His tail curled into a pleased little loop behind him as he wiped the build up of ever oozing goo from his eyes so he could see a bit better, and he didn't even bother to wipe it from the back of his hand. Tattered ears swiveled fully forward as he watched the canine move in ... that speed that was ... Spade speed, wasn't it? That made him like this kid a little more ... just a little.
The selkie turned lowlander caught a glimpse of something coming at him from the corner of his eye but it was far too late, the silent nature of Conway's steps combined with his speed made it impossible to escape having the wire wound around his neck. A short gasping growl was the only sound he was able to make before he felt his air way being cut off. His eyes widened in panic as he did the only thing that came to mind, he reached up and tried to grab whoever had him with clawed fingers, he didn't care what part of him he got ... he just wasn't going to sit and let himself be strangled.
It didn't take long for the wires to start cutting into his flesh, blood soaking into the brown ruff of fur that completely hid the wires, his struggling becoming weak until it drifted into non-existence. The wire cut in further and it wasn't long before the selkie's body went limp and the only thing holding him up was the wire that was still cutting into his neck and Conway.
The rat's tail curled more and more as he watched, a sick sense of pleasure, that showed in his expression, coming over him. That .... was awesome, to say the least, and the site made his fur bristle as he held back a shudder of delight.
What a fun toy wire was ... he'd keep it in mind for the future.
That was fucking awesome!

Conway felt the claws dig into his skin. Automatically he gave the wire some slack and slammed his foot into the man's spine. He didn't let go until the man stopped moving completely and the only tension was him holding up the man.
He unwound the wire in a few quick motions. The man hit the ground with a sickening thud. He raised an eyebrow at the wire and wiped it on the dead body in front of him.
He snapped back to reality when the rat spoke. "Oh yes, I suppose it was. That's why I use wire. It's always fun." Conway started wrapping up the wire, and shifting into his human form. "If we're done here I should probably get going...."
He looked down at dead body. He was still half tempted to take the man's head.... He shrugged it off. "If you ever have any cleaning up to do and you don't feel like doing it yourself... you can ask for Glyndwr in Shady Pub in the Outer Bazaar. The one with the cat on the sign."
Conway didn't start walking until the wire was in his pocket. He kept his eye on the rat. He wasn't sure if he was going to get out of it this easy or not. He wasn't about to turn his back the Lowlander though.

He kept his runny, golden eyes fixed on the man who presently looked like a Hisstor-Selkie mix, bony tail curling more and more as he watched him, a grin finding it's way to his muzzle. The evening hadn't been quite as entertaining as he would have hoped and he was itching for a little more entertainment. He wrapped his words in diamond charm to keep them from sounding as menacing as he knew they would without, he couldn't help it... the boy had snared his interest.
Really, going so soon?
He started to move forward again slowly, curling his fingers in so that black claws bit into the palms of hi hands ever so slightly, he wanted to have some fun with this.... Conway. Especially since he'd reverted back to his human form.
I don't clean up my messes at all, far more fun to let people find the bodies in the morning.... or a few days later. I can't imagine everyone being so fond of corpses really.
Rounded ears made their way back against his skull as a devious smirk appeared on his muzzle as he dropped the charm .. .he really didn't like to use it outside of the Court.
Let's have a little fun, the night is far from over.
He lifted up his hands and started cracking his knuckles to make his intentions a little clearer.

Conway was not amused in the slightest. He half rolled his eyes at the rat's "invitation." He wasn't very subtle was he? Conway cracked his neck carefully, turning to fully face the rat.
Well, he hadn't had a good fight in a while. Even if it was with a frail looking rat he might be able to get something good out of it. And while he had the Spades suit on him he had the ability to move fast enough that he should be fine.
"The question is, will you break if I go all out?" Conway asked with a smirk, "You look a little fragile."
He glanced over at the body briefly before returning to focus on the diamond. The rat had stabbed someone to death so he did have power. He had to be careful of magic. He didn't want his cover to be completely blown.

Subtlety was something that he'd never been gifted, nor saw any real purpose behind either. If you didn't want someone to know something you could always just tell them to piss off and leave and let that be that instead of dancing around and hinting at it. He couldn't stand that type of thing, which was one reason he didn't much care to socialize with those dwelling in the halls of the Spade Court. They were, for the most part, horribly disappointing when taken as a whole.
But Conway was willing to indulge him in a scrap, and he couldn't help but grin at the thought. The kid was a Spade, which meant he was fast, but from what he saw he was also the up close and personal type of fighter ... his realm of specialty. Should be interesting either way really, win or lose. He didn't really care... he just wanted a good throw down.
The kid's words didn't phase him at all and he reached up, removing his jerkin from his shoulder and slipping his arms into the sleeves once more, his breathing instantly silenced by the action. He was officially deaf now, but he didn't think his ears would do him much good in this situation anyhow.
He straightened his shoulders and started to move in again on silent feet, tail growing stiff and still as his whiskers twitched forward. He was hoping Conway would make the first move, but if he didn't well... he wasn't all that patient.
Cream Jerkin: A somewhat plain looking, cream and black jerkin. It's long sleeved and appears perfectly normal, in fact it was sold in a normal, second-hand shop. An odd creature owned it once, it isn't known what it was they could do but the simple fact that they owned it gave the shirt some interesting properties. When any other creature puts it on they feel that all sounds around them cease. The jerkin projects an aura of silence for four feet when worn. No one close to the wearer can hear anything they do or say, not even their breathing. The downside to this object is that the silence extends over the wearer as well, so while it may be used to sneak by someone, it is worthless for eavesdropping. It would also stop the wearer from hearing potential sneak-ups behind themselves. However, it is pretty nice to be able to slink into places where you aren't supposed to be

(( OOC: ... so I thought I replied to this a while ago. Apparently... not. @_@ so sorry. so very sorry. ))
It would be fun. Easy. It would probably hurt. Conway bit his lower lip as he eyed the man. Should he make the first move? Should he wait for the rat to attack. What if he found out the truth of the matter?
Conway clenched his fist. Attack. He should just attack and ask questions later. Otherwise things might get worse than they already were. Two men were dead, and if he lingered someone might catch them. That would be a horrible problem. If he got caught he would be thrown in jail. If he was thrown in jail he would be found out. If he was found out he would be killed. Then he would never be able to see his sister again.
A smirk twitched on Conway's face as he decided that attacking first would be the option. Without holding back he shot forward, pulling his fist back to punch the man, aiming for right below his sternum.
