Had he been in the right form, Hatter would've purred when Peaches licked him. Instead, he flashed a flirtatious grin her way and gave her a little squeeze. It made him wonder, briefly, just what he could get away doing with his hands while they were talking to this woman...
She was standing on a line somewhere between pleasantly bitchy and even more pleasantly mischievous. Hard guess, especially if she was playing alpha wolf in front of her lightly wriggling little ball of fur.
Then again, he'd probably find out the longer he got to know her. Which was a fun game in and of itself. Like getting to know Lore had been.
"I wouldn't dream of keeping you from your man." The Hatter chuckled, watching as Peaches spoke with Hady from the corner of his eye.
Pawning the boy off on her daughter... Ingenious, really. Made him wish he had someone to pawn Kaden off on... Hmm, would it really be that easy? Probably not... Things like that always seemed to come back to bite his tail feathers.
