have to call me Miss. I'm not used to all the formal stuff... Please just call me Rosemary or Rose. It's a lot more comfortable for me."
A grin returned to her face before she urged the man along to the shop.
"Moving a little faster than usual. Going to go for a one night stand with this one?"
She coughed, ignoring the voice in her head. Of all the times to snark he had to pick now.
The shop was a cozy little place. Tables lining the outside as a waitress sat on a stool near the entrance to the small interior. She glanced up from her news paper to greet the pair, offering them a seat at one of the umbrella covered tables.

"A-alright." He stuttered "Rose it is then.." He walked after her as she spoke of Irish coffee. He licked his lips, already tasting it on his own tongue "Indeed, Rose." He spoke gently, still blushing "One should enjoy the delights more of it.."
He entered the area of the little cozy thing and looked around, interested and to remember this place, if they served good drinks he couldn't forget it, could he? He smiled friendly at the waiter and took the seat by the table she had mentioned them towards. He was glad of the umbrella as it shadowed him from the sun that was beating rather harshly down on him, as if it used a hammer to poke his head with. Rather harshly too.
He smiled nonetheless at her and tilts his head slightly, before taking the menu to observe it. He roamed it but didn't really find anything to his tastes and sighs faintly "Aye, Irish coffee sounds very good." He commented too himself.

Rosemary nodded to the waitress. "Two Irish Coffee's to start, and I would like one of your marvelous eclairs. If we want anything else I'm sure we'll grab you." She gave the waitress a wink before she hurried off.
Rosemary looked to the mouse as they waited for their coffee. "Mind if I ask you about the Lakes? It's one of the regions I've never actually had a chance to visit, and I'm trying my hardest to go to all of them. I want to be the best possible bard I can be, you see."
She wiggled in her seat to get comfortable. It had been a while since she had a chance to listen to someone talk. And then a thought popped into her head. Maybe she was making a few assumptions, eh? Well, it might have something to do with his accent. She hadn't heard anyone in the city with one quite like it. "Oh but if you haven't been there... sorry I tend to put the cart before the horse!"
"I think you forgot horse period." Forge said in mild amusement.
One day she would get used to the mental connection between Forge and her. Until then she would simply ignore his stray comments rather than answer them verbally.
